And I believe that ridiculous amounts of hilarious teen-induced drama that riles up the rest of Spam in a highly amusing fashion doesn't require revision, but you're the curator of this Spamuseum, I suppose.

The ridiculously huge "pointless thread" that Nat made and a group of others (I can try to remember names) kept going until it was one of the largest threads on Oldguild.
The following thread is a repository for artefacts that date from before the tragic incident that has become known as Guildfall. This thread exists so that we, spam, do not forget our past as we forge ahead into a bright future.
What this thread is: ---A place to see old memes that were prevalent throughout spam at one time or another ---A place to see old events that were important to the spam community What this thread isn't ---A place to post that one inside joke you have with two people ---A place to post random images that are funny for non sequitur shock value
Note: I'm incredibly biased so if I break my own rules in posting something you're SOL.
Some guidelines: If you want me to post something here, you might want to ----A) Put the stuff into neat little hiders like I have here ----B) Make a little blurb about what it is, why it should be here, etc

"This thread is now about ducks was a thread-stopper. Whenever a spam thread was getting out of hand, a post about ducks would appear and the thread would be ducked into oblivion. Over time, how it was done and who did it changed. The original set of duck pictures, posted for the first time over three years ago:
Originally a corollary to ducks. After a while, the senseless duck-spam got tiring so I started resorting to posting man-candy to derail threads. It proved very effective - if man-candy wasn't your thing, you'd avoid the thread like the plague because you didn't want to see it. If it was your thing, you instead paid attention to the man-candy instead of whatever inane thing was happening beforehand.
For a while, things were very raunchy but soon guidelines were put in place. If it is too bad to show up in a Victoria's Secret or Calvin Klein magazine, it's too bad for the guild. Absolutely zero crotch-nuzzling allowed,

When the Talbot Family, a small collection of Spam members led by Bela Talbot, grew particularly large, Grif of Hearts was tasked with mapping the connections between the members in the style of a family tree. While simple in theory, very few people had bothered to keep track of the relationships between the member of the Talbot family, leading to a huge number of probably-illegal relationships between individuals involved. When the tree developed into the Spamily Tree, containing all frequent members of the Spam section, it became ever harder to understand.

One of the largest threads in spam history, it eventually overtook all others in terms of sheer post-count.
The following testimonials are available:
The pointless thread began as another of Nat's numerous inanities, fated to become lost in the depths of Spam like most of his threads. It randomly coincided with an influx of newbies to Spam, however, and ended up being hijacked as a casual conversation thread for them - a subcommunity within Spam that differed immensely from the rest of Spam, which, ultimately, caused friction and drama and complaining on both sides. The original six or so newbies who blew the pointless thread up were joined by others, both old and new, their numbers incrementally going. The pointless thread eventually became one of the largest threads on RPG with, I believe, nigh on 40000 posts, before at long last being abandoned as its members either drifted off-site or integrated a little more fully with the rest of Spam. It received several necros before finally being locked for good.
- Halo, participant

"Pointless thread was a thread Posted by me to keep a lot of my pointlessness stuff inside. but then newbs came in turned it into a gross imitation of my creation, also it was the highest posted in thread of spam." Ever so often in Oldguild, people would try their hands at creating a persistent world - a forum dedicated to housing RPs in a specific setting, where the events of the roleplays would cause changed in the world at large. It failed every time. Miserably. If reading this gives you inspiration to try again, if you think you have some gimmick that could make it work -- you're wrong.
Eventually, I started a thread supporting the reoppening of forum 22 (On old guild, is was the number associated with the Persistent World forum's URL - it was a hidden, locked forum. If you edited the URLs, you could visit and read anything, but not post.) It was something of an ongoing joke. To pledge their "support" for the reopening of the forum, people said "It is decidedly so".

One holiday season, Contra Fates decided to, reluctantly, host an RPG Awards for the guild. Hank convinced her to go through with it. It got its own forum - Forum 55. There were a huge number of categories, from Spam King/Queen, Most Attractive Member, Most Improved Member, Funniest Member, Guild Clown, etc...
It played out like any superlative election -- it was a popularity contest. People were excited about the idea of being recognized and things went smoothly in all but one category - Spam Queen.
If memory serves, the candidates were: Contra Fates, Bunnay, and Yondaime. Halfway through the election, it became clear there were two real runners, Bunnay and Yondaime. Both threw themselves into the election, and garnered support however they could - asking old friends/rp buddies, spamming threads in spam. etc. Things got quite heated, and Bunnay took things very seriously.
As the election closed, Bunnay and Yondaime exchanged harsh words. Yondaime decided to stop the animosity caused by the drama of the Awards, and reached out to try and stop hostilities.
In the end, Yondaime was declared Queen of Spam.

One day youtube embedding was implemented into Oldguild. A few days later, I learned that autoplay was functional. Spam was then subject to dozens of these playing at the same time.
Toellner/Blitzkrieg countered with 3 minutes of train screeching.

Shortly after the release of MLP: Friendship is Magic spam became a battle ground between the bronies and their critics. There was much silliness and the drama could not be stopped. The section was quickly polarized into the Pony-Lovers and their opponents.

After Oldguild lost its advertising, a few members stepped up and donated to keep it running. They received Gold Membership, and access to special forums. Gold members could make posts only viewable by other gold members.
They had a name, now. Kiune, whoever that was. Her path was still clearly a trap. It was, however, now their best bet, in Mathew’s mind. The broken reflections of himself he found down the unknown path scared him - it spoke of even more dangerous, subtle magic, or of things even worse. Besides, there were six of them, and this one sorceress! Surely they had enough between them to overcome whatever trial waited from this Kiune. The two from the boat, who had been quiet for a long while, looked capable enough in a fight, the boisterous dwarf was itching to use his beloved crossbow, and their orange friend looked capable enough. To top it all off, they had their own magus! Surely the odds were in their favor.
Having convinced himself, Mathew forced a grin befitting a fearless adventurer, “You’re not calling craven, are you, Stotgar? If that’s how you feel, let’s go spring a trap! I can’t tolerate anyone thinking I’m a coward.” He looks back, “Besides, I figure between the six of us we have enough brains and brawn to get through whatever we find. If we’re brave instead of reckless, and cautious, we should be able to handle ourselves. Right?”
Without waiting for a response, Mathew continues, “Right. Trom and Hector, you’ve got the pointy sticks, so you two head in first. Stotgar, take up the rear. That way Matilda has some room to sing and you can keep an eye out behind us. Nadira, join him back there? I’m not mage, but I figure you’d prefer having some human cover between you and whatever we face. Stay alert, and try to keep us from walking in blind. If this is a magical trap, then you’re our expert. Great - any objections to that? Let’s go.”
Here goes nothing, Mathew thinks to himself before beginning to walks towards the center passage, stopping a bit before its entrance to wait for the others. Let’s see what kind of mess we signed up for.
