In Vampires 11 yrs ago Forum: 1x1 Roleplay
Giving the girl a once over, Ereba nodded. She indeed needed a change of wardrobe. Perhaps an explanation too. The vampire cursed her poor choice in words. Instead of raising the Ava's alarm, she'd rather have explained in a civil manner. Well, she'd have to get used to it sooner or later. "That's not a bad idea," she said. "One would have to wonder exactly what you were doing to look like ... that."

Standing up, the violet eyed woman looked around as she felt eyes watching her. There was no scent, which concerned her greatly. Enclave seekers were on the move. "We must leave here," she said. "I'm not sure how much you remember, but you're about to undergo a great many changes, New Born. We've got watchers hiding away in the darkness. You will follow me lest you wish to turn into a feral or be enslaved by them. I assure you; you wouldn't want either."

Without looking to see if Ava would follow her or not, she began to walk in the direction of her abode. Being an older vampire, her territory was given a wide berth by seekers and honored by the Enclave. She had friends within the vampiric society, but she hadn't want anything to do with them. They were a pompous bunch who ruled like kings underground. She wouldn't have that. Unlike most, she didn't crave the company of others. She just wanted to be alone. Unfortunately, this was a rare case. This child needed guidance, and she would give it if Ava had so desired.
Just a little bit ^^"

Honestly, your character can be from any background. That's entirely your decision! See, I'd like Worlds End to be an location versus an artifact. Kind of like an olden day computer if you will. There could an an object counterpart to it, but its more of a, 'choose your location and your desire' and stuff. Still deciding though. What do you think?

And thanks! It just seemed fitting! The name anyways ^^!
Maybe I should have posted the CS template xD! And good to have your Silver!
Naril, I have every intention of having the cast 'win', so to speak. However, darker elements will certainly be a factor in this storyline. I don't foresee this being totally bleak or depressing, but neither will it be perpetually optimistic and such.

Hopefully that helped clear some things up?
xD! Arlear, sorry dear, but this is a 1x1 ^^"
Myke! Hai :D!

Erhm ... not really a PM, but I think this should suffice for a casual shout out!
@Love: I totally hear ya Love! Been a little too busy to hit the systems, but for a few select titles, I try to make the time ^^!

I sent you something via PM by the way ^^!

@Silver: That Mass Effect interest check is up Silver! Now, it's time to play the waiting game I suppose >>...
Oh you best! I MISSED YOU, SCOUT, AZ, AND SO MANY OTHERS >:D!

Ahem, I'm trying to restart my Mass Effect storyline if you're interested in that at all >>... shameless advertising ...

Centuries have passed since the destruction of the Reapers and the death of Commander Shepard. Surviving an age of isolation, the sentient races finally succeeded in recreating the mass relays, which opened space once again. The Cathedral, the Citadel renamed, was soon after built. Unlike the previous history of councils, the current Council houses a representative from all races whom participated in the war against the Reapers: salarian, turian, asari, krogan, geth, human, quarian, and drell. With the new unification of the species, and the old hostilities put on hold, all galaxy species lived through a golden age of peace, which brought about growth and technological advancements.

It wasn’t long until the sorely sought after peace was shattered. Joint-species space stations had become the new norm. Built throughout almost all systems, each were pinnacle in maintaing order in their designated region. When stations began out of contact in Titan Nebula, the Alliance responded to the Council’s sanctions and sent a reconnaissance. Expecting a report logistical error, the Cathedral became ever more alarmed when the Alliance recon team failed to report it. Soon after, a human colony disappeared and the team sent there disappeared as well.

Learning from the past, militaries were once again called forth. The unannounced fear of another greater enemy slowly crept into the mind of all Council members.

It wasn’t long until they finally revealed themselves. On every galaxy channel, in every system, the following warning was given to all:

Long have we slumbered in dark respite.
What you have learned to fear, the Reapers,
They have feared us. Their very existence pales
To us. We are Legion. We are many. We are the destroyer.
We are the arbiters. We are the executioners.

When the transmission ended, the Council wasted no time in disputing the validity of the threat. Whatever threats had anything thing to do with the Reapers, they responded with the only logical decision. The races all prepared for another war. Be it a hoax or not, they prepared. What research was put into domestic was once again swung in the favor for military might. Though the races were still feeling the effects of the last great war, they mustered all they could in preparation for the next.

Part of the military buildup directive, the Council created a new shadow group. Made up of all races with only the most elite considered for recruitment, Echelon, led by the illusive Directors and Council, was created. Armed with the best equipment that the galaxy could afford, these souls would be the vanguard against Legion. Their directive grants them total autonomy with regards to using any means necessary to prevent or hinder the Legion’s advance.

Centuries had passed since Shepard’s conquest over the Reapers. Again, the strength of the Council’s species are being tested by an enemy who claims dominance over the greatest threat sentient life has encountered yet. Will sentient life prevail or will the galaxy burn?

The year is 300 A.R.

Hello all,

Before the old guild crashed, I had this Mass Effect storyline going, which I really don’t want to let die. To that end, here’s an interest check in hopes of garnering new and old members. Though only a shadow of the former interest check, I hope its enough to peek some interest. As I did with the other one, I’m only looking for six total characters. If there’s a large amount of interest, I’ll post up more information.

Anyways, hope some of y’all find this interesting and looking forward to seeing who’ll join me on this story ^^!
Icarus is such a cool name though xD!
