This is a rewrite of Captain Ereso, basically a different character.

Character Sheet for Ereso Votun

Name: Ereso Votun
Title: Captain of the Vishap (a frigate)

Height: 6' 8"

Weight: 230 Kg, metal is heavy! Despite this, his model is that of the leaner builds.

Group: Reaym Corps

Age: 28 years old

Race: Posthuman

Tier: 4

Appearance: He is a lean, brass colored cyborg with goggle-like eyes, and segmented arms. The harder parts of his cybernetic body are his chest and waist. His head is a Romanesque helmet (but without the flare), with various intricate parts to simulate facial expressions using nanotech. His design is very compressible and the limbs are modular, meaning he can swap them out for better limbs on a regular basis and the body too, is modular. Shoot the head. One can see silvery veins in his arms and legs when he is in more intensive situations from the nanites that flow through his machine body in place of blood.

Personality: Ereso is a machine man with a very optimistic outlook on the world who has seen quite a bit having connections in both magical and technological societies, even if he himself remains more or less a technological being. A very friendly person who seeks what is best for the world and is profoundly naive in his conceptions of it. Still, he is very moralistic and believes that he can use his advantage as a posthuman to make the world a better place for everyone. He is somewhat dogmatic, believing that if more people were posthumans many problems of society would be absolved and is very frequent in expressing these beliefs. Ereso is devout to the Reaym Corp's transhumanist cause to the end with a strong sense of loyalty that borders on unshakable.

Abilities, Talents, Traits, Powers:

(4)-Modular body; He is high class enough that he has a modular body that has all its parts replacable, just as long as his personality chip is inside it.

(2)-Expert Pilot; The main breadth of his education has been in piloting ships, especially frigates and exojets (which is another way of saying high altitude jets).

(2)-An adept engineer; Erseo is a decent engineer. Not the top of his class, but he knows how to work with drones on the technical level enough to modify them on a regular basis. His four drones are all modified drones given personalities as a result.

(2) -A Straight Shooter; He is best when using a carbine-type weapon, it's what the nursey trained him in most. He is awful with anything else.

(3)- Nanostrength; Due to being a posthuman, physical strength and speed are better by default to that of a human thanks to the nanites surging through his artifical blood veins that process food better and help with reducing damage from gunshots.

(4)-Backups; He has back up chips of his mind made using modified versions of the Reekai Computer Chip, though he has no memory of anything after the back up if killed too far from his ship (or killed with his ship that incubates the backup mind) and a backup body is not guaranteed.

Items:

(3)-Nanocarbine; A semi-automatic guass rifle with moderate penetration that he uses on a regular basis filled with nanomachines that self-destruct in tiny, controlled explosions within the target's body, causing internal damage.

(3)-Commlink; A internal linking system to his ship that streams his memories and intel.

(3)-Fluidic Gauntlet; If Ereso runs out of ammo on his Nanocarbine, he can use his gauntlets. Fluidic Gauntlets are nanomachine based gauntlets that harden more the harder one hits with them, while being soft otherwise allowing for both combat and civilian use.

History: Born on Vashishka in a military family, Ereso could be what is termed in some places a 'military brat', born into the upper class of society he hadn't really known suffering like so many had and in that sheltered existence proved amazingly oblivious to the coming schism despite all the writing on the walls. For the peacekeeping forces of the federation kept stability. Ereso's father was an officer in the Federation's military and had serve the UFP for decades by the time the galactic Schism broke out. By that point Ereso was already full grown and training to be a ship captain himself, but he ended up learning multiple skills by the age of 23 and for a bit, everything seemed fine in Ereso's life.

Ereso's joining of Reaym Corp came later and came as a result of Ereso ending up the victim of a horrible accident where while at a firing range getting shot by one of his peers in the chest, critically injuring Ereso to the point where it seemed Ereso was just hours away from death. Ereso's father, desperate to see his only son not die before him went to Reaym Corp for solutions and was given one- to upload Ereso's mind so he can continue to live on as a machine. Reaym Corp was basically taking advantage of this tragedy to carry out an experiment.

Despite the moral scruples that came with such a operation, Ereso's father went forward with financing the transfer anyways. But this came with consequences beyond merely the transfer- for Ereso found himself a new man afterwards and a began to view the world in a new light in his freedom from being just a body. Now he was an avatar who could truly do good for the world and ended up to his father's shock, joining Reaym Corp as a captain to fulfill the dream of a world where the races of the federation aren't shackled to mere flesh. Ereso felt an obligation to do so, even when there was none. His father however wasn't able to speak much to Ereso after this, for the Schism began to break out and he was called to duty- thus leaving Ereso to his own machinations as he became a loyal member of Reaym Corp.
@Dark Light
I'm fine with it, when it comes that stuff I consider it the jurisdiction of GMs whjether or not it is fine as you justify it pretty well anyhow.

