What is Glen's Cove?: Glen's Cove is a roleplay that is inspired from the game: Deadly Premonition,

Glen's Cove is a town that lies in between the Greenvale Forest Park and the Mayberry lake. The town is named so, because it is home to the GlenFord Cove. Glen's Cove is in Washington and is a very small, quaint, but rather charming little town.

The Occurrences
Throughout Glen's Cove there have been varied paranormal disturbances and weird phenomenons. There are two types of occurrences: the Unsound, and the Night walkers
The Unsound:
The Unsound are also known as Shadows, Demons or Phantoms. these Shadows These fiends have human forms but can be hugely disfigured. These Shadows are called so because they are the echoes of deaths from the past.

Night walkers:
This mysterious phenomenon occurs at night. Figures creep into town from the Greenvale forest park and commit acts of violence.

It is the year 2014. Humanity has grown in leaps and bounds, surviving war and natural disaster alike. The march of technology is steady, and prosperity has finally been glimpsed at the end of a long, dark tunnel. Though it is plagued by shortages and starvation and a myriad of setbacks, the world is ready to grasp true peace in its long overdue shining tomorrow!

Yet, darkness has grown as well. In the shadows made by this new growth, old demons have been given room to rise up once more. Even as good triumphs over evil again and again, it lingers until it can truly be eradicated. In particular, an old source of power, the last of its kind, has finally resurfaced after spending years hidden away from light and darkness alike. Now that it has reappeared, those who waited patiently have taken notice. Plans years in the making are finally coming to fruition, and the key is up for grabs! Only one can have it! Only one can win, and shape the delicate future!

To use that key, a certain power is needed. A power that requires an exceptional amount of personal strength and willpower. Yes, to use that key, one must have a Stand, something only a few people in the world possess, even fewer still have tamed!




Dear stand user,
My sources tell me that you have powers like no other, you have psychic-like abilities which the normal eye cannot see. This is why I am seeking you, I have had years of training and development over this supernatural virtue and we can help you reach the peak of your abilities and powers. This unique gift is called a 'Stand', it is a reflection of one's soul and spirit; these are called Stands because they protect their users like a guardian angel and they are 'Standing' by the user. They usually empower an individual, defend or wield and use unique and bizarre abilities. I write to you as I believe we here, at TYGER, can help you progress further and help you understand how to use all the abilities your Stand has to offer.
I call for you in this time of need as we need as I'm afraid something drastic has happened. The tomb of Pharaoh Atum Ra the Hellbound has been discovered and excavated under the pyramids of Giza. He is my great ancestor and he is slowly gaining the strength after his thousand year imprisonment in his tomb. If he rises and he gains full power, everything will dwindle into chaos. As you see Atum Ra has developed a Stand and it threatens to destroy mankind.
With his might and endurance he has already awakened. Sources tell me that there is a mystical, object with much power imbued into it it is reliable enough to destroy Atum Ra. There have been outbreaks of this artifact being used by the Pharaoh and has created armies of Stand users to do his bidding; the first and foremost command is to annihilate all Stand users there are.
Remember, a Stand can only defeat another Stand user.



Alistair sat in the front hallway, cross-legged and staring at the wall. He felt sensations that were not external, but internal. In his vision he saw several silhouettes, perhaps a girl, or an old lady; he could not tell.
"This memory is a little foggy-" Alistair stated to the thin air between himself and the wall.
"You may be right Zach... This definitely does not feel like the memories I had back then." Alistair slurred almost inexpressibly. He two more minutes staring into the wall without blinking, then he snapped back into reality.
Something doesn't feel right, right Zach? Lead me the way will ya? Alistair thought to himself. He stood up and stretched his arms and arched backwards.

Alistair found himself walking almost automatically down the hallway. He strolled down the hall with wide eyes, looking at the floor and watching his step as he avoided walking in any particular fashion or pattern. "Zach, do you ever dream 'bout back then? You know, before I met you? The darkness, was it? Can't remember, huh, that's totally fine Zach-" While talking to Zach out loud through the hallway, Alistair became startled as he heard a significant voice yell in the kitchen. His jumped up and shrieked out loud.

Its more minute features are difficult to make out as its coloring is a swirling, changing pattern of pitch black and bright gold, besides its general shape only its bright golden eyes are its constant feature.Ability: The Manipulation of Light. Using its over sized right hand it can rend large masses of light from the area the claws pass through, creating patches of deepest dark. These patches of dark will remain intact until a new source of light is directed onto it ( flashlight, candle light, open a window to allow a sunbeam to cross its path, ect ) With its left hand it can re-purpose the light into dazzling flashes or shapes.

