"I'm free", she said, bewildered. As she sprouted her wings. "You are", he answered, smiling. While hiding all the strings.

I don't think she'll interfere, just be a nuisance. I mean it does come down to the fact that she is expendable... and she should know it :P

Dawww Sep, you'll make her cry D': Lol yeah, she'll certainly watch out not to anger him too much. Just a little.
Meep! I'll let her behave o.o'

....*mumble*To a certain extent >_>*mumble*

Oh! And after the Invasion is finished, one of the Representatives can be a comic relief as well -to a certain extent- since Dung Suk (the drunk Representative who missed the Coronation due to a hangover) is a follower of Zhu-yƬ [who is basically the god of tits and wine, for those who have watched GOT].
Meh >:I

We can still make the mood light, for example Tyrell and Myth are a bit of a comedy relief.

Fair enough, Marcus is kind of the clumsy sidekick, Twinkles is the Drama queen... I think our whole fellowship will be a comic relief xD

Oh, and don't forget Numiel, being the vain fun-seeking person she is, I think I'll personally have a lot of fun writing about her xD
In Da-Hyuni lore, there is something mentioned like 'A great terror', which is why they fled to the western Isles where they still live today. I was thinking that that 'great terror' thing could be the same that wiped out the old Kingdom, but I'd rather not specify it since I don't think Sparks is intending to let us know why the Kingdom disappeared exactly xD

I think the Dynasty is rather high on their list of Evoker-We-Want-To-Kill rofl xD But yeah, they'll first need the support of more than only Oragos, the Adrany Protectorate and Da-Hyun before attacking a nation as powerful as the Dynasty.

but we know Sparks likes having things slightly less serious.

I'm afraid that it's too late for that now ._.'

ok, two quick questions for that lore, Alida...One, is this hard-coded and proven, or is it what the Knights of Idris believe? Two, do you have suggestions for how we all can use this lore and other lore to make this RP less deadly serious?

1. These are just the myths the Knights believe in, though they could have a core of truth. There was no doubt something terrible that wiped out the Old Kingdom, so who knows if it were the true gods.

2. I'm sorry, I love details and seriousness so I'm not sure x'D Do you have any suggestions yourself?
Ellri said
Looked like that. And that is a pretty decent concept, we'd say.Sparks: Is there someplace the church of Idris is described well?

I've been working on that with Sparks (or at least I gave some suggestions lol) As far as I know he's still working on it.

A short summary so far is that the Knights of Idris believe that the gods created men equal and that the conceited first creators of relics in the Old Kingdom attempted to become gods themselves. The true gods, angered by this blasphemy, wiped out the Kingdom, but perished after fighting amongst themselves. The Order has been given the mission by the Eldest, the first and last god, to destroy all relics and their users, to create equality once more and to bring peace to Azukhar. Their goal is rather noble, though they use rather un-noble means to achieve it.

Forest goers, heed my call! We are without guidance, direction! As we all know we were there for Artemis... and now Artemis is GONE!I propose new direction, new guidance. Shall we have inexplicable fate drive us together and from there we can journey forth?

I can agree to the idea of a fellowship!
Numiel's chambers,
Niwey em Netjer

On the western side of the palace, a large, bright room was filled with expensive furniture and people. Most of them were slaves, men and women who were running back and forth to please their mistress with whatever it was she desired. On the far left side of the room stood a large gilded canopy bed, where a few slaves were still sleeping. The goddess who dwelled in these chambers didn't mind some of them sleeping in, she had more than enough slaves to serve her and satisfy her needs. Strewn about the room were cushions, in all sizes and shapes, and several of the goddess' favourites were seated on them. They were talking softly and laughter filled the room from time to time. The room was opened to one side and looked out over the palace's lavish, colourful gardens. A few musicians were playing a pleasant tune which intertwined with the soft murmur of voices and the chirping of birds. Two slaves flanked the sofa the goddess herself was lying upon and waved cool air in her direction. It wasn't even noon yet, but the sun had already begun heating the palace.

Another slave plucked a grape from a bunch and handed it to her. Numiel sighed with delight as she let it drop onto her tongue. The fruit's soft flesh spread its quenching juice over her tongue and she slowly licked her lips, letting out a soft moan of delight. She smiled slightly and could barely hold back a laugh as she looked up at one of the male slaves' cramped expression. She was consciously thinking about her every action. Controlling what effects her actions and appearance had on others was a little game of hers she liked to play. This summer had been an exceptionally hot one, but the grapes were still plentiful and sweet. Numiel and her brother's combined efforts, had prevented a famine and the memory of that minor victory over Mareth made the grapes taste even sweeter. Numiel chuckled softly and stretched out while yawning. "Life is good, is it not, my little ones?" She said, loud enough to be heard over the noises in the room.

Smiling faces turned her way and as one, her slaves answered. "Yes our Goddess."

She laughed heartily at their synchronised answer and elegantly put one of her feet to the ground. A smile curled her lips as she took notice of amount of time the men's gazes lingered on her body. Unless she showed herself in public, Numiel preferred not to wear any clothing but her skin and jewels. It made her feel pure, free and in control and she liked to think that her powers worked better that way. Naturally, the goddess of fertility felt no shame of her body and more importantly, clothes only got in the way of... more important things.

She was just about to go and take a stroll through the gardens when her chamberlain entered the room and bowed down to her. With a swift hand gesture, she let him raise to his feet.

"Speak, my dear Jahi. What is it you have come to bring to my attention?" "My lady. A messenger of Lord Kheris stands in the hallway, with a message for you personally. Lord Kheris requires your presence during today's ceremony."

