This account is pretty inactive now. But I pop on from time to time to see if anything of interest pops up. I tend to drop out of things with writers block if I find myself lacking in interest, but do try to keep things long=term. Been offline for most of the last 12 months but hoping I might soon find something to get me back in that RP saddle.

I'm so sorry. RL has been getting in the way something chronic recently. I'll have something up tomorrow I promise.
A bit short, but I got a couple of idea's here which I can't implement without seeing how things pan out on the Allura front. ^_^

We'll probably have a few moments like these, there's no right or wrong choice it's all down to character perception :D
The walk through the crypt was almost like walking down the street of any city, if not for the occasional repulsive smell it felt like it'd been one of the first opportunities Akira and Allura had just to talk with one another. However the mood would soon be dampened as the exit came within view. The sound echo'd towards them and only became more clear as the got closer, it was still raining. Akira felt as dejected as Allura appeared as she had turned to him to ask his opinion. Akira leant against the wall as he gazed up the stairway before them, greeted by nothing but darkness from the clouds that blocked out the skies rays of light. With a sigh of disappointment he looked back to Allura. "Well... we could wait it out. Or..." Before Akira could continue there was a sudden flash of light before the skies would roar with all its might. Had Allura been looking at the time she might make out the silhouettes of the pair that awaited them at the top. "Or you can come up here and we can talk Akira." A voice called out loudly so as not to have his voice muffled by the storm.

Upon hearing the voice and recognising it Akira wasted no time as he detached his crossbow from his belt and fired the loaded weapon up the opening. There was then nothing, no sound of the bolt finding a target. "See, demon through and through I sully my good friends name on you Volkran and you respond with violence. Can you not be civil for even a moment." The crossbow bolt had landed with a quiet clap towards the bottom of the steps. "What do you want?!" Akira snapped as he yelled back.
"To talk! Preferably where you can't make another bloody cheap shot!" Akira looked to Allura and shook his head. "Allura, if that's you down there I implore you to come up here where it's safe. I'm sure you're more than aware that there's another down there that'd more then willingly slit your throat to get that demon out of here!"
"Like I'd let that happen!"
"He has you, where he wants you Volkran. He wants destruction and you're his key. Allura... please."
Akira looks to Allura once more trying to gauge her thoughts as he reloads his crossbow. More then willing to make another shot if he had to.
When Allura spoke of concern for Hades, Akira glanced down at him somewhat puzzled. "Him? His fine." Akira stated before inconsiderately kicking at one of Hades' legs. "Get up, no time to play games." With that said Hades sat up slowly as his cloak of darkness covered him once more.
"Too much to ask for a moments consideration?" Hades questioned. "You know that hurt."
"Oh yeah." Akira said as he opened and closed his mouth slowly. "Not nearly as much as when you broke my jaw whilst Volkran was sleeping."
"Enough." Hades spoke as he stood up and went to retrieve his sword. "You two should go on ahead. The reapers should leave now that the necromancer is dead I need to take care of a few things." Akira nodded in acknowledgement to what Hades said before looking to Allura. "Time to leave then, shall we?" Akira asked before leading on back out of the hall, they were somewhat to the North so they only had to travel Eastward to get out.

"So, this turning out how you expected it to? I mean aside from the whole siding with the demon thing." Akira asked jokingly as he walked down the crypts corridor. The section they were travelling in seemed to merely be a connecting passage, the pungent smells that had surrounded them for most of their time there, and the alcoves filled with tombs were almost in complete absence. "I'll be honest, I thought you might have decided to give this up a while back by now. But I'm glad you didn't." Akira said with a smile. They were pacing pretty slowly, a given after the situation they'd been through. Little did they know what lied ahead.

Outside the storm was still going heavy rain and thunder drowned out all other sounds within the air as Irvine and Lance found the entrance. "So, think he's still here?" Lance asked as he gazed down the stairwell into the crypt deciding not to enter. Irvine answered Lance's question with a shrug. "Well, I guess we'll find out soon enough. Can't imagine him being able to deal with a necromancer to quickly. Plus..." Lance glanced about amongst the tree lines "...No sign of disturbed spirits means the deed is done, it can only be recent."
"Then we wait for him to show, and we take him down." Irvine stated also standing at the top of the stairs.
"They said they believe that Angel Allura is with him, may not be that simple. Will have to deal with this encounter carefully." Ignorant of the rain falling on them the pair continued to converse as they stood, waiting for the appearance of Akira to come within eye sight.
Hope I gave you enough to work with. What I have planned is in about 2-3 more turns time we'll have some character down time and some story that's a bit less violent. Don't want to bore you with constant fighting ^_^
Although under the control of the Necromancer Hades felt a small amount of respect for his Angel opponent who lasted as long as she had against his attacks, even managing to land a strike. "Good, though not good enough." Hades spoke his voice completely void of any form of emotion. As he pushed the blade against her throat and his boot against her stomach he continued. "You did better then your brothers and sisters who were sent to kill me. But like them you'll fail, you'll always fail." Hades stared at the pinned Angel as he moved the blade away from her throat letting Allura have some respite as he turned to look back at the necromancer.
"What are you waiting for?" The Necromancer asked with a chuckle. "Finish.... it..." As the Necromancer spoke Hades turned back to look down at Allura once more.

