Bio
I'm 27, non-binary and slightly crazy. Been rping for a long time now! I'm pretty responsive since I don't have much of a life haha I'm also Gmt Happily taken so please don't send me flirty messages.
I've been roleplaying for a good 10 years now and I like to think I'm pretty okay at it!
I am LGBTQAI+ friendly! I'm queer myself after all haha
I'm happy to play any gender and open to any gender combination pairings
I only do fade to black if things get heated. I'm not very practiced in writing that sort of thing and I find it a bit uncomfortable
I only really enjoy playing OCs as I'm not fantastic at playing established characters that aren't mine. Youre welcome to play named characters if you want though
I'm a nerd so I'm happy to roleplay inside fandom worlds but I do also really enjoy creating and building worlds with my partners.
Things I'd like in my roleplay partners
18+ - Since Im in my late 20s I really dont feel comfortable rping with someone that young
Semi quick responsive - I totally understand life is busy and messy but I'm looking for people that can respond at least once every few days
No one liners - I'm not expecting war and peace haha just enough for me to bounce off of
communication - I totally understand if you're not super into ooc chat, however I'd like someone who is happy to talk ooc about the roleplay to help things go smoothly
Fandoms, role ideas, ect.

Mimas offered the strange man a small, almost apologetic smile at his reading trouble. "I got much the same letter from much the same woman. I can understand them seeking out a gentleman such as yourself for a mysterious job but I'm just a simple barmaid." She responded.
Her smile grew as she took his hand, giving it a firm shake. "A pleasure to meet you. I'm Mimas Nox." She greeted, her voice bright and welcoming. "I don't know about you but I have a feeling the job she wishes to offer us is going to either be unpleasant or dangerous." She paused then gave a small chuckle. "Of more likely both. So while I'm not overly..keen on whatever this job may be, I'm always up for free food."
Turning to face the gates as they opened, Mimas offered the elderly woman a smile. "Thank you. Lovely to see you again."
Mimas raised an eyebrow at the exchange, unsuccessfully suppressing a giggle at Garem's excitement to show off his dice. She tilted her head as she looked at them and raised an eyebrow. "I get the feeling that those dice might not be entirely honest."
Walking through the manor had Mimas spinning as she walked, trying to take in as much of the building as possible. She had always enjoyed the more gothic style and to her, the eerie atmosphere and decor were breathtaking. "By the gods, this please is beautiful."
It had been another rowdy night at the Hanged Man. It wasn't the most well-known or the busiest tavern in town by any stretch but Mimas liked it all the same. Most of the drunken patrons were regulars. A healthy mix of local dock orders, sailors and pirates filled the small building along with the smell of booze and the sea.
The bar woman weaved expertly between men that slurred and stumbled as they cheered, pulling a laugh from Mimas. She had a wonderful system in place as she worked. Talk to customers and take their orders, deliver drinks and collect old ones, collect payment and tips, rinse and repeat. It helped the tavern was set out in an almost U shape, with the middle being used as either a dance floor or fitting pit depending on the day.
She stood with her back to the bar, grinning at the alcohol-induced chaos around her. Mimas thrived off it and lived for it. She adored hearing about their adventures and the sea, it made her wishful for it. She had never set foot on a boat before, let alone be out on the sea fitting pirates and such. But by the gods, did she want it.
She sighed to herself and shook her head. It wasn't meant to be. Her talents lay in other, unused places.
Mimas was startled back to reality by a very out-of-place, elderly seeming woman suddenly appearing in front of her.
"I'm so sorry! You gave me one hell of a fright there darlin'!" She laughed, She opened her mouth to speak again but was quickly silenced by a letter being thrust into her hands. The barmaid tilted her head curiously and took it.
It took only moments for her eyes to skim across the beautiful handwriting. She didn't need to even think twice about her answer.
-----------
Mimas approached the large gate that separated the beautifully haunting manor from the rest of the world. Once again, she tilted her head in curiosity at the sight before her. It seemed as though she wasn't the only one to have received a letter.
The figure of a man became clearer as she approached, a smile growing on her face at the sight of the man. What an eccentric-looking man! Mimas could tell almost right away that he was going to be an interesting character.
"Evein'" She greeted. "I take it you also got an invite to some vague dinner party?"
At a glance, Mimas seems like your typical barmaid with short brown hair, tanned skin and eyes the colour of fresh honey. However, if one were to take a closer look, it would be easy to realise there was something not quite right.
