Could I reserve Cryokinesis and Umbrakinesis?
Lilith noticed Wyatt, another of the Gifted, enter the classroom and wave. She nodded and smiled slightly in greeting, before switching her attention back to Aisling. The red-haired girl was smiling happily as she replied,

"Thanks for the invite. I'd be happy to sit with you at lunch. I can't draw very well but I do play the piano well enough. I hope to find a new piano teacher so I can continue my lessons. I even have my own piano. I hope that where I am staying at will let me have it in the house. My grandmother is very ill and she sent me here for a while."

“Oh. I’m sorry about your grandma. I think it’s cool you play piano, I love music. I think class is starting now, though, so I’ll talk to you later at lunch.” Lilith’s hands had gone into autopilot while she was talking, and the basic features of the phoenix were done. She began pouring detail into the wings, making sure to look obvious, an exaggerated rubbing of the eraser on the paper, and a sweep of the pencil that was too large to be words.

The teacher would come in and see Lilith drawing, but couldn’t do anything since class hadn’t started yet. Then, when it had started, they couldn’t take it away because she always hid it under a piece of paper. They couldn’t move things because that would be an invasion of privacy. They couldn’t accuse her because she was a masterful liar. This only infuriated them. She also got good grades, not a straight-A student, but not terrible either. She would draw every class they had sitting down, and Lilith reveled in it.
Lilith started sketching out the basic shape of a phoenix hunched over, its wing curled around itself and starting to turn to ash. It would be so epic. She had done the basic outline and features, and was about to start the wings when she heard a voice say politely,

“Hello and excuse me but I was admiring how well you draw. My name is Aisling. I am new to Haleton." The sentence shook her out of the trance she was always in when she drew, and she looked up to see a girl long, red, slightly messy curly hair that framed her deep green eyes and freckled cheeks. She was slightly shorter than Lilith herself.

The words took a few seconds for Lilith, who was still recovering from her trance, to process. She offered the other girl a small smile. She seemed nice enough.

“Hi, Aisling, I’m Lilith. Thanks for the compliment; it means a lot to me. Haleton is a pretty cool town. I hope you enjoy it here.” Realizing she probably sounded like those creepy robotic hotel employees, she added. “Since you’re new, you can sit with me at lunch and I’ll introduce you to my friends.” Lilith hoped that she would. Then she’d have someone to talk to about actual important stuff, like art and music.
Lilith instinctively fingered her headphones as the bell rang. She sat with her ‘friends’, who were currently talking about some random guy they found ‘hot’. Originally, she liked spending time with them. They made up for Lilith’s coldness with warm, friendly personalities. Lately, though they had started talking about things she hated, and they had the nerve to call her Lili. She hated it.

She had spotted some other Gifted and gave a nod of acknowledgement to them. She looked back to her ‘friends’ and internally sighed. They were wearing pastel, skirts, shorts, and sparkly flip-flops. F*** my life. She had just thrown on whatever was clean. A black top with a gold Triforce on it, light blue jeans, and an electric blue hoodie with black sleeves. A far cry from the clothes next to her.

Lilith could hear them whispering, about how she’s such a loser and she shouldn’t be in their group. She didn’t pay them any mind. Getting up, she groaned. She hated her schedule. Goddamn World History first thing. Abandoning them and heading towards the classroom, she pulled her back pack up before it slipped off her shoulders. She quickly took a seat in the back, got out a pencil, eraser, and paper, and immediately started drawing.
Taking 1
Should I make a guy character? We're lacking them.
Name: Lilith Ayers

Age (15-18): 15

Appearance: Lilith is 5”7’, with black hair that she bleached at the ends, turning it into a honey-gold color. Her right eye is sapphire, and she’s blind in her left eye, making it a washed-out blue jean shade. She has olive-toned skin that looks a bit off, since she hates the sun and avoids it as often as possible. Lilith’s slim, and isn’t really picky about clothes, though she would never wear anything pastel, or a dress. Normally she just puts on a black and neon shirt with jeans and a hoodie, nothing really special, and she will only wear sneakers, unless it’s summer. She always has these electric-blue headphones on, because her ears were very sensitive to start with, and after she went blind in one eye, her hearing sharpened.

Personality: Lilith is very rebellious, though she only shows it in ways she can’t get in trouble for. She has trouble socializing with people, not because she’s shy; it’s just that she finds people rather dull and stupid. She’s more street-smart than book-smart, though she still manages to get good grades (Devil knows how). Lilith likes manipulating people, mainly because its fun and the idiots don’t know what they’re actually doing. Others might call her emotionless, but she just prefers to express herself in different ways. Even if she’s half-blind, don’t sneak up on her, especially on her free time. She’s probably drawing or plotting your demise. She hates it when people call her Lili.

Regular or Witch: Witch

Talent (Only for Witch, pick one): Umbrakinesis (Shadow Manipulation) and some other closely linked magic in the same type. (You know, shadows… death…yeah. But she can’t kill with a touch or anything. That’s godmodding.)

History: Lilith was raised as a Witch Hunter. Her parents were famous ones, and they always dreamed that she would be the same. Unfortunately for them, she turned out to be a witch at the age of ten, and they kicked her out. That was the one time her rebelliousness got her in trouble. Ms. Galeyard found her when she was beating up some teenagers who tried to sell her crack, after she told to f*** off and managed to stab someone’s shoulder with a shadow-blade she conjured.

Extra: She likes heavy metal and screamo, mainly because she can turn it down until it’s at a volume she can take, and it still sounds ‘loud’. It makes her feel more normal.
Interest
I'm interested. Is this like the magic from Harry Potter, or elemental magic, or trade-your-soul-to-the-devil witch magic...?
Name: Reyna Lilith Kingston

Gender: Female

Age:16

Primary Archetype: Somewhat Psychotic Rebel.

Secondary Archetype (optional): Emo Artist

Personality: Like Reyna’s primary archetype suggests, she’s a complete rebel that likes toying with people’s minds. She doesn’t really argue with teachers or anything, because she refuses to serve detention when she could be taking over the world, but instead draws on her homework while still getting the stuff done, which annoys the teacher so much more. Reyna’s also one of those artists you see around who complain that their art sucks and that they are seriously considering cutting off their drawing hand. She can be seen constantly walking around while drawing, having mastered the art, and if you dare look over her shoulder, she will rage at you. She likes reading up various torture methods. Chris McLean is her role model, and she dreams to be as evil as him.

Background: Born in England, then moved to America just to get away from a creepy stalker (he knew where she lived.) and because she wasn’t infamous enough to have an account on Interpol (like they ever caught her). Oh, and she got a scholarship to some random special art school there. Her family still lives in the British Isles, and she shares an apartment with her friend and some awesome Spanish dude who always makes them churros.

Personal Belongings (5 items max): Sketchbook, pencil case, cell phone, charger, switchblade.

What Makes You Special (optional/for fun): Stuff. Just stuff.

Description/Image: 5’7”, black hair tied back, cerulean eyes, ivory skin. Elfin features, including large, slanted eyes and a sharp chin. Reyna wears a baggy black sweater with the British flag done in neon, light blue jean shorts, and black boots with electric blue laces.
