This is why I feel bad about checking for replies from my phone when I can't reply back. Makes me appear online and gives partners false hope lol.

Bio

Hi!

Longtime roleplayer wandering to a new site. Fantasy is far and away my favorite genre to roleplay in, dark, high, low, whatever, as long as it has action and adventure and danger and thrills. I usually play female roles for a main character, paired with whatever you like! I'm not typically a romance writer, I'm not against it if it happens naturally, but I don't usually enjoy it being the main focus in a RP.

My writing level for this site I suppose I'd consider advanced, but really I tend to match what I'm given and adapt my writing to fit the group or partner I have at the time, so I'm happy to write any length, really. I write for a living, and take it quite seriously, but here I'm just looking to relax and have fun with exciting stories.

Feel free to send a PM to me anytime if you wanna say hi, or have a roleplay idea, or whatever really. I tend to be kinda picky in jumping into new RPs or taking on new writing partners, but I'm always happy to hear ideas or say hello.

How much would our characters have interacted prior to the IC? If they've all gone through training and the Bonding recently, seems like they'd know each other right? Or are we meeting for the first time in the IC?
For your consideration:

(happy to adjust anything if need be)

Tossing in my interest as well! Can't commit to anything yet, but this seems like a fun idea.
I can, I'm just not sure what to do? I'd thought we were going on this job we're getting hired for.
"A wagon needs guarding on its way north," Cora answered the cleric. She'd thought that encounter with the thugs was going to go much worse, but apparently there were as many people in town willing to help as take advantage of people. She still needed to find her sword, though...

"I'm taking the job. Don't think I should stay in this town a minute longer than I have to."
Lots to reply to for that one. Let's see if my luck stays just as bad lol.
Cora listened as the songstress got more money out of the gnome to be split among hired help. It seemed like a good idea, the roads were often dangerous and just one or two people would have trouble guarding a convoy from a bandit ambush. She had some time while Kitra went out in search of more help, so she busied herself with the cocoa and the fire until she was warmed up. Just as she paid, she heard the screaming from outside. Drawn to trouble like a moth to flame, Cora darted outside back into the cold and rain.

Running toward the sounds of screams, she found Kitra fleeing from four armed thugs. "Shit," she cursed to herself. This town was as bad as it looked. She reached for her sword, and... it was gone. She looked down, finding that the sheath had been cut from her sword belt entirely. "What the...?"

There was no time to think about it. She drew her knife instead and raised it defensively in a reverse grip. "Back off!" she shouted. "This isn't worth risking your life over!"

If that didn't convince them, Cora would just have to fight them as best she could, and maybe hope help came quickly.
Now I gotta figure out how Cora somehow doesn't notice her entire sword being lifted and stolen, but dice are dice I guess, will have time to post in a few hours.
This place was quickly proving to be more than Cora bargained for. The colors were too bright, the people too loud, and the singing coming from that woman was just making it all worse. She tried to focus on enjoying the cocoa and warming up, but soon overheard the gnome talking about wagon escort work. Just the kind of thing she was looking for.

She got up and headed over. "I'd happily take that job. Good with a sword and headed north anyway." Good with a sword was probably an exaggeration, but Cora had a little experience, and could hold her own. Jobs weren't acquired by being overly modest, anyhow.
