Yes I blame myself for this. He was online before. If Only I were here before to help this progress.

Some Basic Idears for bloodlines.

Bloodlines
None Family Bloodlines

Knight - Gains natural affinity to melee based offensive magic and slight affinity to speed augment spells

Pawn – Gains natural affinity to soaking damage. When around commoners they can fade into the rabble and commoners like them more(the more pawns in the same area they stronger they are).

Noble – Bookworm – can read much faster than most and can recall information from studies almost instantly.

Rook – Speed enhancement spells and Ranged (nonmagical) enhancements.

Castle – Great Defensive spells and health augmentations(can take more damage than most Ogres, about ten pawns).

Queen – All spells are slightly stronger.

King – Has a natural affinity to leading and spells dealing with persuasion.

Assassin – Gains natural affinity to death magic as well as illusion magic. (Fade, Shadow Knife and Death Gaze are some of the base spells.)

Rogue – Cunning and guile are your trade you get increased perceptions verses those trying to lie or swindle. Speed and mind influencing spells are enhanced.

Magus – Learning natural spell casting comes naturally to you. However, learning from a book takes double the time.

I did mention other characters in the RP if you read everything. The characters who had the spotlight were the players who were here. So you can be one of them, or a student who was late to the call. (Or on time to his standards) Also fill in your age please. remember that age is experience so the older you are you may just know more about the world and what has actually been happening. You could have actually heard about the tests that have been going on every century here at the Academy. Your character would have a fine understanding about his magic assuming his sire was still alive.

If alone things may have gone differently. It would have been easier to live for a few centuries with the protection of your characters Sire. Of course if my character was that sire it would have been different because of what had happened to him. The younger the character the more they can learn. The older they are they have probably already fully grasped onto one element. Like I said if he was alone then he may have a different understanding of his magic.

Name: Bishop Alastair Lynch

Accepted

Also sorry for the long pause here. Job stuff getting in the way. Going to keep up on this. I had formatted my system and upgraded to windows ten. That was the start of it as I found that windows 10 actually allowed me to play games at higher settings. So many games... O.o

The next morning...

The fact that the sun was constantly being covered by a magical darkness seemed to not bother the younger generation. They couldn't understand the awe and power that the sun held. The fact that in the light all the darkness would have to retreat back into the darkness of holes within the earth or now within buildings created by the intelligent races scattered all over the world. It was probably a primal feeling to most races to want to bask outside under one of the "Sunlight Orbs" as if getting the real thing. Aku was walking around the house aimlessly as he bumped into the infernal pair.

“Here again to stop the true darkness from being free?” Aku asked the female as he looked at her. His smile made her swoon and made the male blush.

“Of course you could always help free me. I do reward those who help me...” He paused as he looked at both of them. His body language changes a little as he shifted his body to fully face them but so that he could lean against the wall.

“Then again if you weren't born before what happened to me then you wouldn't know that I am held to my word.” He said and then tisked three times as he moved over to sit on a chair. Somehow he still faced them.

“We would help...” The succubus started.

“And imagine how your masters would hate it before I removed them from existence.” He cut in before she or he could finish what they were going to say. They both blanched at his words and became a bit pale. It was strange to see denizen the Nine Hells or the Abyss do such a thing.

“They didn't tell you that I record every person's names they send here and how I will seek revenge upon those who stood against me?” He asked as they looked at him, more color leaving their features. He seemed amused at their discomfort and began to laugh. They narrowed their eyes at him as the color returned to their features. They knew he couldn't do anything to them yet but did they want to test him now?

“Go, you know I cannot do anything.” He said to them as he waved his hands at them. They walked off and started talking with one another speaking in a strange language. Aku prepared the table for breakfast and waited for everyone to gather. Thanalog sat in the room at the table sitting at the opposite side as his father. He waited for everyone to get into the room and situate themselves.

“So what do you all plan to do today?” He asked after they all seemed situated.

Thanalog made a strange clicking almost insect like noise with his mouth as he thought. He was picking up surface thoughts from Moriko and Nybras and he felt their emotions as well. He pulled out a ring and handed one to each of them.

“These rings will protect your minds from being overheard. They will also allow you two to communicate telepathically but only if you both want to. There will be no eavesdropping when it comes to these rings. As for those two, they didn’t have a choice in how they were born. They were born and raised in the nine hells or one of the layers of the abyss.” He paused tapping his talon like nail against his lip.

“They were raised be those you would consider Evil but in reality good and evil are all just matter of beliefs and how one is raised. Imagine if all your life you are told that killing is bad or evil. You will eventually believe that deep in your core. Now imagine if you didn’t kill someone at least once a week and that was considered evil…” He paused as he glanced from one of them to the other.

“It is all about where you are raised and what they believe in. Well, mostly. There are rare cases where people are different no matter what. They either get some strange dark or light impulse to do something out of their natural races beliefs. These people are extremely rare but do exist. Like my father… although it took him centuries to change and it was because of a friend of his.” He continued as he looked around.

