Name: David Atticus Hennings Alias: 'Dave', 'Davey', 'Attic boy', 'Atlas' Age: 30 Gender: Male
Clothing: Atlas is usually always seen wearing his favourite stripy red tie along with any suits and shirts he has. He tends to like wearing plain coloured cotton tee shirts, especially beige coloured shirts. He usually wears this when he's alone and/or when he's seeking leisure. Place of Residence: Great Mountain Yard Hotel, Room 25B History: Atlas spent a lot of his childhood to himself. Although he was raised by a loving family in a nice neighbourhood, he found himself having trouble interacting with other kids, who would consider him a "freak" and a "loser". He preferred spending his time watching movies and reading books as opposed to hanging out with his friends. His favourite book and movie were To Kill a Mockingbird and he would often quote it in conversations with his friends.
When he was ten, his father was arrested. Although he knew his father was innocent, the evidence in court showed that he was guilty and was sent to death row. This shocked and saddened him, not knowing why someone who was so loving and caring to all around him would do things like that. He would always say to his mother "Atticus woulda got him out of the electric chair!" As Atlas grew up he realized his ambition on being in the FBI when he watched Twin Peaks in the early 90's and soon he chased his dream on being part of the FBI just like FBI agent Dale Cooper. He quickly earned a reputation as “The Idiot Savant Agent”. The training he took part in involved him using what he deemed to be unconventional tactics and would seem to make a mockery of himself. The harder he tried, the higher His success rate. He enjoyed working in the FBI although he had to undergo a lot of training.
Atlas was assigned to the Red Seed Murders at Greenvale, but he was unfortunately removed due to a strange sickness he had developed during the last investigation he had. Currently he has been covertly directed by the FBI section chief, Robert Abrahams, to investigate the town of Glen's Cove as has sources who tell him that there are strange things that happen in the town which might be linked to the red seeds murder. Personality: Generally practical, somewhat jaded, but when he's working he is definitely hard-working and a little bit calculating. He's well-liked enough at the Bureau. There is nothing in particular about him that stands out, except for the fact that he looks a little bit pretty-boy and is usually mistaken for younger than he really is. He usually gets a little peeved off and acts rather Cheerless. He tends to get impatient when faced with things that aren't straightforward and factual. Fears: Atlas fears total darkness, Dogs, black Coffee. Atlas also has a fear of electrocution and live wires, after the execution of his father. Likes/Dislikes: Atlas likes anything that has to do with tea, he also likes all sorts of tea. He has a fondness of people who look and act presentable. Atlas despises coffee; because of an incident when a co-worker gave him coffee instead of tea which also burnt his tongue; he also utterly frowns upon when people chews with their mouths open.
Just below the calm, homely surface is always a darker side. Perhaps not all of the townspeople know of it, but it’s always there. In the buildings. In the trees. In the soil itself. It waits for the right time to rear its head, but it will, in time. I can promise you that much – you will See it, and when you do, you’ll suddenly be a great deal more interested in the town's history. Of course, you won’t See it right away. You’ll hear of it first, Warnings not to go out in the rain, or snow, without protection. The stories in the figures in bright red hoods. The stories of massacres and the phantoms that lurk under the shadows of the rainfall, wraiths with broken bodies, wailing in pain and begging for death.
Many of the townspeople have gone and vanished out of thin air, leaving a lingering shadow creeping further into town. The scattered inhabitants carry on living a normal life, ignoring the malicious writhing evil on their doorsteps. You, fair roleplayer will be one of these people, be it a traveler, tourist or townsfolk.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Welcome to Glen's Cove!
What is Glen's Cove? Glen's Cove is a roleplay that is inspired from the game Deadly Premonition and the Television show Twin Peaks. I seek to create a hub for roleplayers interested in mystery and intrigue in a setting that is both - well, mysterious and intriguing. Below are several locations which are whereabouts to do specific actions, e.g: "Malcolm visits the Do or Dine! diner, he sighs as he sits down in a booth." I like to think of this weird little roleplay as a twist on tomodachi life :P, there are locations set and characters that will interact in them and the characters set in that location.
--- Location and Settings Glen's Cove is a town that lies in between the Greenvale Forest Park and the Mayberry lake. The town is named so, because it is home to the GlenFord Cove. Glen's Cove is in Washington and is a very small, quaint, but rather charming little town.
Do or Dine! - (Local Diner)
Owned and managed by Randy Fitzberg, he is a very creative and practical guy, he is very people oriented and can bring out the best in other people, but is quite self critical sometimes. This little diner serves as the primary place for people to meet and to eat (Not to meet and eat people)!
