Guten tag. Name's Althiel, or Al for short. I've been roleplaying for about five years now, and still pretty much suck terribly at it. My hobbies include memeing, slacking, gaming, being a weeb, and motivating myself to write and failing horribly. Wait, hold up... Where you goin'?! I was joking! Well... half-joking at least. I must say I've been pretty rusty these past few months. My penchant for being absorbed and addicted by various mediums tend to keep me away from writing, on top of being a professional slacker. Wow. Best introduction 11/10. Here's to praying you're still here.

So uh, I'm usually a pretty friendly fellow; sarcastic and will shitpost on your DM's for a living, but I like getting to know fellow writers more. That being said, I'm also a fragile individual who takes petty insults to heart and shakes like a tree whenever I get involved in some pretty heavy backlash or criticism. Please take care of and go easy on me, but don't be afraid to speak out if we're gonna have an issue. There's more to me, maybe, but you'll only find out once we have a civil friendship. That which primarily consists of memes. Lots and lots of memes.

Now that that's outta the way, roleplays.

To make it short and sweet, I'll summarize my preferences in a single sentence: "Althiel loves tropes, is a sucker for shipping, and primarily utilizes anime or art-styled characters as his Face Claims." Originality is great too, don't get me wrong. But the characters and plot that I tend to create rely heavily on tropes and try to make it as colorful as possible from there. Not a big fan of using RL Face Claims, as I haven't dived on that realm and not really a big fan of it.

As for genres, I favor romance (if it wasn't obvious enough by the above statement), adventure, modern, fantasy, supernatural or a mix of any of these which are fairly common. I can hop onto other genres if interest is high, but I generally end up sticking only in the aforementioned categories. Sci-fi is a bit much for this shallow fellow so it is, most of the time, a no-go for me.

I like to dabble on either one-on-ones or group roleplays, as I can have other people plot for me more heads are better than none. I can write me a good two-three paragraphs per post, so I can at least say with certainty that I'm immediate-level.

Er, I think that's pretty much it for me. At the moment, I'm in need of a motivation to write a character. But for that I gotta find a good plot first. Or perhaps we can work something out together? A fresh graduate set to follow in his father's footsteps as an Electrical Engineer. However, he personally has no love for the profession; in fact, his lack of ambition and motivation are two of his biggest roadblocks in progressing forward as a person.
Characterization & Conceptualization
What Do They Look Like?
A youthful countenance for his age. Scruffy, sanguine hair. Pale, blue eyes covered by a pair of trivex lenses. Tappei maintains a lanky yet featureless physique due to avoidance of physical labor. Delicate against low temperatures, he dons a long, frizzy, dark scarf around his neck most of the time.

What Are They Like?
Denoted as the resident class clown back on his high-school and university days, Tap is a silly and upbeat individual with a penchant for jokes, though he knows the boundaries between innocuous wisecracks and harmful harassment. Serious only when need be, his carefree stance towards life is how people would often describe him. This mentality pits him at odds with his workaholic father, who feels like he isn't taking life seriously. A bit immature and irresponsible due to being a tad too nonchalant, Tappei is still dependent to his mother who pampers him. He is also quite the spendthrift, going out and spending money on food even when their inventory at home is adequate still.

To cut it short, an undeveloped, free spirit unsuitable for the reality of being independent as a virtue to survive the struggle called life. He acknowledges his lack of motivation and direction as his great weaknesses, yet is still unable to overcome them due to his current state of indolence and despondency. Whatever he believes in, one thing is for certain; his efforts and convictions will be put to the test once he is burdened with the herculean task of saving the world.

What's Their Story?
Despite his negatives, Tappei isn't a dumbass; being academically above-average at best and barely passing his subjects at worst. In fact, he is quite skilled when it comes to memorization. When he actually tries, he gets the job done. Due to this, he was able to get through most of his school life with a fair bit of struggle.

Why Did The Wish Choose Them?
He lacks the incentive to take action for himself. He is perhaps the most passive character you'll find, and it would take nothing short of the lingering notion of death to get him moving.

What "Class" Will They Embody? Why?
Spellcaster - His small repertoire of spells only contain buffs which can only be applied to his allies. Cannot self-buff. At present, he has zero offensive spells. This reflects his passive nature and the willingness to let others do the heavy work while he uses minimal effort.
