'Ok...' She called, climbing further into the closet to investigate. By rummaging around inside a little, moving various things about, she managed to uncover a small control panel. 'I think I've found-'
But, hearing further commotion in the basement, Serene stood up, bashing her head on the door frame as she did. She winced, and made her way to the long and winding staircase leading there, peering down cautiously.

'I'm sorry, elephant what?!' Serene called after the Baron, but by this time, he was already gone. But hearing a voice behind her, she tensed and peered out from behind the closet door, the sack of weapons carefully concealed from the newcomer.

'A wolf?!' She took a few steps back and followed the Baron's gaze. 'Ah. Hang on a moment-' Cautiously, she began to approach the chaotic battle. Tensing up a little and slightly afraid of what was going to happen next, she stood in front of the two animals, waiting for an opportune moment to intervene.

'I see...' She looked up at him with a newfound respect. 'But I'm guessing you can't explain the way this place just appeared like it did?' She headed over to a nearby door, noticing that it had been left slightly ajar. After peering tentatively inside, she beckoned the others over. 'What is that?' She asked, her voice barely a whisper now as she stood squinting into the darkness.

'Woah. Um. Ok.' Serene looked down at Claudia's panther-form, surprised. 'I wasn't expecting that...' She turned to the Baron. 'Did you-?'

'Ok. But we'd better catch up with the other two. If whoever brought us here really is hostile, we're better off together. It may also be safer to keep moving.' She locked the door, just in case. 'You ready?' Without waiting too long for a response, she grabbed his hand and continued walking. If she was afraid, she didn't want to show it.
She glanced all around, taking in her surroundings and trying to figure out where to go next.

But what she didn't notice was the way the hallway was steadily getting darker.

'No thanks.' She whipped a small paper fan out from one of her pockets. 'I should be fine with this, I think...' She looked him in the eye before continuing down the hall, driven by her growing curiosity.
