I'll toss in my interest, I guess.
Is it going to be a carbon copy of HG/SS though? No changes to the actual plot or anything? Just the same ol' Team Rocket trying to reform deal?

No I will add some curve balls simply because I cant remember all that happened and want this to be more interesting so no worries every thing we all do will change the story little by little. Think of HGSS as a Guideline for this region.

Traveling Johto to enter The Pokémon league! We are playing Heart Gold and Soul Silver.. Except that we play by the rules of the current Generation.. I know I have a lot to explain but I just created this page so let me get the rules up and after that ask questions about what you may not understand. Rules:

1. Your character may start with nearly any pokemon you like excluding legends and pokemon that have evolved.

2. The rules of battle are turn base. However Follow up attacks can be gain through attacks that would otherwise stun or temporarily disable the opponent or leave an opening.

3. Pokémon can be found out of there respective regions. This way people can catch the pokemon they love most from the start, But each pokemon has a habitat they belong to.

4. We all start in Johto this is not debatable However from there we will choose by vote the next regions we visit and so on.

5. Npc characters are run by the GM and or Co-GM. (This Includes Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and the Champion.)

6. It is ok to adopt certain Trainers from the games so just ask and I will tell you if it is alright. (Mine is trainer Crystal so Gold, and Silver would be fun.. Sadly Blue, Greed and Red are off limits.

7. In the anime Pokémon coordinator's combined moves in Order to achieve Greater results and even created there own. I encourage this. However Please explain how you came up with it and how it works before using it in the RP please.

I want this to feel like we are really in the world of pokemon so though we will all participate in each league, we can join the criminal teams, enter coordination contests, become a pokemon detective under detective Looker, Compete in the battle frontier, become a Pokémon Ranger, and much, much More!

Fun Fact: If you noticed in AUC Katsumi works at a coffee shop café kinda place that is quiet formal and truly enjoy serving others. Katsumi believes that a smile and happiness can be the most rewarding thing and is what he wants to see most in others even if he must work for it. His Alternate Persona is the Exact opposite and enjoys others suffering. Katsumi was preparing anything anyone might want and may even be going over board.. again. But after nearly letting "Mr. Hyde" get lose he was determined to make it up to people. He had learned while working at the Café at home that the most important thing was to make sure That everyone is satisfied. There was no such thing as doing to little! Thus he had prepared Many things including Eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, Pancakes with an assortment of syrups, and cinnamon rolls. He looked at everything and thought "I Definitely Overdid It!" Then he sighed and began to finish before people would start walking in.

@Alchemist: Okay, where do I begin? Having looked over the sheet, there are several issues present:

- I tend to take issue with characters that don't have, or don't know, one or more of their names. And several others in the role-play agree on that.

- Your starter is level 10, when the template in the first post specifically states starter Pokémon begin at level 5. In addition, several of us take issue with your choice of starter; we tend not to look favourably on those who choose Riolu, as it has the potential to become powerful rather quickly compared to other species.

- The Appearance section. As a whole.
- - Eyes should only ever be a stable colour instead of changing and shifting. Pick one and stick with it.
- - By "Arua" I'm going to assume you mean "Aura", the detection of which is a highly rare ability in the present-day Pokémon setting. Having looked it up, I can count the number of people with this ability on one hand.
- - Describing one's own character as "considered to be extremely attractive" raises a lot of red flags.

- I see several points in the personality with which several of us take issue.
- - She's "shy and untrusting", but you note her as being kind in the Appearance section. This feels like a rather large clash.
- - "patient and caution. but can be passionate and reckless". Which is it?
- - Being "brilliant" in terms of strategy. We aren't looking for full-blown geniuses here. Particularly ones with no explanation of where they learned their knowledge. And apparently wisdom. A sixteen-year-old probably shouldn't be considered "wise" unless they were fast-tracked in a monastery.

- Biography as a whole is on the far too short side, with very few details. A single paragraph just doesn't cut it. Sixteen years is a long time, and there could be plenty of noteworthy events that take place.
- - Professor Elm lives in Johto, not Sinnoh. You may be thinking of Professor Rowan, who lives in Sandgem Town, not Celestic. Unless this character travelled from one region to the other, which isn't mentioned at all.

- I see no proper explanation of where this character learned martial arts. Books can only take you so far in physical activity. If you don't have someone teaching you, you will inevitably end up doing something wrong, which can lead to injuries.

In conclusion, I won't lie: everything about this application gives me the impression that the character wants to be a special snowflake. Neo and I are in agreement that we won't accept this character.

If you want to try again with a different character, my advice is this: don't try to make your character special. Instead, try to make them normal for the setting. "Normal" doesn't mean "uninteresting".

As an additional note, we would appreciate it if future applications were posted in the OOC tab, rather than in the Characters tab.

as for appearance Her eyes are many shades of blue they do not change. My eyes are Hazel, Green And Blue.. so it is possible to have multicolored eyes. I apologize for the misconception.

I Chose riolu to be an aura tamer. Lucario is my favorite and thus I would like to train one the way Riley from Sinnoh does being that he is my older brother and where the Riolu came from. Lyra is unaware of this and so part of her story is figuring that out. that is why it was not in her bio.

You would be surprised what a book can teach. I learned martial arts starting that way! granted I made mistakes but lessons have helped me improve even more. Lessons I could get form the Dojo in Safron I am Sure. :3

If you dislike her personality I will fix that. I don't mind. :)

I can add to her biography too. There are details I left out. This is the first time I have tried a serious RP so I don't know everything but am willing to try. and yes she did travel or was shipped from one place to another. I will explain this when I correct her bio.

I do not want to be special I just want to have a Lucario and be able to train it right...

Your advise is appreciated and I will start on my corrections. But no matter what You ask me to change My riolu must remain Please. I love lucario and would not enjoy this nearly as much with out one. oh, and if you know Rileys last name I will add that to her Character Sheet. That would help a lot. I have looked for it but have had no luck in finding out what his last name is. I am sorry.