I just check to see if you are violating the two regulations or not (Hence why Heroic's gotten so much flak from me), if you aren't your character is fine by me. Your character isn't.

As for symbiont abilities, perhaps some ability to interface with ruins better would be my suggestion for an alternative to telepathy especially given the ancient origins of your aymbiont.
He's good to join the network, my only critcism in regards to abilities is that I think the chain gun thing is a bit over the top personally (even if justified by the symbionts and/or his upbringing on a higher gravity world), but whatever, character power is not my jurisdiction and it isn't in violation of the two regulations. I just hope to see him develop more for the final app, especially in regards to your character's history and personality.

Interesting idea to combine the relic + symbiont, which balances itself since instead of having them seperate you have a stronger single thing. Telepathy-wise, is that only for other intelligent symbionts? Since symbionts are usually critters with intelligent symbionts being considerably more rare.

@Antarctic Termite
I see.
My hands are too full to join this, but it's nice to see a group close to being official already.

@Antarctic Termite Be a bit careful w/ network shilling

Actually don't. We don't regulate there.
Alright, got the first rewrite created.

@Antarctic Termite Given giggles is in the love bomb, do you plan a seperate character here?
@QuetzalcoatlSo this adds 4 locations? It sounds like Regen is the least bad of the bunch.
Jesus how am I going to keep track of all this.

I have no clue what's going on.
@0Z Well, I found my way to you anyways.
Hovers, already paranoid as is completely began to slowly go into overload with that shouting that's been going on. Ereso meanwhile gets out of the cafe (after giving a generous tip, of course) since all he ordered was water and so he decides to continue his recruiting efforts for the posthuman agenda. He sees some purple woman, probably some alien or someone who loves body paint- hard to tell in this part of the galaxy- and decides she would be the perfect candidate for recruiting. He notices that she is accompanied by what seem to be alien cyborgs and that she converses with them. Weird that is- a purple woman in the flesh who knows post-fleshers and still is biology? Maybe she just hasn't done it yet.

Ereso, not content with purple and her cyborg pals begins to look elsewhere even as Hovers continues to try to listen in on their conversations due to believing they are about to kill everyone. Ereso kinda forgets about hovers for a bit as hovers makes itself way too damn obvious.

Ereso walks a bit and than finds himself in some primitive place with bricks and thatch roofs. Ereso's a bit unfamiliar with this, but continues onwards. Ereso sees lots of people to recruit here, however. Lots of good people who deserve posthumanism who need to hear the good news. So Ereso begins to go door-door, trying to talk to people used to a magocratic society about the wonders of cybernetic posthumanism and mind uploading. The first person he meets has no damn clue what he is rambling on about and just hands him some weird stick, the second one just ignores what he is saying and just rubs his arm for some weird reason, the third person, some elf ignores Ereso's blathering and subsisututes it with its own about how technological advancement has degenerated modern civilization or whatever and finally he speaks to an orc who is just completely horrified by implications what Ereso is saying and just runs away.

Eh, could've been worse.

Still, Ereso continues his efforts in this land where surely there is someone who will see the greatness of posthumanism. And he than notices a man with a cowboy hat in some bar ordering drinks. Oh boy, another bar. Taverns and bars are all over this damn planet, some flyer Ereso recalls claimed there's a million of them on this planet alone. A bit dubious, but believable.

Even though Ereso just had a gallon of water, sort of, he enters the bar and takes a seat by Nic/the cowboy with that clunky mechanical horse to tell this man of how great mind uploading is too.

And so, Ereso without even asking begans his spiel to Nic, saying "Hello there cowboy hat man. I am Captain Ereso and I am here to ask you how miserable do you feel? Do you find your body limitting your potential? Theres's a solution for that, it's called mind uploading! Mind uploading is why I am basically like, immortal since if I get killed in this avatar body, I have a back up on my spaceship that I can wake up inside. However, you can't do this without having your mind uploaded to a computer. Now, you don't need to suck your brain out- thta is a myth, you just need to upload your mind which makes a copy mind that you can add to at your leisure, and just hook yourself up with a computer chip so that you are streaming your mind all the time. If your body dies, your mind doesn't! You just get transferred to a cybernetic body instead. You can be whatever body you want- I prefer being a humanoid since I was a human before I was stored into a computer chip and just like being a humanoid, you know. We all like being humanoids. So you don't need to stop being a humanoid even once you fully become posthuman. Don't you deserve better than your body?"
