So yeah the Serious Crime Division deals with organised crime, high profile/value crimes and dangerous criminals so perhaps the SRTU could be like a SWAT equiv as part of the SCD. A more combat orientated wing who specialise in performing raids and bringing in dangerous targets. I dunno just how I could see it going

Siphran it seems your character's SRTU and Venator's Serious Crime Division overlap quite a lot, if we are both law enforcementy types perhaps we should merge these departments as they both seem to be top tier crime investigation.

Personality: Venator believes in discipline, punctuality and duty above all things, he can seem a rather blunt person at first but is driven by a strong desire make the world better. He can be rather unforgiving when it comes to criminal activities and is often criticised for his lack of flexibility by his superiors. He cares greatly for his subordinates, even those who sometime fall short of his own personal standards though he would never admit it. He is hard working and dedicated but can be maybe a little naive or even stubborn when it comes to anything that challenges his own beliefs, often blinding him even to problems he should be concerned about.
History: Born to a moderately wealthy family in Babylon Venator had a happy and even unremarkable life, he worked hard at school and did reasonably well in academics and sports. The only thing that really stood out was from a young age he dreamed of protecting the people of Babylon, be it from sand pirates, street thugs or even a treacherous rebellion he fought them all as a child. When he left school he studied in Computational Forensics at the Babylon Institute before joining the BESC as part of the Law Enforcement branch at the age of 21. As a young cadet he proved himself capable both in investigation and in combat situations and was soon recruited into the Serious Crimes Division by the time he was 24. While progress was sometimes slower in the SCD Venator threw himself into his work with even more enthusiasm as he finally hunted down gang leaders, broke up illegal trafficking rings and captured ruthless cyber criminals. Unfortunately Venator was beginning to get close to uncovering a scandal, his blindness to the BESC's failings would only hide it from him from so long and it was arranged for a raid to go wrong. At the age of 26 he was gunned down, his support arriving late so it seemed and he was left for dead and hospitalised. With the case he was working on handed over to someone more... malleable he was allowed to live and eventually recovered albeit with both his legs and arms being replaced with artificial augmented limbs instead, as well a set of artificial kidneys. Finally at 28 he made Captain and now has a small squad under his command working wherever their next case takes them.

Augments: His limbs give him enhanced speed and strength as well as being more durable, as of yet he has not added any more features but may in the future
Other: He often wears a visor earpiece combo over one eye that allows him to stay in contact with his team as well as relay important information to him and over lay tactical information onto what he sees before him.

Okay there's a few things I may tweak when new information comes out, I made modify his equipment and weapons when I have a better idea of what we are dealing with. This is just so I get some of my ideas down and see what you think :)
