Bio

~Angel Vicky~

Been a member of the old Roleplayer Guild since 2012 - I tend to do more Advanced. My favourite lore is Angelic (you probably couldnt tell by my name!), medieval, Ancient Rome/Greece/Egypt and Norse mythology. My fave writing genre is sci-fi and fantasy but I like drama, comedy, suspense and angst with a bit of romance thrown in!

I tend to do only 1x1 rps nowadays as they are less chaotic with less people, as they say "too many cooks around the pot". Here is my current interest check.

My Hobbies include: roleplaying (obviously!), astronomy, writing poetry, dance electronica music and raving, pets, video gaming, cosplaying.

"You know." Varia stood upfrom the seat at the console. "With all due respect Sir...dont you ever wonder about things - these missions?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "If you keep blindly following orders without thinking why its happening, you may just end up dead and you'll never even know what you were fighting for." She pointed out with a concerned expression. "So what ARE you fighting for? Not just because you're paid to. WHY are you HERE, Sergeant?"
"Then if its not either of those things. Then what IS it?" Varia asked the sergeant. "And more importantly...where is it?" She narrowed her eyes at the screen. He could be ANYWHERE.
Valentisha was brought out of her calm and meditative state by the sound of the shouting and the sound of an object being hit. She sat forward, bringing her legs down to the floor, her clunky boots making a thud.

She watched Aidan with her piercing blue eyes intensely. She waited for him to finish the ship's controls before asking. "Everything....all right?" She inquired with a raised eyebrow. She could care less about his 'feelings' but rather, she wondered if his emotional state could affect this mission. Anger could lead to making mistakes.
Val put her feet up on the edge of the console to take in the quietness and beauty of space. She always loved just to stare up with her own thoughts into the endless blackness. She never saw an empty cold abyss. She saw a vast expanse of wonderment. She placed one hand behind her head and relaxed back, waiting for the journey to be over. This was the only peace she would ever get between missions. And so she intended to enjoy the quiet while it lasted. For she never knew what tomorrow may bring - whether it may be her last day alive.

She did wonder how Aidan was going to be after reading his partner's diary. Would he be sad or angry? Whatever transpired between them before the end, it clearly affected him and it would do no good to bottle it all up. So she hoped as the two grew closer together as a team, he could come to rely on her as a comforting shoulder to cry on. And so she would wait for Aidan to open up. Although, if she ever did have a man cry on her shoulder for real she may just end up slapping some sense into him and telling him to man up. She smiled to herself upon thinking of Aidan's reaction if she just slapped him. She had her mischievous and playful side after all.

She tapped her foot lightly on the metal counter, listening to the sounds of the ships console. She was always on watch, always on edge for whatever may appear out of the blue. She never could quite relax one hundred percent.
Varia squints her eyes upon seeing the footage. "I've never seen anything like THAT before..." She shook her head at the sight. "Yellow blood? How odd." She peered into the screen pensively.
Ah right. Thanks for the idea ^_^
Whoo all systems go!! Wow did I really just say that like a nerd? XD
Varia shuddered at the thought. "So how are we going to detect these things around here? Do we rely on using the Xenos as bait or extra senses that we may need?" Although they'd never been successful in taming the xenos. Perhaps a mutual enemy either way may bring some way to work together just to survive. Varia sighed and put her head in one hand. "This is ALL we need..."
Sounds like my kinda man XD

Valkyrie took blow after blow, unfortunately without her shield. And that meant she was getting sliced and diced and scratched. Some of them too fast to heal over instantly. The power of the God's were not as quick as she'd have liked sometimes. Thankfully, Hulk took on Mastodon and got rid of him. But his almighty roar forced her to tremble and cover her ears in pain. Damned those Asgardian heightened senses.

But then she heard the alarm and panicked. She could fly fast but wasn't sure if she could make the blast radius in time. Luckily, Hulk had picked her up and scaled the air so fast with his jumps to avoid the blast. She had been sent in to rescue him but he ended up rescuing her. How the rides had turned. Valkyrie held on tight in his big strong arm, the feeling of flying so fast in the air was invigorating. She always loved that.

Upon setting her down before the massive green 'monster', who was really a big softie at heart, and no-one would ever really see that side of him often. Valkyrie's armour was partially hanging off, cut to pieces, her leather armour torn to shreds. Her bloodied wounds were starting to heal over slowly as her body glowed golden. Although, she had to kneel after taking such a beating from six highly skilled killers. She panted slightly and removed her winged helmet to reveal her long brown wavy hair, slightly frayed. "Thank you. For saving my life." Came a small smile from her lips and a tiredness in her eyes. A 'monster' would have left her there to die.

But she was still more concerned for his well being than her own, she could heal over in time but his damage was more from a mental torture. "Are you...alright?" She wasn't sure to call him Hulk, Doctor Banner or both. The SHIELD helicarrier had escaped the blast zone and started to make its way toward Valkyrie.

Finally, she used her sword to stabbing it into the ground and lift herself up by leaning on it and then introduced herself by placing a dainty hand on her chest. She looked too gentle underneath all that armour to be a warrior. "My name is Victoria." She showed no sign of fear around this hulking great creature, whereas most would have probably bolted from him by now. But she just smiled at him as if he were any other normal person. Like it did not matter to her. After all, who was SHE to judge? She was an Asgardian but not Asgardian? She didn't really understand herself let alone others with stranger powers. It is what it is.

"SHIELD sent me in to rescue you, but I think it was you, rather, who rescued me." She let out a light chuckle. She knew he wasn't all that bad despite what people had said or what she had seen. He was more -misunderstood-. He used to be a brilliant scientist, a good man, from what she heard, and he must still be in there somewhere.

"I can take you back to Australia if you want to be left alone again." She offered with a kind and gentle tone. Straightening herself out, clearly she was in some pain as she winced holding one of her shoulder blades, the wing seemed to be dangling as if broken. Once again, she seemed to know how he was feeling. Her empathy was a wonderful gift, heightened by the Gods. "Or anywhere else you'd prefer to go?" After all his Australia camp had now been compromised...
