But your character didn't choose to run. He chose to save a little girl and join up with out group. Ragtag group we are.
My character would be saying ef that because that would just make us vulnerable. If we were on top of a bus. He would tell them how it is a bad idea and stuff. If the characters can get the bus started then maybe they could get out of town. Although the book says that during the first few hours of the outbreak that it is a bad idea to try and drive out. It will make more traffic that is already there. We in essence would be a giant tube of food for the undead. Maybe if things weren't going to fast he could think for a second and be like... hey lets go to my house. Stick it out for a few hours and what not. That and he lives on the second floor. The stairs are wooden allowing quick whop chop action to getting the only way out or in out of the way.

In outbreak level 3 there are so many zombies around that they will pile up on one another to get over most obstacles. Assuming the outbreak is just starting then the amount of zombies are scarce. There are a few here and there. Putting too many people into the mix usually leads to panic and dumb people doing stuff. Like crushing people below them. Widespread panic seems unimaginable although people are in essence dumb and give into the fight or flight. Either they gain courage and fight via military background or whatever… or they run. Most everyone will run because in essence most people are cowards.
@Sophrus Yeah that and this book would be useless at this point.
I thought we headed out the back door? As in escape routes and safety zones. I'm sure we barricaded the entrance door but the back door was probably overlooked because of all the "panic"

Also I have my The Zombie Survival Guide with me. It points out buses are bad because of the door and all the glass. Then again given the group size we have... I doubt we have a choice. unless we wanted to split up the group.

@ChronoBovino The dead don't run in the walking dead. Its because of the necrotic stiffness in the undead. Something about crappy hand eye coordination and that they have never been seen jumping up or down obstacles.
Aren't we missing someone?
Huck and Anastasia

Jonathan was somewhat tired when he listened to the screams outside. When Vincent suggested that everyone run he waited for everyone else to get moving. While he was waiting he gathered his things and helped Anastasia get her bag on. In the time it took him to do so the zombies started to break through the windows. He allowed her to lead as he ran up the flank of the party. His staff like weapon was drawn as he placed his back to the group and did his best to backpedal.

As he was backing out he noticed the fire extinguisher on the wall. He quickly sheathed his stick onto his back and took the extinguisher. It was a massive thing but he could carry it and be fine as long as he didn’t run. He looked around and noticed everyone leaving out the back. He followed as best as he could and made sure to keep an eye open for walkers that may have gotten inside without them noticing. Anastasia was waiting for him at the back door and he made his way out of the building. He let out a grunt as he bashed a zombie in the face, smashing its nose.

Anastasia moved up and made sure he was alright. He just nodded to the others and made sure to keep up with them. They needed a vehicle and he wasn’t sure if they could find one void of Zombies that they could use. Although there was a bus the luck of getting into it and finding the keys would be the first step. He didn’t know how to drive suck a massive machine and getting it zombie proofed was another story. Perhaps a motor-home was something they should look into. Again he didn’t know crap about those.

“Does anyone know how to drive that and that?” He quietly asked as they passed by a bus and a motor-home.

“Sadly I can only drive a few vehicles and moving this amount of people would be easier with something that can climb anywhere. At the same time it housing all of us would be another great advantage.” He continued as they moved through the area. He pointed out a few zombies and hoped that the people around him would off them, as he was getting tired.
Do these centers have fireman's axes in them? I only ask because I haven't seen one in a long while. Although I don't get out much so there is that.
I think I will wait for everyone else to post before doing mine.

I know this is probably boring but it will get somewhere after the "greeting" act.

Aku let out a smile as both of the students who were participating answered simultaneously. He took another drink from his goblet and looked around. They seemed to be done eating and more interested in his riddles at this point.

“Well, I guess you all know these riddles. They are good but still. I was going to come up with something new but alas the night is young. I will see you all in the afternoon. If you all wish to sleep now then you may do so. Although if you stay up I could just start teaching you all now. Then again you are all probably exhausted from the journey here. With that I excuse myself.” He said as he scooted out of his chair and took his blood with him. He exited the room and as he did another “him” walked into the room from the kitchen. Quickly he started to clear the table.

“Are you finished?” He asked with a smile to each student. This was probably the biggest puzzle that the students would have to face. How does he do that?
