Appearance : Air of elegance surrounds Queen Aurora. When she walks, she seems to glide, every move looks like dancing. Her presence emits to all around her a want to respect and devote to her. Her chin does not jut forward, nor does her nose lift snobbily. She is the embodiment of royalty and elegance.
Name: Her Majesty, Queen Aurora Damascus Krishkov.
Age: 1.221 {That's like, really old!}
Personality: Aurora was a soft mother and close to her children, she needed to be to even out Dushan's toughness. A loving wife and a merciful queen, when needed. She was just, never sparing anyone who didn't deserve it. A rather wise woman and skillful politically she often remained quiet by choice, but when she spoke, her word was law. Highly respected among the Court and her family, she was an even-tempered immortal, always very judicial to her choices. She was a charming woman, known for her beauty and grace. She was kind, pleasant, and caring- though she also had the ability to be firm, gracefully commanding, and politically wise. Queen Aurora was a Queen who could steady the perils of an immortal kingdom with a word, and could calm the fear of her people with a look. She was intelligent, honorable and morally strong, and she always fought to keep that reputation. She loved her family, and respected their choices, but always spoke her mind in such ways that would not offend, yet make her points crystal clear. She was strong and could undergo much with grace. She showed maternal kindness to her children, and never would offend them or the king in public.
Bio: Aurora was not always a queen, as one can imagine; as she was not always Aurora. She was born in England, in a small village outside London, under the name Damascus Barnett. As the era suggested, family meant obey, take up responsibilities and work. In her patriarch home, surprisingly enough there were no beatings nor much violence even for her brothers. Damascus would take care of her siblings, help with the field work and feed the horse and chickens. One would say her life was not even near the hardships other children had to face at that rough period, where no tenderness nor care was accepted, or respected. That of course, paid back in time. November, that she remembered well. It was a french raid, drunk soldiers who were passing by on their way to London. The whole village was on fire, and red was everywhere, screams, french words and then, deafening silence. Damascus along with Tommy, the youngest of her brothers fled to London, and did not stop riding until the morning light. She spent the next few years in a tavern, facing cruelty, till then hidden from her clear eyes and words unheard in her virgin ears. She craved revenge, for all she cherished now lost in time. And it was certain at times, that nothing but this fiery crave kept her alive. All the tenderness and love was locked behind that vengeance, in order to stay alive, and not corrupt from the corruption and everyday torment she endured. One night, he came out of the blue, with hungry eyes and bloodlust streaming down his mouth. It was the last time she saw poor Tommy. She survived her wounds, turned into something beyond anything she had known before. Strength, and velocity, bloodthirst, and that fiery crave of vengeance. She was in France, and took her revenge. One by one, they all suffered terrible deaths. And after that, Damascus needn't feel vengeful no more, the fiery crave had died out, not in vain, but to let the dawn slide in her veins. Aurora, would be her name from now on. She explored her new life, and found herself fixated by crime. No more were known to the public or the present royal family about those three centuries; that was as long as the criminal days lasted. After that she proceeded to travel vast lands, and met people good and bad. Her time with the amazonian tribes helped her, the shamans led her back to her locked tender feelings, and as she brought out the kind, pure Damascus she once was, Aurora followed her wisdom in many eras, in foreign lands, in search for more of her kind. Collecting memories and knowledge, she became a strong, yet soft immortal, seeking for a home, in the end tired after centuries of wandering. When the time came to meet Dushan, the wandering was over.
Likes: Aurora held a vast appreciation for painting and music, while she wasn't good in neither of them. The Queen favored crows and nightbirds. She enjoyed attending public events and theatrical plays. Reading in the garden was a delight, just as political issues.
Dislikes: Aurora despised fire, and had a fear of losing her loved ones due to the brutal way she lost her human family. She wouldn't watch any sparring between her children or the King.
Extra: The Queen had a secret from all, criminal past. For nearly three centuries she was a gang leader, swiping banks and killing in the name of money, power, what you will. Her crime fixation never vanished, but along with the crown she knew she had to forget this side of hers for good. She kept it a secret from everyone, even her family, she couldn't risk her reputation and the trust the immortals had in the Krishkov family. Some, she even had to kill for her secret side to remain a secret. None knew about her, but Mahzun. A relative from old times, whom she could not get out of the way for as a royal family member everyone would notice. With a silent deal, she would cover his bloodthirsty acts of cruelness, and in return, Mahzun would protect the Queen's Name of virtue. In reality, Aurora liked Mahzun, in some strange way, he reminded her of her good old days, long forgotten now. Nevertheless, a fear of exposure always lingered in the back of her mind, and she always had to be alert, for any old 'friend' who knew about her would easily threaten or expose her for personal benefit, be it rank, money, blood, what you will.
