I'm very much on the fence right now. Given that this is extremely far into the future, what kind of technology are we talking about? Mass Effect level technology? Perhaps more advanced or more basic? Also, how close will this story adhere to realism? For example, will each character be a walking tank (forgive the imagery) or an average person caught up in the storm of events? How will this storyline start? Will there be communities or is everyone simply wandering?
Threw a wink in your direction Pluto! Hopefully Makoto doesn't hate on Amaya too much now ^^"

Edit: Morooka is a very evil little man >:(
Amaya wasn't really sure how she felt about her homeroom teacher. Mr. Mokota was the complete opposite of her junior high teacher. Nishimura sensei was the nicest person ever. Whenever Amaya was feeling down or just panic stricken, the woman always knew what to say to calm her down. Mr. Mokota totally did not give off the same vibes. While she did think he was a stuck up prick, she thought she felt something else about him. There was something 'soft' underneath the abrasive exterior. It gnawed at her like a rash, but she dwelled on it no longer. She didn't need to up the crazy factor at the first day of class. Nor did she want the other students to know either. That would've been terrible.

She felt a light tap on shoulder as she turned around. The next teacher hadn't come yet, so a little bit of chit chat couldn't hurt. The tapper was Silus. She smiled when she heard his 'favor'. "You're doing just fine," she said. "But yeah. I'd be happy to point things out. If you don't mind? Um, not all teachers are like that. Mr. Mokota that is. He sounded so condescending."

She shrugged as she looked to survey the rest of the class. It seemed everyone was beginning to mix together except for a select few. Her eyes came to rest the girl who had kicked the blond kid earlier. She waved in her general direction. Even if she may be a delinquent, there was nothing wrong with acting friendly. Right?

Her violet eyes flickered back at Silus as she caught him appraising her. Her cheeks turned a subtle tinge of light red. "Um ... So Silus, is this your first time in Japan? What made you come here? Mr. Mokota said you were English, right?"
Oh my, I'm going to stay out of this meta thing that's going on xD!
NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Why did it have to be him of all teachers?! OMG >.<
Haha oh my xD! What an epic OMG lol.
:(!!! I can delete me post xD?
Amaya could hear the accented words. She smiled as he finished talking. "You speak it well enough," she said slower. "Some of the foreigners I see visiting can barely speak a sentence. It gives the shop keepers a bit of grief."

Blushing slightly from the boy's smile, Amaya eyed the outstretched hand as she hesitantly reached out to take it. It must've been western customs to as such when greeting she thought to herself. "You're doing just fine. You'll pick more things up the longer you're here," she said. When she heard he was in the same class as her, a smile creeped across her lips. "1-G is it? That's where I'm headed as well. Come on follow me then. I was able to walk the school before coming. Oh, and it's a pleasure to meet you Silus. I'm Hayashi Amaya. You can call me Amaya."

With that, she motioned for him to follow as she walked towards a hallway leading to 1-G. On their way, she noticed a few club recruiters out an about. Though club sign up was scheduled to be at noon, some were trying to get a job on the first years. As she passed a number, her eyes immediately zeroed in on a sign that declared the two girls holding the sign was from the dance club. She fought the urge to go see them immediately. Dancing was the one thing that helped the anxiety. Helped her paranoia.

"Thinking about joining any clubs?" she asked Silus as the door to 1-G came into view. "Great way to meet folks. And practice your Japanese as well! Anyways, we're here."

She walked in after another student had kicked a blond student out of the way, she rose an eyebrow and decided not to get involved with what happened. Gingerly walking past them, she found her seat. It was in front of a blue haired girl whom was doodling and talking to another student. First row with a window-side view. Not many would want it, but Amaya didn't have a problem with it. If the teacher called on her, she was confident she would be able to provide an answer.

"Well, Silus," she said. "Welcome to 1-G. For now, just pick a spot anywhere. There wasn't a seating chart from I could see. Hopefully it stays that way too!"

Placing her bag on the desk, she slid the chair out and took a seat. She looked back at Silus. "On a more personal level, welcome to Johnon Academy. To Japan even. I hope you enjoy it here."
Okay! A post is up. So, a few things.

I have two new characters entering, namely, Ash's and Archangel's. I think there was a third person, but I can't find his or her CS. In any event, go ahead and post you two. I'll PM Dingo. I think that was the person anyways.
The Prime unit was the first to speak up. It did have a point. Or was it he or she? She wasn't sure due to our Geth units were given an extremely high level of intelligence and personality from the Reaper wars. She had read in the history books that almost every single sentient race were in uproar from the Commander's actions. However, though some still had trouble accepting their new allies, Sophia began to saw them as an asset. Given that two units made it through Echelon's screening, they must've had their merits.

Thinking carefully on what Prime voiced, a plan began to formulate. "In the unlikely chance that a fallback is necessary, you are all to make your way back to your insertion points. By all rights, they should be secured by Bear. However, as events change, it'd be best operating under the assumption that each landing zone is hot," she said. "In the unlikely chance that a landing zone becomes compromised, the shuttles have orders to relocate to the hangers. The schematics shows multiple choke points. Easily defensible and the middle of both objectives."

It was after she was done answering Prime's question that Phalanx chimed in. Sophia nodded in agreement. "To the best of my knowledge, the ventilation and many of the rooms contain sensors. Cameras for the rooms. When we activate engineering along with the bridge, we'll be able to utilize these to pinpoint any traffic areas. If there are survivors - or enemies - we'll know about it. As you said, Phalanx, we should consider both target areas hostile occupied."

Before she could go on, Sira materialized on her platform. "Pardon the intrusion Captain Silversten," said the AI. "There has been a change in personnel."

Sophia rose an eyebrow. Then looked to all whom were present. "Clarify."

"We have three more crew members joining us. They are headed for the ship now."

Sophia sighed as she activated her omni-tool and looked for updates. Low and behold, three names did show up. A Krogan, Drell, and then a blank. Why the hell was there a blank on the third name? Feeling frustration flush through her, Sophia deactivated her omni-tool. "Sira, guide them to the conference room immediately."

"Yes Captain."
