Two figures approached Amai, she saw this vaguely since she was staring at the dusty cobblestone below. The two seemed to be acquainted, probably friends of some sort from a past game or in the real world. As they drew closer they exchanged words, maybe bickering? She couldn't really tell as her focus was on being silent, drawing attention to herself might push them to try talking to her. And that was the last thing she wanted happen,
Someone tapped her shoulder? This was the last thing she expected to happen, how should she react? Without thinking about her actions, Amai instinctually raised her head head to see who was tapping her shoulder with widened eyes and a red face. The first thing she saw was a fellow Nobelle girl with purple hair, she was the one responsible for touching her. Amai's response to this was a jolting motion backwards slamming her back against the wall behind her resulting in the girl bumping her head. It may have been a bit dramatic for a simple touching of the shoulder, but it was totally nerve wracking to her that it happened so suddenly, her heart rate increased and she began to breathe heavily. But quickly after this strange episode, she calmed down and looked past the girl to the dark-haired human male behind her. It was the friend of this nobelle, or rather, that was the vibe they gave off as they were obviously acquainted.
She moved her hand towards the message icon that she left out to use, just for such an occasion like this- pressing it lightly with her index finger and opening the text UI that had several options.
There were tabs; [Friend] [Party] [Local] and [Mail].
Amai came to the conclusion that the Local tab would work similar to voice chat, but would involve text somehow. So, she typed through the hologram of a keyboard that the UI created shortly below and a small window appeared in front of her. The window would be able to be seen by nearby players, and after she finished typing a few dots appeared before registering what she had typed and showing it to the players that approached her.
"Hello."
Is all it said at first, Amai liking how the system worked 'a lot'. Enough in fact to push her to type a bit more, communicating through text was so~ much easier than speaking, less stressful, less tiring.
"Anything I could help you with? Um... Or anything you'd like to ask me?"
She pressed enter, the keyboard disappearing and the window remaining in order for response, or until closed by the players themselves.
