It wasn't long before the Tardis arrived at the planet. It was almost instantaneous really.
The Collector opened the doors and stepped out onto his home planet. It was odd to be back after so long, but he felt a sense of comfort at the same time. He turned around and motioned for Clarissa to come follow him. As she came behind him he started to run a head, through what looked like a desert, with a city on the outskirts of the dunes. He stopped a way ahead and waited making sure she would catch up with him.
She caught up with him and he went ahead quite a ways, to a desert clearing with what looked like a large wooden shack.
The Collector opened the door and stepped inside, leaving it open for Clarissa. Then he looked around and noticed it was empty and deserted, as if no one has been here in quite some time, years, decades, centuries even. He sat down on a bench that was attached to a wall and fell sunken, his face into his hands, with a sense of sadness that the place was a wasteland.
He watched as Clarissa entered the shack and sat beside him.
