Just outside of the dorm building, out in the parking lot, total chaos it seemed was overtaking the whole city.
Fires could be seen all through the skies across the city, accompanied by the mixture of sounds of sirens, alarms, horns, screaming and yelling, and lots of gunfire and explosions.
The streets were swarming with frantic people who seemed to be running from something, as well as vehicles racing around, or in some cases directly through those in front of them.
Of all the sounds raging through the air, the screaming and yells of panic and disorientation were the loudest.
Back in the parking lot of the dorm, a young couple were nearby the front door, madly yanking on the doors of a blue four-door Malibu.
Both were adorned only in pajama clothing with hoodies pulled over their tops and tennis shoes on their feet.
The girl yelled frantically from the passenger side of the car," Thomas where are the keys?!"
The young man had stepped back from the car door and was rifling through his hoodie pockets,"I-I must have left them inside!"He replied.
"What!?"The girl cried out, having given up on her door as well.
An angry snarl split the air nearby, as what appeared to be a rather ragged looking police officer came stumbling from behind some nearby shrubs.
His black uniform was dirty looking and torn in places.
His face was pale as a ghost and strained with an angry looking expression and his eyes were blood red.
He was running straight toward the couple who were at the car.
The girl saw him first,"Thomas run!" She screamed, as she and the man both turned and began sprinting off across the parking lot, the grunting, raging police officer running raggedly along behind them.
