It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

I could be tempted into stirring a rebellion...
@The Fated Fallen, Well, basically, my thoughts were that he managed to gain a lot of prestige in Waldenshore, then (this requires @ArenaSnow's permission) met an Angel, or rather, made it look as though he met an Angel. He then used his newfound knowledge of the Divine to persuade Giray's five major religious Millets to endorse him in his attempts to replace the Girayid Mamlukes and Slave-Bureaucrats with an establishment drawn from the Religious and Racial Millets themselves.

If you like, we could work out a PM Rp arrangement involving meeting an angel :)

(I find that to be my preference in making backstory anyways... feels more "real")

I'm always in for the long run.

We need more like you. Should have been in our core group :)
Oh hey, I remember this RP. After all this time, I never removed it from my list of subscribed... things. Subscription list, I suppose I should have said.

I've been looking for Fantasy RPs as of late. I wonder, if you do choose to make a sequel of sorts, would there be any changes to the character creation rules/guidelines that you can fathom being made?

I believe the rules won't change much. At least, I can't see that happening, unless Icepezz has something in mind.

I see there is a huge discussion going on here about the future of this. Whatever you decide to do next, count me in. I'd love to join.

So long as you're in for the long run, welcome aboard :)

So, we have a vote for a 5 year skip. Anyone else have a thought on it?
One question here that might be important, particularly while I build my chars.

Are all the players going to be on the same mission by the same organization? Or can we make our own organizations as well?
Ping if this goes somewhere; otherwise I'm out until it does.
Welcome :)

It seems the Casual forum would be fitting for you. If you're ambitious, see one that calls itself "High Casual".

Advanced, well, the question sometimes becomes one of how far do you take writing before it becomes a short story :P

Welcome :)

Combat Rp's aren't my specialty myself. I miss details a little too easily, alas :/
I'll leave it to 'Pezz as to how far the time ought to move forward. :)

(@Icepezz sorry :P )

Siegfried is practically immortal. Age doesn't affect him because of the dragon blood.

Fair enough. I assume @The Harbinger of Ferocity has a fairly long-lasting character, and @Belwicket's character is rather young and I believe durable age wise as well; @Jon Y's is pretty young and half-elf; @Letter Bee's is also pretty young.

How long the timeskip will be is the question I think; we have some mortal characters so obviously centuries would take some out of the loop unless they had near-exact descendents. I think a cap of 30 years skip is reasonable; everyone should still be alive at that point from what it looks like unless I missed an active person who has a character that wouldn't last that long. Not in their primes, but at the least it would give them the experience to handle some of the other things cooking up.

Location switch I have taken a liking to, if only for a fresh start, and something that I would think better especially if the timeskip was shortened to say, 5 years or so. It would allow for a unique setting, shift of timelines, leave behind characters that "died" in this RP and give those who want to drop out a story-plausible reason for not being involved. And it would probably help with the rather awkward ending we have here.

Also, what do you folks think of this starting back up post-holidays? I'm thinking that would be most convenient and allow for the holiday slowdown to pass over, and give plenty of time for @IcePezz and myself to build some things up.