Her clothes were made of cotton that was just ever so slightly too fine for someone of her pay, her jewellery too well made and her bag and belts made out of leather that was just too expensive. One might think she'd stolen these items but those aspects mixed with how well educated she was, it was apparent to just about anyone that she didn't fix the mould she was seemingly desperate to force herself into.
Outside of the peculiarities, Mimas had a sweet smile and kind eyes with the air of someone that was just too kind. Always with an easy smile and a light laugh, the woman was a breeze of fresh air compared to the rough dockmen and scantily dressed working women around her.
Mimas had a constant companion in that of her grey owl, a clever and protective creature that was never far from his master's side or shoulder. The pendant around his neck matched the collar worn by Mimas, the golden amulet had some sort of family crest but it was so worn it could hardly be seen on either of the necklaces.
Even with her ever-present smile, it was said that sometimes you could see a deep sadness in her eyes. A sadness of someone who had loved and lost, over and over again.
Personality
Always the free spirit, Mimas hated staying in the same place for too long. She jumped from port to port, easily getting a job in whatever tavern she chose. With her easy-going way and ability to put people at ease, it wasn't hard to see why it was easy for the barmaid to find work.
Although it was easy for her to make people like her, she always struggled to let anyone truly know her. Sure, she was an open book when it came to the simple things. Her favourite colour, what her drink of choice was, her favourite port, hell she was even happy to tell people how awful her exs had been, but anything deeper than that, you were better off trying to find Blackbeard's treasure.
Beneath her smiles and laughter and effortless ditziness, was an intelligence she kept very close to her chest. She preferred people to underestimate her, it had it that much funnier when she pulled the rug out from under them. Be it playing dumb playing cards and then wiping the floor with her opponents, to outwitting the smarmy noble that would occasionally try to talk down to her because of her station.
Outwardly, the woman was a ray of sunshine who could light up a room and make anyone's day just that bit easier. But, sunshine casts shadows and Mimas certainly had plenty of things that needed to be hidden in the dark.
Background
Mimas grew up as Luna Knight, the oldest child of the noble Knight family.
The Knight family were infamous for being ruthless and unforgiving. Crossing their paths in a negative context was a surefire way to have a target placed on your back, and the backs of every person you ever loved.
This was how Luna's family climbed the social ladder, killing or otherwise disposing of those in the way and never giving it a second thought. There were many rumours of the horrors the Knight family committed. One particular rumour spoke of a noble family that was slaughtered in the dead of night in the name of the Knight family.
Luna grew up with no knowledge of her family's evil doings. As far as she was aware, until the age of 15, she had a simple family. A loving mother, a doting father and a sweet younger brother. However, when she turned 15, this illusion came crashing down around her.
She had been too excited to sleep on the eve of her birthday, eagerly awaiting the morning and all the gifts she was sure she'd be given. Ever the impatient one, the teen had snuck downstairs in hopes of seeing her parents preparing for the next morning.
While she did indeed see her parents organising her birthday gifts, the things they spoke of would haunt her nightmares for years to come.
"Did you see how much blood that brat had? I thought it would never stop!" Her mother cackled with glee.
Her father nodded, chuckling in response. "Oh and the way his mother begged! Honestly, I am overjoyed I will never have to hear her shrill voice again! I am so proud of Felix, he did us proud. It's a shame his sister failed the pet test."
"Oh I know. I feared she would never stop crying over that stupid mutt. We should have killed him before she became so attached. But, she is a..soft girl. Better to keep her in the dark and marry her off as soon as we can."
Luna quietly ran back to her room, tears streaming down her face. This was not the family she knew and she refused to continue to refer to them as such.
The teen packed what she thought she needed and fled in the dead of night, Luna became Mimas, Noble became nobody and a beloved daughter became a missing child.
It didn't take long for Mimas to get a job cleaning tables and from then on, she was a tavern girl. Just another face in the crowd and if she had her way, it would stay like that.
That evening seemed to pass by in a flash. Everyone trying to find their place in the door rooms, unpacking and settling in. People making friends, letting family know what house they had gotten in. Before anyone knew it, it was morning the next day and classes were about to start.
Peony stood up and followed after Mark while trying to keep in step with Alexander. "I understand you're having a bad day so I'll leave you be. But if you need a friend, or an ear to bend. I'll happily be that for you." She whispered then sped up her walking.
