Characterization & ConceptualizationIto is a scrawny and frail child. His mop of jet black hair hangs around his ears and he keeps it parted down the middle. His deep brown, almost black eyes are accentuated by heavy dark circles which has earned h the name Tanuki shōnen or Raccoon boy. His body is thin and everythingthat he decides to wear looks as if it is three sizes too big. Standing at a diminutive five foot two inches he is nothing to be impressed with.
What Are They Like?
Ito is a strange amalgamation of personalities. On the one hand he is an absolute coward. He lives in fear of the world around him almost to the point of total seclusion. His greatest fear are the bullies at his school which harass him on almost a daily basis and cause him great terror. One the other hand Ito has a strong sense of wanting to protect people. Those same bullies have a tendency to assault others in their rampage and he wants to do something about it…if only he didn’t have to DIRECTLY get involved.
What's Their Story?
Ito was born in the Kanto prefecture not very far from downtown Tokyo. As one would you from living near such bustling city there was no shortage of danger to be had and Ito's parents took appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of their little one. Growing up Ito saw the dangers of the world around him and it drove him to an almost paralyzing fear and a staunch refusal to leave the safety of his home. Education, however, was another important factor in his parents so he was they were forced to send him to school again his will. School was terrible for him, almost the second he arrivedhe was picked on and physically bullied to the point of coming home with black eyes and busted lips.
Ito had always been brought up with a sense of fair play and having everyone on an even playing field and watching these same bullies torment and pick on everyone, including him, never sat right with him but with his crippling fear he could never confront his assailants. The resulting conflict caused him sleepless nights and endless anxiety to the point where he stopped eating and only drinking coffee or coffee flavored energy drinks. This culminated in what would become his frail his signature frail appearance and dark circles under his eyes giving the name Tanuki shōnen.

Why Did The Wish Choose Them?
A strong personal desire for strength, not necessarily physical strength but the strength to change himself and to conquer his fears and insecurities and become a better person by default. This seems nearly impossible due to his overwhelming fear and anxiety about the world makes it hard for him to understand why anyone would ever pick him for anything.
What "Hero" Will They Embody? Why?
Although it seems like a mistake, Ito will be embody the Hero of Might. It may have been misunderstood about the type of strength, Ito does desire the strength above all else in his life.