"For what it's worth... I'm sorry." Hades spoke, his tone seeming almost as though it had grown softer. He raised his sword, but something was noticeable, he was no longer pushing so firmly down with his foot. "But the world has no desire for the involvement of your kind..." The sword was raised just slightly above Hades' shoulder but still held straight. "So Die!" Hades shouted, as he did he swivelled on his foot that was still on the ground as he launched his sword at the Necromancer, however it was stopped in the air by magics. "Foolish boy, did you not think I'd see your inevitable betrayal coming a second time?" The Necromancer question as its magic hurled the sword back at Hades, piercing the warriors chest as it knocks him to the ground beside Allura. "No matter." The necromancer spoke as he approached the downed Allura and Hades. "You know what they say, if you want something doing right... do it yourself."

"You... You stay away from her!" A twisted voice roared from Akira's downed location. The man had managed to get to his feet and was beelining straight for the Necromancer. What sounded like sparks from distant thunderbolts could be heard as each demon trap in his path broke. The Necromancer had turned expecting it to take some time for Akira to reach him, only to see the young man directly in front of him before being tackled to the floor where Akira would begin his reckless assault. Hades struggled back up to his feet, and painfully pulled the sword from his abdomen, offering Allura a hand to get back on her feet. All the while the undead warrior stood blocking Allura's line of sight as Akira beat the Necromancer with his bare hands. "Don't look Allura, focus on me." Hades said as he tried to hold the angels eye contact.

"Your soul..." Akira's twisted voice spoke as he delivered a heavy punch to the already bloodied Necromancers face. "Will be..." Another heavy blow, met by the sound of spine tingling crunches. "Ours!" As Akira finished speaking, Hades clasped his hands over the Angel's ears , grimacing from the burning it would cause to him. He looked into her eyes as screams echo'd throughout the room, that's when he saw it. "You've witnessed it before..." Hades spoke his knee's shaking the heavy wound he had received finally starting to take full affect. "Your eyes, they have the taint..." Hades' knees give way as he slumps against Allura, unable to stand on his own feet any longer revealing the sight behind him, before dropping to the floor. The Necromancer had been beaten to a bloody pulp on the ground, Akira was exhuming an aura of malicious intent and some sort of energy seemed to be transferring from the dead body of the Necromancer into Akira. However the aura soon dissipated form Akira as he turned and looked to Allura, quickly rushing to her. "Allura are you alright?" His voice had returned to normal as he moved his hand to the wound Hades had made on her neck.
@The One No worries a break can be nice from time to time. For me anyway :P
Jake listened to the report and plan mostly in silence just watching over what they would be doing. "Getting caught isn't an option here. You were all found guilty of treason, without trial I might add after all." Jake spoke up shortly after Heloise had finished speaking. "Chances are we're dealing with loyalists here, so zero chance of any defections. The likely outcome of being caught... I'd ponder a guess of a bullet to the back of the head in the warehouse district or in the tunnels." Jake paced about as he spoke. "I do however believe a scout on each team is a good idea."

Jake stopped passing and just thought to himself. He looked over the group one person at a time, the prison time had been harsh for a few of them. "The healthiest should go with Xerox, higher chances of being spotted will mean they'll all need to be fit enough to literally run for their lives if the army catches on." Then it occurred, there was a relatively easy executable strategy here. "We could bait them... The army will still be piecing together the case on Minerva, charged with conspiracy. I myself am still wanted for questioning." Jake shook his head as he spoke. "Of course by questioning they mean throwing me into one of those lovely prison cells. As such, they're currently looking for the escapee's. Throw them through a loop by putting the wanted man in their sights. In essence make them target blind, makes it easier for the rest of you to get by. Plus I can lead them on a merry chase through the city, if necessary I can lose them in the tunnels to Esthar, then double back through the service link tunnels."
I'll get something up tomorrow.
Irvine watched as Shela was freed by the Masked Man after agreeing to help him. As they walked away Irvine continued to follow them with his gaze. He was almost completely oblivious to the collar coming off until it landed at his feet. Irvine moved his hand up to his freed neck wincing slightly as he fingers ran across the burns it had printed on his skin just above and below the protective shadow layer. As the masked man called out claiming to be Arken, Irvine merely thought to himself Could be coincidence, could be liar. to which affect him simply shrugged it off for the time being.

Irvine looked around the glass cage, nothing of any real notice simple scraps of meat on a small plate and a tiny bowl of water so murky it could of easily been direct from a sewer. Irvine looked just outside his cell, concentrating, trying to get a mimic to form. All this did was cause him a great deal of discomfort. The boy stepped forward staring at the glass once more as he tapped his hand on it softly. "Interesting..." Whatever it was made of, it was suppressing his ability to do anything, even the shadow he'd cast earlier now clung to his neck refusing to let go and return to normal. Irvine simply sat back down like he was before. "Guess I'll have to wait it out then." Was all he said as he rested his back against the glass wall in thought.