A Salt and Battery - (English style Chip-Shop)
Owned run by Phillipa Greene, she lacks any realistic goals and because of this, she is lazy and drinks alcohol most of the time. She is rather outgoing and is able to inspire and motivate others. The little Chip Shop acts like a little fast food joint, perfect for having a quick bite or stuffing your face in with greasy food!
The Drunken Ducks - (English style Pub)
Owned and run by Thomas and Fischer Smith, these twins are both easily insightful, ambitious and love to be the center of attention. They are also both quite poor at being practical and sometimes lack empathy. This little English style pub is a great place to have a few pints of lager and to play darts or pool with a friend or two!
Phillip's FillUps - (Gas Station)
Owned and run by Phillip Greene, he is Phillipa Greene's brother and is usually quite overly dramatic and very eccentric, he is rather fussy and sometimes requires time alone. This little gas station has the friendliest service and is great to buy stuff on the go!
Market Ba$ket - (Grocery store)
Owned and run by Rajeev Chopra, he is very quiet and occasionally likes to engage in small talk with his customers. He is quite happy with the life he is living at the moment but feels like there's always space to improve. This little grocery shop is the main place to buy your much needed groceries for a price that any other shops can't beat!
The Second Amendment - (Gun store)
Owned and run by Ricardo Del Matos, he is very loud mouthed, and likes to please himself before others, he is usually one sided but oddly highly observant and can be a team player when needed. This gun store is the best if you're looking for a selection of guns and a stockpile of ammo to buy!
Great Mountain Yard hotel - (Hotel)
Owned and managed by Rita Oldkins, she is very kind and helpful but independent, unconventional and despises routine. She's also very laid back and is very adaptable. This little hotel is perfect if you want luxury, the feeling of a warm shelter and a plate full of food at the dining hall! The Hotel has 4 floors and about a dozen rooms on each floor.
Fantastic Apartments - (Apartment Block)
This 4 floor apartment block is owned and managed by Richard Fenrick II. He is quite a shadowy figure who doesn't like to engage in small talk, he usually dislikes company and would rather spend time in the Do or Dine! drinking coffee, or writing plays as he is an aspiring playwright.
Glen's Cove General Health clinic - (Medical Facility)
Government owned building; this little Clinic has a wonderful staff which are trained to tend wounds and give prescription drugs if needed!
Sheriff's Department - (Law)
Government owned building; this little sheriff's department has trained officers which look over the little town and arrive to calls of help! The Staff comprises of: Sheriff Terry Mills, Deputy Sheriff Brandon Harrison, Receptionist Morgana Woody-Anne. The staff is usually a little dopy and scramble-brained, but they do like to help out with anything they can!
Graveyard - (Sights)
Owned and managed by Alistair Higgins, he is very misunderstood and because of that he is quite remorseless, insensitive and extremely critical. He is also surprisingly artistic, logical and always thinks ahead. This little graveyard neighbors the GlenFord's cove and has a lovely mood to stroll through!
Greenvale forest park and GlenFord's Cove - (Sights)
The forest park is wonderful to have a stroll through and have a hike to see the wonderful scenery. The GlenFord's cove is a sight to see, it has a narrow beach with some lovely little interconnecting caves to walk through, perfect for spelunking!
--- The Occurrences Throughout Glen's Cove there have been varied paranormal disturbances and weird phenomenons. There are two types of occurrences: the Unsound, and the Night walkers The Unsound: The Unsound are also known as Shadows, Demons or Phantoms. These Shadows; These fiends have human forms but can be hugely disfigured. These Shadows are called so because they are the echoes of deaths from the past.
Night walkers: This mysterious phenomenon occurs at night. Warped and misshapen humanoid figures creep into town from the Greenvale forest park and roam the night, just after dusk, loitering on the streets and bringing misfortune and harm to those who it encounters. These creatures usually wear tattered and unkempt clothing, although they seem as though they were once human, they act like feral and territorial beasts.
There are many other strange and mysterious things unaccounted for, perhaps you would be the first to discover terrible and twisted phenomenas?

I'm glad that people are still interested, I'll make the OOC very soon. In my absence I've actually started to write a screenplay relating to Glen's Cove. :P
Hey there! Sorry for the Über long wait and stuff. I had to get a few things done for college and all, but I really looked forward to this roleplay coming to life. :) I do hope you are still interested, I should be able to revive this splendid roleplay if some people are still interested.
