Because it forces their cells to collapse upon themselves. However, its only if enough of my soul is present. With that knowledge, if that soul was dispersed in a bomb-like fashion, it may only hit them like a small sandstorm, and not do enough damage.

I try to incentivize them to join me with free food and shelter, but most tend to stay within their own worlds to protect them. Not all find the idea of leaving their home to protect other dimensions.

A being who can go between dimensions decimated it. A few of us were able to escape from the after effects of his destruction. After finding out that I could travel between dimensions myself, I decided to help others who are unable to defend themselves or recover from these threats.
