This looks really interesting, and I would love to join, a few questions though, do I have to use a face-claim, do I have to have much prior walking dead knowledge, and if I have a good reason, could I give my character a gun even though they have little to no experience or ammunition?

You definitely don't need any prior TWD knowledge, no worries. We aren't using anything from the series beyond the setting and that's your pretty standard zombie apocalypse scenario (just people don't tend to say the word zombie). One gun is fine and even better if he has little experience with it.

You can just use a detailed written description if you feel more comfortable with that. I can understand the pains of using face claims at times. Though, what kind of look are you going for? I tend to just use a face claim directory online to find people.

To be clear, I specifically asked for no military as opposed to police officers, as that is what I have encountered more often in these RPs. There are no rules being broken on that front. Avoiding backgrounds with firearms experience is more a guideline than a rule. However, I would indeed start imposing it as a hard rule if any other hunters or officers popped up.

I did talk with Damo in PMs and it isn't final yet if either Turisa or Imogen will have been a part of Faith yet or will be just arriving, so whether there is a weapon discrepancy between community members is something we'll deal with later.

@Damo021 Sorry to have jumped the gun here. I'm gonna ask that you remove the 9mm Berretta from Imogen and the Maverick Model 88 from Turisa.

I should mention that, as a whole, the people of Faith are not exactly religious. I envision that some are but it's just a matter of circumstances for a lot of them.

I think we have most of the people who expressed interest now and can probably start soon. Maybe I'll give it another day or two.