A beautifully shaped eyebrow was raised as Numiel let that information sink in. "Only me?" "No my lady, all of the gods are required to be in his presence." Numiel smirked at the hope that had sounded in her question. And turned around to a group of women who sat near the gardens. "Naturally. Tell the messenger that I will join our dear lord shortly and that he need not send for my brother. He already knows." The chamberlain nodded curtly and left the room to inform the messenger. He knew that when his mistress said 'shortly', it would take her at least another two hours and of this he would inform the messenger.

Numiel gracefully clapped her hands together, resulting in the immediate attention of all those present. "Little ones, lord Kheris requires my presence during today's ceremony... For whatever reason he sees fit... You know what you should all be doing now. Leila, let the bath slaves know and see to it that your sister and her friends wake up in time to tend to my hair."

With another clap, the slaves dispersed, to ready the baths, prepare the oils, put the appropriate jewels and gowns on display for Numiel to choose, amongst a thousand other things they would have to do to make sure their mistress would be prepared.
Throne room,
Niwey em Netjer

The Throne room almost empty and Numiel noted with relief that it would be a while before the ceremony would start. Usually, she liked arriving a bit late, to add some flair to her entrance and lighten the solemn mood that usually hang in the palace. Today however, she knew Kheris would not be pleased if she demanded too much attention and angering Kheris was not a wise thing to do, not even when being a god yourself.

As she walked through the large hall, she noticed Kheris standing on the small podium upon which the throne stood, together with her brother. She knew that he would be here already, but she still clicked her tongue as a small sign of her irritation. Now Nuriel no doubt already knew why Kheris had demanded their presence. She walked up to the two and made a slight bow for Kheris. Only when he gave her permission, did she raise her head. "It is a pleasure to see you my dear lord Kheris, as it always is." She couldn't completely get rid of the hint of bitterness in her voice and eyes. Her words were honeysweet, but the way she stood betrayed her feelings. When speaking to others, she would at least make sure her feminine curves were even more visible than they usually were under her deep purple ceremonial gown, but in the presence of Kheris she didn't bother doing so. After all these years she knew better than that. Her head cocked slightly and a sly smile formed on her lips before she continued talking.

"But tell me, my Lord of Lords. Why would you require the presence of your fellow gods? It is not us the people swear loyalty to, but you, if I'm not mistaking?"
Merci ^_^
Sparks! Here are two npc characters for you to judge once you get back :)

Name: Numiel
Age: Somewhere around 600. After some time, details such as the passing of time become of less importance.
Gender: Female
Relic Description: Numiel her relic is supposedly one of her many jewelries, she never told anybody but Kheris which one exactly. Her relic allows her to interact with minerals and such, no matter where they are. She usually uses those in earth, but theoretically she could alter a body when she focuses enough.
Skills:[/b] Her womanly charms as well as her eloquence. She has always loved to wind people, especially men around her pretty little fingers and thus politics are one of her hobbies. Numiel is also said to know a thing or two about potions and poisons, but she hasn't really used that knowledge that often... recently.

Background: The only accessible information about Numiel her past is known through legends. It is said that a long time ago, when the world was young and the people were weak, a terrible plague ravaged the lands where now the pride city of Niwey Em Netjer stands. When all died and hope seemed to be lost forever, a heavenly light appeared and the gods themselves descended from heavens. They had looked upon the fragile humans and taken pity on them. Kheris, the god of gods, solemnly swore to deliver the people from evil and so it happened. Numiel stepped down from her heavenly throne to tread upon the soil of Azukhar, and everywhere she went, life followed in her footsteps. From that day onwards, the humans served the gods who had saved them. Many scholars outside The Dynasty have however noted that these legends are presumably nothing more than that; legends.

Facts can confirm that Numiel has ruled in her district in the fertile South Western district of The Dynasty for at least two hundred years. The commoners love her and know her as a beautiful, kind and just ruler. A peculiar thing some scholars have taken note off, is that revolts in the Western districts are always followed by natural disasters and several theories on the subject are circulating in the academic community.

Appearance:
Motivation: Maintaining her comfortable lifestyle, accumulate more power but foremost, she seeks to enjoy herself.
Theme Song:

Name: Nuriel
Age: He is fifteen minutes older than Numiel.
Gender: Male
Relic Description: As with his sister's relic, it is unknown what form Nuriels' relic has. Some even believe that he doesn't have a relic at all that he is simply a brilliant man whose life has been prolonged by Kheris. It is however remarkable that all the new technology comes from his ideas. For example, the winches and pulleys, which are all around the city are one of his brilliant promptings. The barge system as well as the design of the cities and palaces in The Dynasty are born from his thoughts. Overall it is thus believed that surely possesses a relic and one of the most likely theories is that his relic gives him an extraordinary memory as well as the possibility to see connections between things which others cannot. [In other words, he is capable of easily extracting information from his long term memory.]

Skills: Even without his relic, Nuriel is an extraordinary intelligent and wise man. He has lived for a remarkably long time and in all of these years, Nuriel has learned many skills and visited many places in the world of Azukhar. He speaks many languages, he knows a great deal about architecture, he is a skilled musician with various instruments and knows a lot about the flora and fauna as well as the laws in this world. He also possesses knowledge regarding various fighting techniques and weapons, but while he will be able to defend himself, this is one of the few subjects which he is not interested in and so there will be but a few who cannot best him in physical combat. It is said that once he learns all there is to learn about the world, Nuriel will pass on his knowledge to mankind and cease to be.

Background: Even less is known about Nuriel than about the other gods. He is barely mentioned in the legends and prefers to keep his secrets to himself, save for his inventions. Nuriel is known as the god who has steadily improved the lives of the people of The Dynasty by introducing new technologies. Aside from this, he provides counsel for his fellow gods and rulers from time to time and rules over the north-western district of The Dynasty..

Motivation: Gathering more knowledge
