Me and @Overlord Thraka are a good bit away. But you should have no trouble spotting the kite and decide to investigate.

Or maybe, as GM you can introduce events like the situation downtown escalating into riots or a crazy random disaster like a massive cruise ship stranding ashore.

I think I want one more interested person and I'll go make the treat.
Meanwhile, here's a draft of the Character sheet. Tell me if I'm forgetting something.

Name: How you introduce yourself
True name: a close held secret, those who know is hold control over you
Mage: The mortal who has sway over you. Name, description, how he controls you (force, true name, friendship, other)
Orgin: Where you'd normally go back to
Alignment: Are you bound by moral codes?
Personality traits: Let's say, pick 2 to 5 recognizable traits. Leave room for development.

Forms:
True Form: You at 100%. What you're like in your home plane or in the open astral sea.
Summoned Form: What your mage gets when he calls you to the mortal plane.
Tavern Form: The Tavern alters your true form to somewhat humanoid dimensions. For practical reasons. (got to fit trough a door, got to be able to hold a beer, etc.)

Example

Name: Chevaliël
True name: Ashvah
Mage: Palcifèr the Mediocre. A blundering paladin who forgets about his god given mount all the time, often for months at the time.
Orgin: The Heavens
Alignment: Paladin rules, lawful good to the point of annoyance
Personality traits: "Holier than thou attitude", Stubborn, Complaints a lot.

Forms:
True Form: Glorious pearly white horse, flowing manes, 4 wings, 12 halo's.
Summoned Form: A horse. If Palcifèr ever accomplished something and leveled up, Chevaliël might have more to work with. But alas.
Tavern Form: 20 something human, dressed in monk robes and tonsured hair. Long face.

Oh damn, I forgot to subscribe to this, so i didn't see any notifications.

can i play an author's ambassador? she would be speaking for me, her author, and know she's a fictional character. she wont tell anyone that their world is a fantasy, she is just there to make whimsical remarks about god-like beings who use people and creatures for their amusement.

if i cannot play her, i will play Samyazaii, a fallen angel who is supposed to be constantly with my main character, The Infamous (a mortal warlord in charge of hell), but after he turns good, she is banished to the "tavern."
