Forum: Casual Roleplay
A relic from my early 2000's gaming memories.
Open for the next 2 hours or so - for reference, the best time I have to get into a group like this in-game.
Despite the rising likelihood of me just going with a simplified text-based format, I'd like to see how many folks could come on at this time.
If the in-game element doesn't work out for a majority of folks and if I can't pull into a good time point for the majority of the group I could still be tempted to do a small group with any who I can get up and running or 1x1 with this being the main BT roleplay...

The mage expected a last pitch attempt to eliminate him, although he did have to admit the bell system was quite intricate. As the floor ruined behind him and stability dropped below him, he made a reflexive jump to the doorway just as a hole opened to swallow him whole.
He turned as a halfling arrived. A quick scan indicated there would be more opponents following the halfling, and ones of magical affinity. The opponent before him was obviously quite magic capable, though he could not pin the exact branch down. Freeform? he wondered. He steeled himself as the halfling raised and prepared a set of daggers and made her threat.
"So you are the slave of the corrupt one," he mused in an overly condescending tone. "I will tell you in two - remove your dark master." There would be more enemies to follow, and while the golem form would not fall to pointy objects, he would rather maintain the illusion; experienced hands would know how to deal with golem constructs. He sent a gust of concentrated wind mostly aimed at knocking the knives out of the air as he turned to walk in the room. He was sent flying when the door made impact with his rear, sending him sprawling and temporarily stunning him before opening again to accept any who would take advantage of the short window of opportunity.

One thing you could do, potentially, is create two groups for games: one based in Europe and one based in the Americas.
In that case I'd be open for a co-gm from Europe or far east US coast. And worst comes to worst we can have a fallback mechanics system to use.

I'll try and get ya in as early as I can this evening... which will probably be later into the night for you unfortunately :/ I'm "working" at the moment... I can do stuff like this but downloading something 1.6+ GB worth probably won't go over well.
Ya know, I've noticed just how skewed setting up matches will end up being if I am supposed to host em.
West Coast here. Most folks here are probably east coast/europe, which means my optimal time of playing in the evening (I'm very, very busy during the day and probably couldn't sustain this then) will land into many people's nights and mornings. Oops. Combined with lack of flexibility I have a feeling I'd either need the luck to have folks be able to squeeze in at my wonked time or we might need to drop the game aspect due to logistical issues, though the BT concept itself would still stand.
