Age: Apparent: 62 Actual:307
Race: Human

Dread Lord
Relations: To be Discussed?
General Activity: Marduk has spent a large portion of his mortal years perusing large collections of tomes, scrolls and historical writings or artifacts. This passtime has not been lost on the recently immortalized Necromancer, whom now sends forth his followers to collect and bring any and all writings of ancient dead empires and scriptures of the arts of Necromancy, seeking to expand his knowledge of the times that had passed by studying the tomes of history that currently contain material as to the current events, or interrogating locals to learn as much as possible of the current events.
Abilities:
-True Necromancy: Through the years that Marduk has spent in meditation and studying the art of Necromancy and the ways of using it, he has achieved a level of power over Necromancy that few could hope to rival. By ascending into his newfound state, Marduk has developed the ability to uniquely not only manipulate the Essence of the recently dead, by also manipulate the essence of creatures too weak to resist his powers. Able to convert living creatures into corpses fueled by his corrupted essence without much transition required other than a few short moments for the magic to take effect. Marduk is able to use Necromancy to certain levels where as long as he maintains a steady supply of powerful enough creatures dying around him, or a prominent source of life energy, he can restore expended essence by taking a moment to drain the lingering essence around him.
-Spells: Marduks years of studyng the art of the Magic of the Dead have given him a vast selection of spells to use.
Create Carrion Crows: Rather sadistic creatures really, Carrion Crows are large birds whose size rivals that of large creatures like the elephant or rhinoceros, depending on the number of bodies used to create them. These delightful creatures are swift fliers and are capable of swift attacks by swooping down to tear apart enemies and pluck an unlucky victim in their talons to carry them up into the sky to be played with by the murder of Carrion Crows that always awaits. A Murder of Carrion Crows requires a total of 200 corpses to create 10 Crows.
Create Fell Beasts: Unlike the typical spells used by all Necromancers, Marduk possesses spells that create greater husks of dead bodies infused with essence, causing the corpses animated by him to acquire a degree of semi-independence and coordination. This is most seen whenever he animates creatures like wolves or similar predators, as their bodies grow a degree larger and their fangs and claws are enlarged. meanwhile their mindsets still maintain a degree of their natural behavior, causing the animated corpses of wolves to hunt together and target the most vulnerable prey they are hunting. The essence that animates their bodies also promotes the growth of diseases along their body, causing injuries inflicted by their attacks to quickly become infected with various pathogens, accelerated and made even more potent by successive bites or strikes from more of his animated pets.
Arise the Restless dead: Marduk uses Necromancy to call upon corpses buried deep within the ground, whether complete or in pieces due their decomposition, to rise up and attack those who are enemies to him. The spell infuses a degree of intelligence into the animated flesh and bone to designate between that which is friend and foe, often the simple difference between what is living and which is not. Often this causes a large number of shambling corpses and skeletons to rise from the ground, wielding weapons they might have had upon their person when buried, while hands and skulls without the rest of their bodies gnash and claw at whatever draws close enough, seeking ot maul or immobilize anything that falls into their reach.
Icy Hands of Death: A favored spell that Marduk created near the end of his mortal life, this spell creates a series of black skeletal hands that float around Marduk, around the size of the limbs of most giants. These limbs are made of necrotic and entropic energies, causing most things they grasp onto the begin swiftly rotting and breaking down as they are drained of vitality and broken down by the hastened effects of the magic within the hands. The maximum number Marduk has produced with full concentration is a total of 13 hands, each one able to act full on its own and attack any threatening presence that approaches him. These limbs possess a great deal of strength as well, able to use the physical power of Marduk himself, allowing them to smash apart stone walls and crush bones in their grasp.
-Dread Lords Might: With the rise of Marduk into his newfound state, he has allowed his body to reach levels of strength that were near impossible for a human of his age and physique, allowing him to be able to have the strength to fend off most entities other than War Angels and similarly martial focused beings of strength.
-Miasma: Marduk is able to release a special type of vapor from his body that is infused with Necromancy, causing those to linger within a certain area around him to begin to feel their bodies weakening. The effects are not instantaneous but take course over time, causing more prolonged battles to become less and less likely to work in the favor of his enemies.
-Draining Touch: Marduks skill with Necromancy and merging himself with demonic essence has allowed him to develop a technique where he may drain the essence from others by placing his hands upon their skin, draining their energy from them via direct contact.
-Dread Curse: Marduk has a specialized form of Necromancy that is reminiscent to the curses created by the dying. This particular ability can only be used rarely, as it takes up a large amount of Marduks essence as he must release an amount to replicate the death of a powerful essence wielding creature. This curse manifests in numerous fashions, such as causing a vast region to be unable to naturally grow crops or the weather to be controlled in some way or fashion that is to the detriment of the environment. While curses directed at specific targets can cause growing levels of madness, insanity, hallucinations, or causing their bodies to become aged to a point that their physical power becomes painfully weakened. Such a curse can be removed via the use of powerful enough magic to dispel the essence that is tethered to the target location or creature, or by destroying an item that Marduk prepares to inflict the curse, such as a small doll made to look similar to its target to inflict the curse upon.
Equipment: The Bleak Talon: A Scythe imbued with a large amount of Necromantic power and infused in the same fashion as one would a staff, this weapon acts in many ways as a device for Marduk to channel his powers through, allowing him to infuse his magic into the weapons every strike. This has resulted in the form of the scythe to appear as if the blade were made of a strange otherworldly black metal that slices through armor with well honed ease. The wood that was used to make the shaft of the scythe was heavily enchanted to withstand great deals of force, making the act of breaking the wooden shaft to be something few could hope to succeed in whilst in the middle of battle with the deadly Necromancer and his pets.
The Gravemasters Robes: Robes that are as black as knight with silver filigree that was woven into every detail via magic. These robes provide its wearer a level of protection akin to a series of warding spells that replicate thick armor, allowing the wearer to move about with ease while not fearing their body coming to immediate harm. The robes may provide armor, but this does not mean they are capable of withstanding direct hits from powerful enemies, encouraging the wielder to not tempt fate by allowing just anyone to strike them with ease. The gravemasters robes also bear a strange series of sigils along the sleeves and collar, that when activatd release special spells that produce corpses that were stored within a magical space inside of the sigil. The robes may contain up to a maximum of 50 corpses, taking a minut elong process to properly place any single corpse back into their sigil.
The Grimoire Mortalitas: A Book penned by Marduk himself over the course of his mortal and immortal state, this tome carries within it countless results of Marduks experiments and discoveries into the art of Necromancy over his many years of life. Within are multiple rituals that allow the user to communicate with the deceased or even call forth the spirits of the deceased. A particular function that the Grimoire Mortalitas possesses is its ability to absorb knowledge from those whose bloody hand is placed upon its cover, allowing the book to gather any specific information involving Necromancy, death, or similar subjects within the person touching it, scanning their memories and past that they are aware of for such details.
