I know this needs work if you all want to help that's fine. I know I need to work on this but haven't for ten years or more. This is like my 5th attempt to post this and it's getting dumb at this point. I know I have many Grammar, spelling and other problems but yeah. Just grin read and hope you enjoy. I'm not sure where this rp will land and there is loads of information I couldn't post. Kept forcing the server offline or something. >.> I have posted this a few times and have had conflicts with the site. This rp is sandbox and could be anything.

It is hard to narrow it down because when I originally made it, it was meant for a group of ten people. Each of them was like a leader or something of organizations but they didn't control the NPCs of their organizations... so it wasn't a nation rp in that sense. Each had one character. Which allowed me to do what I wanted to a limit. If they had "X" Is completely loyal and will never betray "X1" Then it is something I wouldn't change. Everyone has people loyal to them.

Anyways this is just a little snip of story. Not sure what else I'm suppose to add.

Tasogare Shin’en

A hundred years of war raged, but then peace finally reigned. Someone stepped forward and got both the good and evil sides to come to a treaty. After a thousand years the humans were the ones to spark the embers and reignite the flames of war, seeing that the good had broken the ancient treaty. The greater evils formed an alliance with a mysterious figure and blotted out the sun.

The elves came up with sun orbs which emanated light like mini suns. The humans had already been making powered weapons, powered by a unicorn horn at first. They then gained the elves sun orbs and use them now, after forging an alliance with all of the other good creatures. The evil side had spies gaining the technological magical items, shortly after they made the moon orbs. Which were like sun orbs but powered the “dark and evil” Technological magic items.

Ten years later the old one returned and made the councils on both sides sign a blood treaty together. More peace rains but tensions have never been higher.
I'm still working on my character. Going to give him high diplomacy skills as well as rogue like abilities and maybe some basic healing and illusion magic.
Weelllll just put up those maps so people can see the nations they would be in control of.
Doesn't that mean we just need more people?
@Zendrelax I was talking about the race of high elves that almost took over the world. Mostly mentioned in Oblivion. Ayleid ruins and all that. Something about the Aldmer but yeah anyhow Altmer. Yeah I like to confuse everyone even myself.
I believe the word you're looking for is "Altmer." And the character sounds good to me.


I know what Altmer are... it just seemed like they had different names for the race. Oh well.. yeah Altmer. I kind of wish I had Skyrim installed with a few mods so I could make my character lol. Would like to know how the Gods play in this setting as well. Because they may have not been all that invested in the games but they did do things... Shimmering Isles for example and the shrine quests. They were always fun. I want a Wabbajack! Or perhaps a rain of sheep on fire...
I was hoping on joining up with you guys as a standalone character. I'm not interested in doing the nation thing in the rp yet. I kind of would like to start out like any character in the Elder scrolls... yes as a prisoner. He will have some ability on combat, magic and specialize in roguelike abilities. Kind of a jack of all trades and yeah he may even had been a traveling merchant at one time.

Wrong place wrong time. You were captured because you walked into this area where people were "banditizing" the locals. Since your character isn't known in the area they assumed you were with the thugs and locked you up as well.

After being captured by the imperials he is shipped away to be set to trial in his homelands by his own people. When in reality there wouldn’t be a trial just an execution once he arrives… This is because his family was of a powerful ancient bloodline supposedly tied to the ancient Ehlnofey. This bloodline gave his family terrifying abilities and powers.

They wanted this bloodline destroyed and attacked his family… killing almost everyone. He escaped and thanked the gods that he was alive. He figured that vengeance would be something out of his grasp but nothing is written in stone. He has hopes in proving his ability and knows that his family had a scapegoat for him. The other nobles assume that he was killed in the attack and thus allows him to be “free.”

I am not sure where to start but have been talking with Letter Bee about somethings. But would like to know what you all think about this character idea. He is High Elf or whatever the term for his race is.
I would be interested in this if it wasn't a "Nation" rp. perhaps if it lead to a nation rp that would change my mind. Whenever I have played any Bethesda games it has been as a person going up in the world. Yes, I wish that there were more after a specific point... that point would lead into nation building and all that. Getting trade routs and Nonagression pacts with other big Nations. Trade, research and possibly alliances. I know I am probably missing a lot of things but yeah. It has been a while since I have done anything resembling Nation rp. That was Master of Orion 2 Battle at Anteres or however it is spelt.
My idea for the elements doesn't stretch that far. I would say that elements could be blended but for healing and such its just a no go. Darkness and Light would be "nonelements" along with spirit or Ki. I could just revise it down and make it just five basic elements that branch out maybe later. But its elements. Darkness formed into a sword or something like that. Same as light. One could also view Darkness as cold and light as heat. So you could do some things with that. The system basic mechanics are. You as a player write up 10 spells that you know based on ONE element. Something you were born with or whatever. These 10 spells are what you get throughout the entire rp(Spells which I will read and either accept or deny them. I would do this because I wouldn't want people to have some kind of godly spell or just make up bs while they are rping. It limits it so that you can make versatile spells. Like having offensive, Defensive and noncombat spells.) It is more restricted but it makes the player really think about the spells at hand and how they can help given different situations.
Well, I suppose I can make a rp. It would be of basic elements. IE Fire, Ice, wind, ect. It would restrict greater magics like those from mage while allowing characters to expand on their elements based on their imagination. If anyone feels interested just talk to me. I am going to school and it is taking up most of my time but I have gone through a rp like this one. I may even steal the storyline to simplify things.
