It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

We... well... hmm. I had a phrase. Oh well. Enjoy your stay here, and if you find that word I'm looking for, I'm, ah, looking for it.

1) I'll try to do so if it makes sense. A battle ending in as little as three posts could feel rushed to me most of the time unless they get some good content in those three posts, which is possible given the format here. I was mainly worried because in the arena a post is generally one attack, so someone could kill your battle hardened warrior in only three punches. The way this roleplay works it seems to alleviate that if the post is composed of multiple exchanges.

This is not your average arena posting. You could quite possibly go back and forth several times in the course of a post and describe an entire battle arc from where I'm imagining it.
If I was feeling suicidal, I'd probably take the little spit going out into the water on the left. >.>
I'm inclined to think that people may be best off defining their own resident terrain, or having the terrain textures indicate the type of region it is rather than, say, the forest being an actual big forest. The way the island looks to me, scale wise, makes it so it looks like we're stuffing all this in Greenland or, really, a fraction of Australia. I look at the map and I think it's tiny just for the couple folks that have ample landspace.
Ah, greetings. We have been expecting you.

Welcome :)
@Skylar if you feel it may be better, you can flip rolls with my nation. If that particular set is your thing >.>
You'll more likely get interest in one of the main interest check sections.
