Note; Kolonis's control over illusion and raw experience in the shadows makes her rather privvy to any attempts at concealing one's nature and capable of noting the general idea of what she is interacting with, unless that character in question is able to magically cloak themselves to give no such signal at all. She is not easily fooled.

I don't see why the two are mutually exclusive. They could very well be rivals for influence in Sven's brutal new reign. Heck, I might even chip in a third, though somewhat secondary character to that mix.
