Powers/Unique Traits: Pyrofaker: able to control existing fires and flames Med school drop out: knows how to patch up most wounds thrill of the fight: At times he seems to improve in battle the longer it lasts
Personality: Pre: David was almost always looking for either a good fight, or trying to keep track of the local supers, be they hero or villain. Some considered him to be unstable psychopath, witch is probable somewhat true, but he had a small amount of good in him.
Post: Now he tends to be more odd than a psychopath. Having to deal with fighting some of the people that he consider close has put has put he under a bit of mental stress. He distracts himself with thoughts of the present, though you can't hide everything behind a mask.
Mental State: below normal
Bio: Pre: David was born in Oklahoma City. His Mother was a politician, and his Father was The CEO of OG&E(Oklahoma gas and energy). He spent his younger years leaving the good life. Even though he was somewhat spoiled he manged to turn into a well mannered young man. When he found his ability to control flame David was in his first year of collage. He tried to live a double life, using the hero name Burning Hope and wearing a gray mask so his parents wouldn't find out. He managed to pull it off until his parents died during a fight between a hero and villain. This event changed him, making him slowly care less about good vs evil.
Eventually he dropped out of collage and found a group of supers, called The Associates, that shared his way of thinking. Joining with them, and changing his hero name, they would fight with the side they believed should win. Though he wasn't as powerful as others in the group he did his best to find ways to keep up in a fight. He would study powerful supers and look for ways to take each of them down in fight. Doing this didn't help his sanity, but he was hard to beat in a fight if you where a widely know super.
After a year with the group he left, stating that it wasn't his speed anymore. He still picked sides, but he tended to pick based on what would be more profitable for him. If a villain planed on trying to wipe the city off the map then he would jump to the hero's aid. Though he could go the other way, siding with the villain if he would get something he wanted from the endeavor.
Post: At first David wasn't bothered by the outbreak. He would help the heroes protect civilians, while taking what loot he wanted from now abandoned buildings. His first month of the outbreak was like this, until the group of supers he worked with found him. They had managed to not only all get turned, but also hunted him down. It was the fight of his life. For days he fought and ran, most the heroes in the city had moved away with the civilians. Though a few villains managed to lend a hand for a little bit, but they didn't stay long.
Eventually a very powerful hero group saved him. They managed to kill two of the five of them. The other three disappeared during the fight, but are rumored to be in Mexico. After the fight David roamed around the Midwest. The fight with his ex-associates had finally made him realize how much the world had changed, and how bad of a state the world was actually in. At some point he joined up with a small group in Kansas City, maybe it was time for him to start doing something.