Appearance: Jerry is a well-built male who stands at 6 foot 3 inches. He has jet black, well done hair in a neat side wept fashion. He wears a red tank top, with the words 'BOOM! GOTCHA!' in big pop art letters. He wears beige colored chino jeans, and almost always wears suspenders. He has a large handlebar mustache, neatly trimmed.

Likes: Locomotives, Hot dogs, sausages, hot sauce, being with friends, enjoys long walks on the beach.

Dislikes: Vegetarians, veggies, fish, loud noises,

Fears: The darkness, Night, being watched from behind, Insects.

Bad Habits: Only ever eats hot dogs, hot dog bread and sausages. (He's very committed)

Personality: Jerry is a very likeable and social person, many look up to him. His personality is strong, uncompromising, passionate, very stubborn and if a friend loyal till death. He would rather die then give up and that has been proven that. He's a really charitable person who never gives up unless he's making a fool of himself. Jerry does seem to try and make himself more memorable and he does often like to be the center of attention, which may also be the center of trouble.

History: Ever since a child, Jerry has been very optimistic. He showed high regards for socializing and made loads of friends during his childhood and teen-years. As he was progressing into his adulthood, he had a moment of realization and he pursued his dream of becoming a salesperson. he wore a permanent smile and everywhere he went he took his aura of happiness with him. Jerry started from the bottom, as he started his dream of becoming a salesperson, he was one step closer to his dream job as he invested a boat-load of money in the Hot Dog industry. Ever since he started his 'J-Dogs' Cart business, he has been trying to further his salesperson; he has done this by donating money to charities, participating in blood drives and just trying to get out there and making a name for himself.

Appearance: Appealing Reason is very human-reptilian like, it's build and height is similar to Jerry. It doesn't have any arms, instead it has a rather large head. It's head is parted into two, it's lower jaw is metallic and has a green tint to it.

Abilities:
Everchanging:
The ability to camouflage into it's surroundings also engulfing Jerry in the process, much like Vanilla Ice's Cream. It can easily stretch and change it's shape so it can hide in spaces.

Dead Ringers:
Appealing Reason can split up into a dozen little versions of itself and each one of the dead ringers can manipulate gravity. Together they can be used to manipulate objects to reach their terminal velocity (used to make deadly projectiles).
Ah, sorry about ditching the last roleplay, I was kind of busy, but I'm going to be committed to the this one.

James Maury Rodgers Jim the Magic Man, J.M. Rodgers Male 29 Children's Show Host and Writer Painting, puppeteering, child psychology, writing, magic and slight of hand. A tall, slightly pudgy man, with long brown hair and a big but well kept beard. He wears a long white coat, clean pressed pants, and a large top-hat. There is no black and white to morality in his view, just white that has been tarnished, and he is always respectful to anyone he meets. He empathizes for other people tremendously, unable to turn away and ignore suffering. He will use any situation he's in as an opportunity to educate, but is a showman and will go about it in an bombastic way. He always goes about his business with enormous enthusiasm. James grew up in the southern United States, and was an imaginative child even then. As he grew older he became interested in puppetry, a hobby that landed him a job on pubic access cable during his teenage years. Becoming a local celebrity through his puppets, he worked repeatedly with very young children and grew to love the way they viewed the world. Dedicating himself to education and entertainment he worked and worked until he got the opportunity to pitch his own show to the Public Broadcasting Station, a pitch that was helped by his Stand power and its ability to show them exactly what he pictured it being. All the while he wrote children books, often with the moral of understanding and accepting people who were different. Rainbow Connection The Rainbow Connection, The Muppet Movie A clownish looking frog the size of a mans head, with big red cheeks and a large star-like mane around it's neck. The colors of the frog are constantly shifting and changing and moving, like a psychedelic tie-dye lava lamp. Rainbow Connection Can jump between two people at high speed, connecting them with a rainbow chain. So long as at least two people are connected by the chain they will each see and experience what the other imagines as though it were happening in real life. This effect can be extended with multiple consecutive jumps, with each person in the chain seeing what is imagine by every other person in the chain. Rainbow Connection must leap directly between people to connect them via the rainbow chain. If it lands on anything but another person the chain is considered complete and no one else may be added to it.
