Current I'm back for now. No telling when my laptop will die, so if I disappear suddenly, that's why.

Bio

I made this account, like, a year ago. I made it specifically because I wanted to RP as a particular Halloween themed character, but then I never did. Now I have more time than I'd like and nothing I really want to do other, so it seems like as good a time as any to revive this infant account.

Currently looking into The Ordinary Mythical Academy. No other RPs as of yet, still looking. I don't really have a preferred RP type or anything, kind of more of a case by case thing, though I do prefer to play as non-humans if possible. If you want to see some of my art, you can head over to my Tumblr page.

Get lucky and you might see one of YOUR characters there. ;)
If you want, that is.

Is the two avatar state canon? I never finished Korra. ^^'
@KatieKat88

Sure. The backpack was just part of the character, mostly, but I'll take it. 'w'

Maestro 01

Maestro 01 stood still. Static even. It waited exactly one minute for either the bartender to respond or for the patron it had joked with to laugh. Neither of these things happened. It looked around, trying to assess why no one was paying it any attention. The bartender seemed busy fetching drinks for two individuals who had actually ordered them. He likely hadn't heard Maestro. Turning to the patron, Maesto realized that it had tried joking with someone who was passed out drunk. In a virtual bar. "Sooo... you're paying for a VR service to go to a bar... to not be aware of the bar that you're not in." Maestro commented to the sleeping patron. They didn't respond.

Not one to give up easily, Maestro 01 sidled up next to the couple that had accidentally stolen his one audience member and did his bit over again, line for line. Except this time, he cranked his volume up by one peg. Just one. "Hey, what's it take for a bot to get a drink around here?" It once again asked the bartender. Once again, it simulated a chuckle. "See, it's funny 'cause I normally can't process food or drink, not being built for it." It was sure to address the comment to the couple, this time. "But here, it's all information, so it all goes down the same." He was still in a good mode.

So, not to seem rude or anything, but, since you seem to be the only two who are active in this thread right now, do you mind if I shove my character into your conversation? I had intended to just leave my first post open ended so as not to disturb anyone's flow but, like I said, you two seem to be the only ones active at the moment.
I just realized I never actually posted as Allegro. Should I have him get there just as everyone is teleported, so he's not left out? Or should I just have him get there too late. It would be just his luck.

Nelos Oakleaf

The boy stopped short mid howl. Something was happening. Something not at all expected. The trees that he had asked to protect him began moving, but not their branches or even their trunks. While the top parts remained woven together, the roots pulled themselves up out of the ground, slithering this way and that, like snakes. Only these snakes were working together to move the boy and the girl in a singular direction. The boy continued holding onto the frightened girl as their tree cage rocked back and forth, before finally settling down.

The roots dug back into the ground thirstily. A moment later, the trunks parted just enough for another girl to crawl in, only this one wasn't a human, or a traveler as the boy knew them. She looked like one, but she smelled more like a cat. She had cat like ears as well. She sat down next to him and calmly introduced herself. Placing her hand on the "floor", she asked him his name. "I-I'm the Wandering Forest." He stammered, tears pooling at the corner of his eyes. "But mo-host t-travelers call m-me... Nelos. Nelos O-oakleaf."

As he spoke, the trees around him began sprouting large, soft leaves. He allowed them to wrap around him and the scared girl, his fright mostly turning to wide eyed wonder. "Are you a forest too...?" He asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Alright, just trying to wrap my mind around how that worked. ^^

The Prettiest Fairy of All glided through the jungle. The sun shone down in luminescent pillars, the leaves and foliage making shadow patterns on the thick underbrush. All of the leaves were vibrant greens while the jungle flowers made stunning rainbows of color. It would have been a paradise simply traveling between the mighty jungle trees, were it not for the swarms of insects that plagued the Fairy. I get they were trying to make it all realistic and crud... she thought to herself. But did they have to put bugs in it?! I hate bugs!!

To make matters worse, the trail of mutilated animal corpses, which were bad enough by themselves, had grown cold. It had been at least ten minutes since she saw the last one, and now she wasn't even sure if she was going the right direction. Frustrated, she had just given up and began looking for somewhere to sit, maybe reflect on whether it was even worth it just to get back at her brother, when she heard a deafening roar from not too far away. She flew towards it at top speed. Personal growth would have to wait, she had a monster to fight and a point to prove!

She sped through the jungle, feeling a rush of adrenaline. She was glad she was playing a fairy, able to move around just by thinking about it. She imagined this was what it felt like to ride a motorcycle.

The Prettiest Fairy burst through the tree line, and what she saw filled her with excitement. There was a MASSIVE lion, cat, thing, attacking two other players! One of them was a girl, like her, with an axe and a shield. She couldn't help but give the warrior a slightly judgmental look, the shield reminding her far too much of the kinds of characters her brother would play. The other was a man with a slingshot. Aside from the odd choice of weaponry, he was actually kind of cute. His stubbly face indicated he was a bad boy who didn't care about societal norms, not like the clean shaven pretty boys her brother would play.

The Fairy opened her spell book, a red target redicle appearing in her view. Since there were no other enemies in the area, it defaulted to the tiger, puma, thing. She thought of using same kind of long ranged attack, and the book's pages began flipping themselves. When they were done, one of the spells on the page glowed, rainbow characters wafting off the page. She aimed her wand at the jaguar, monster, thing, and read the words off the page, despite not actually knowing what she was saying. "Projectus Arcanus; Magic Missile!"

An orb of non-descript magic shot out of the end of her wand, traveling through the air in an arc towards it's target. It whistled like a fire work before exploding into rainbow sparkles against the cat thing's back.
