Got my wisdom teeth pulled. The worst part is not the pain but the lack thereof. Having numb lips is not fun :(

Cinder continued to quietly take steps around the halls in search of classroom A-1, and after a following the flow of the crowd towards the right portion of the building, he finally reached what he thought was classroom A-1. Before entering into the classroom, however, an afterthought to glance at the sign plate popped into his mind, and without moving his head, he lazily slid his eyes towards the sign plate. Immediately, he snapped his eyes in front of him once his mind had registered what he had thought was “A-1.” He couldn’t care less about signs, especially small trite letters.

When Cinder entered the classroom, his brain immediately took in the entire layout of the room at once without his knowing. The most prominent feature of the room was the single row of desks, six seats in total. In front of the desks was the teacher’s podium, and on the wall behind the desks were the chalkboard and clock, with a desk of books on the left and a board to the right. In each of the back corners of the room, Cinder saw mini palm trees that helped decorate the room. Within that split second, Cinder had instinctually internalize the layout of the room and its little detail before taking his second step.

Without taking notice of the other students, Cinder quickly briskly walked towards the nearest empty seat and sat down in it. As he finished making himself comfortable on the wooden seat, he propped his arms onto the desk and laid his head onto his hands. It would be a while until everyone arrived and sat down in the classroom, and as Cinder continued to wait, his mind began to wander.

“Was that memory a dream? I can’t remember who that man was. It’s all a blur.” As Cinder waded through his memories, another emerged from the earliest parts of his childhood. All around him, Cinder could feel himself coddled in a blanket while the bristling wind brushed against his face. Suddenly, the distinct cry of a pokemon mixed itself with the howling wind and continued to do so, on and on and on…

“Heeeellooooo!” A jolting voice said. Cinder moved his eyes upwards to a female student. “Yeah, I’m talking to you! All the seats are taken up, and I’m the only without a seat! Somebody around here isn’t supposed to be in classroom A-2!” As Cinder heard A-2, his heart slightly jumped.

“Is this classroom A-2?” Cinder asked.

“Yeah, of course it is, silly! Didn’t you read the signpost right outside the classroom? It says ‘A-2’” Immediately, Cinder stood up from his chair and quickly began heading out the classroom. He heard that same voice again, but he didn’t know what she said nor did he care. As he was leaving the classroom, he saw the signpost, A-2.

“Ugh, fancy one’s and plain ol’ two’s always look similar when you’re not paying attention. Gotta get to class quickly.” Cinder thought as he retraced his steps to the bulletin board. In no time, he was faced with the bulletin board, but from there, he had no idea where his classroom was. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a girl student running down the stairs, hastily running into the direction opposite to classroom A-2. With a twirl, Cinder repositioned himself and quickly followed the girl, hoping that she would lead to the classroom. After a short run, Cinder arrived to the entrance of classroom A-1, just barely catching the trail of the girl walking into the the classroom. As if gliding, Cinder snuck into the classroom (all the while subconsciously analyzing the room), and sat down in the nearest empty desk. From there, he once again placed his head on his arms, and began reminiscing about other memories.