“In short we all hold darkness and light within us. The thing is will you let one overpower and control your actions?” He asked as he looked around the room, it was as if he was searching for something and then he moved over and took up two books and some quills with ink. He handed each of them one and looked at them as if they expected something more.

“What?” He asked shrugging.

“I want you two to keep journals and write everything you feel, what you think about the day and how it was spent. Also, I want you to write down what you would do to change the day. Let’s say hypothetically if you could change the past.” He informed them and with that he sat back down taking in a deep breath as if to catch his breath from a long run. Then he recalled that Nybras did ask him a few questions or was it just a statement? He pondered as he looked back at the duo.

“Magic is a simple thing to learn and something impossible to master or control. I could teach you both about magic but I was hoping that you both had “special types” of magic to teach one another. As what happened between the humans and demons… well it was more of what happened between the races of light and darkness. Again as I said before you can change how you are viewed but never how your race is viewed as a whole. No matter how long you work at it people will always shun you for your race. Unless they are people raised by my father. It is one of the reasons you are all here.” He explained as he looked at them.

“I beg that you don’t want me to tell the story now…” He paused and looked at them and noted that they were really interested. How could they not be?

“From what I gathered from my father and well, both sides. The war was over, land. People always want land and were fighting and fueling the wars. A few Gods of War were loving it and they were the first to fall to my father. Even in their strengthened states. He fought the gods of war at the same time when the war was at its peak.” He explained as he looked at them noting the sparkling lust for knowledge.

“He ended the war and made both sides sign blood contracts to keep the peace. Although, humans have such a short lifespan that they were able to void the contract within a few hundred years. The humans feared that the Demon Lords and Archdevils were plotting to erase them. They probably were at the time but couldn’t figure out a way to get past the contract. The humans started mingling magic and technology. Once this was done the contracts were all void. Although, at the time the demons didn’t know this and were attacked by magic powered handheld cannons. The humans eradicated almost every demon from the cavern… all save for an imp.” He paused to allow them to take it in.

“That imp went to the lords and arch devils revealing this had happened. With that they all got together and somehow captured my father. They used his blood as well as their own to craft a powerful spell. The spell that is still blotting out the sun.” He stopped as he took a sip of something that looked like wine. After a deep gulp he rubbed his thumb across his lip to wipe away a drop.

“My father didn’t figure out they used his blood for the spell until much later. I think they drugged him or something. Calling him in under false securities and friendship. Although, I’m not sure.” He clarified and shrugged.

“I hope this was enough for you both for now. I’m tired and probably going to bed.” He stated as he pointed to the clock. It was early in the morning, somewhere around 7AM. He moved off at a slow shamble and took his cup and bottle with him.

He sat in a chair near them both and strangely enough the chair seemed designed for his massive tail. It swayed back and forth as he listened to Moriko. His clawed hand rested against his face as he listened to her and as she asked her question he couldn’t help but laugh a little.

“Well, I cannot tell you too much or solving the puzzle won’t work.” He admitted as he started tapping his index fingers claw against his teeth. He couldn’t help but let out a smile as he laid back in the chair.

“My Father was once so powerful gods trembled before his might. Now he is imprisoned here within these walls, well, gates.” He clarified as he looked at the two in the room with him. A strange rumble could be felt as well as heard throughout the area. Instead of being something of a quake it was more akin to something growling.

“Well, it seems that the others are here.” He said as more people entered the house.

“They are here to make this impossible for you both to solve.” He said with a wave of his hand.

“Although you are welcome to stay here until you wish to leave.” He said as he rose and moved to greet the newcomers. There was a tall man but he looked like he had burns on his skin. Upon closer inspection one would realize that it wasn’t burns but onyx black from the burning hells. Another, a beautiful woman didn’t seem to stand out much. Although she did have a tail with a spade on the tip of it. It looked like a small heart when she waved it correctly. She looked over to the two in the resting area and her eyes seem to light up.

“Now, now you know the rules. No killing or kissing people to death.” Thanalog told her with a swift slap to her face.

“I see your eyes light up like that again and I will devour you both.” He informed them as he moved against the wall in the hallway. He noticed that she didn’t even feel the slap. It was as if she enjoyed the pain as she let out a seductive moan.

“I can’t help if they fall for me.” She purred as her tail flicked back and forth quickly like a cat hunting. Soon the duo left the room and made their ways to their rooms. Thanalog moved back to the two in the room and looked at them.

“Sorry, one of them is a devil and the other is a demon… well, partially.” He admitted as he looked them over.

“Anything else I tell you they will most likely learn because of their strange magic.” He looked in the direction the couple went.

“So what would you both like to learn… that doesn’t have to do with freeing my father from this prison?” He asked as he turned back to face them.
