I'm really sorry to see you go Grim. Thanks for giving us the heads up.

That is correct NacNak. If you choose that route, please do make a race that could feasibly exist in the ME universe. No Flood or anything.
Persona sounds fun! Which one in the series did you have in mind?

Ereba heard it all as they promptly crossed a street. The craving for blood was the strongest desire her kind could have. If she could draw a parallel, the narcotics humans used would be the closet of comparisons. At the same time, it was different. Unlike drugs, blood was a necessity, the only way to live. Ava should've considered herself fortunate. While she was quite composed, others in her position would have went on a frenzy. The initial thirst was never kind.

"The Enclave," Ereba said as they neared a large tower complex comprised of individual lofts. She could have gone anywhere in New York. Even afforded a home in the most affluent of neighborhoods. It was her love of the busy city life, which kept her in these cramped quarters. Plus, she would hardly know what to do with all the space. "You'll learn to know - respect - them soon enough. Think of it as your new identities government. Whatever they will, you'd do well to listen. I can't go into detail here, nor can I prove to you what I'm saying is real."

Taking out a card from her handbag, Ereba swiped it across a card reader, which let her inside the lobby. After general hours, her building went on lockdown. Only those with keys could get in - outside of breaking the door of course. She put the card away and promptly pulled Ava inside.

"All I ask is a bit of faith," Ereba said as she pushed the two of them into the elevator. As the doors closed, she saw several figures standing outside, the look of anger and suspicion clear on their face. The elevator doors beeped as it began its quick, smooth ascent to the highest level. She took in a deep breath of air. "You can't go back to living the same way anymore, dearest. If you choose to leave, I shall not stop you, you'll find out first hand upon dawn's rise."

The doors opened as a small room with a single door rested at the opposite end. The top floor was hers, which had cost her a handsome amount of currency. With her eccentric habits, she could ill-afford any noisy neighbors hearing. It would have proved unfortunate for her if it was reported and for them.

She walked out and turned to stare at Ava. "Come," she finally said. "You'll use some of my clothes and we'll throw yours into the wash. I suppose you'll have questions. New borns who're fortunate to live past their first hour typically do."
This caught Lightning somewhat unaware. Still remaining suspicious of the new comer, she turned to stand by the throne's side. "I wouldn't be surprised if there was a middle," she said, "though you'd be the first I've seen.

The pink-haired sentinel stood ever silent as she listened to what else the girl had to say. When the stranger was done, she spoke, "I wouldn't say I'm the only one," Lightning said. "Spirits still reside here, guardians such as myself. If they're human though, that's where it gets tricky."

Lightning wondered just how much she should share. Honestly, she couldn't help but get somewhat excited that another human being - other than Caius and the paradoxes whom she fought constantly - had entered into this tranquil world. It also made her sad, for if the girl was here, then she must have departed from the world of the living to come to a place like this. That last part was impossible though. If Etro slumbered, what could have guided her to Valhalla? It was Etro whom brought Lightning here; she hadn't come on her own accord.

"What's your name?" Lightning asked as the silence grew uncomfortable. A first for her. "If you were with him, I'd have sensed it by now. The Chaos taint isn't the most subtle or ... pleasant."
@Silver: Not everything revolves around you! Gosh >:P!

@Stryder: That one's perfectly fine. It's believable and definitely ME-esque in a way!

Question about your history, given that this takes place centuries after the Illusive Man, I'm not sure if Cerberus would still be around. Unless these Spartans somehow have prolonged life?
I think I should mention something about the technology with regards to armor. Given that growth and various innovations could have potentially occurred within the rebuild, armor would no doubt look considerably different than that of the ME series. To that end, if folks would like to use armor concepts from Halo, select ones from Starcraft, and others, feel free to. If there's a considerable problem with the armor chosen, I will bring it to your attention.

Hopefully this helps y'all out. I'll have my character up soon and a writing sample. If I'm asking everyone for a sample, I find it only fair that I provide one myself.
Mine was fanfiction before I came here. I'm super happy that I made the switch. Really ^^!

Precisely so! I wouldn't say their goals are tyrannic per say. Like the Templars, they believe true happiness and freedom come from strict obedience ... as contradictory as that sounds. And fun! Will we be rival pirates then ^^? I'm still looking into the sea myths. If you have any suggestions, please voice them! Wiki is my friend as of now :p!

Oh I know Silver. Barely back for a week, and things are already gettin' busy! Gotta respond to you as well ^^!

Of course I want back in on this one. Just wish Drummer Dan was around...Butch Cassidy to my Sundance Kid.

I hope Drummer and Scout make their way back to us : / ...
@Metrognome: Yes, the acronym C-Sec still exists, but instead of Citadel, it's now short for Cathedral Security.

@Stryder: What are you specifically looking to build in? Shields are standard - unless you're not wearing armor. Please elaborate if you wouldn't mind ^^! Combat knifes are okay. In fact, the omni-tools used in this time line will not have omni-blade capabilities.

@Derren: Talk about timing! You always seem to post when I post 0.0...
