This looks really interesting, and I would love to join, a few questions though, do I have to use a face-claim, do I have to have much prior walking dead knowledge, and if I have a good reason, could I give my character a gun even though they have little to no experience or ammunition?
How's this? Haven't done an appearance yet 'cus I'm not really sure of a pic to give him (wouldn't mind some help on that front).
Appearance: (It’s preferred you use live-action pictures for your characters. You may also use portraits or art if it's realistic in style. If you have trouble finding these kinds of images, feel free to ask me for assistance. Images can be accompanied by a written description if you’d like.)
Weaknesses: Most physical attributes, including but not limited to, lifting, running, firearms, hand-to-hand combat, intimidation. Ray is particularly easily rattled and can be frightened easily by loud noises.
Bio: Ray was born in Hawaii but at the tender age of 4 months moved with his family of two older sister and his parents to the beautiful state of North Carolina, where he grew up around the Rocky Mountains in the small town of Burnsville, where he was taught by his older sisters how to camp and forage. Though at the age of 3 he was diagnosed with autism, that did not slow his development and academic success. Always finding socializing frustrating and sticking to the norm of his one or two friends, and his sisters he academically thrived throughout school, however, he struggled with physical activities due to his slight form and light build, it would be later discovered he had brittle bones. After school, he went on to study architecture and become a semi-successful civil engineer with a small town in Indiana, due to his aunt being one of the government officials there. After a late-night beating, he got admitted to hospital in a critical condition, healing at a normal pace, this event scared him so much he bought a gun a small box of ammunition, he carried on with his normal life afterward, however, the experience traumatized him, leading him to be easily shaken and scared. When the outbreak started he managed to escape with his aunt, they survived together, barely, trying to contact their family in North Carolina, after his aunt was killed on a foraging escapade and Ray managed to contact the small community in Fort Wayne via his homebrewed Ham radio and made his way there on his Moped.
Equipment/vehicles: Glock 17 (no ammunition), wooden plank, Soldering iron and wire, homemade Ham radio, ragged boots, dark cloak, harmonica, Red moped.
Update, I have adjusted, I apologize to everyone on missing those and forgetting to take them out. :)
Thank you for making the changes.

You definitely don't need any prior TWD knowledge, no worries. We aren't using anything from the series beyond the setting and that's your pretty standard zombie apocalypse scenario (just people don't tend to say the word zombie). One gun is fine and even better if he has little experience with it.
You can just use a detailed written description if you feel more comfortable with that. I can understand the pains of using face claims at times. Though, what kind of look are you going for? I tend to just use a face claim directory online to find people.

Before the end : Leda was a radio-host, "podcaster," and a street, studio, and performance artist. Many would also call her a comedian-- though this claim will be met with blushes and demands to "shut the fuck up." How one stumbles onto a career path of artistry and brushing shoulders with, as her parents would put it "liberal New York types" is merely a matter of placing a generally creative person in an incredibly mundane childhood, with those same overly conservative parents-- the more direct a transplant from Vietnam you could get, the better. Add in enough weed and booze during her high-school years to murder a small village full of elephants-- and suddenly you've got a true bohemian "New York liberal" artsy type that your parents warned you about!
The story of her life after the end is much more interesting! It is a tale of adventure and heartbreak, of beating death at every turn and finding hope after the end! Or, so that's what a storyteller like Leda would say, if she felt like entertaining a crowd. In truth, Leda has friends from New York to LA, and everywhere in between-- all flavors of fellow artists and actors... among other industry types. These people were the reason that Leda was on a nearly 2 year long couch surfing trip through the apocalypse, bumming the couches of what was once a close knit network of former influencers who stuck together to survive. This worked for a while-- until one day it didn't. The price for knowledge in the new world was her eye. Though she survived her encounter-- she hadn't really recovered until the Faith found her. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Leda Kieu | 33 | Female | 5'5" | 160lbs | Weapon(s) : M1891 Bolt Action Rifle , 'Louisville Slugger' ____________________________________________________________________________________________
Skills and talents : - While she wasn't world famous, Leda was an entertainer and artist. As an entertainer, she does have some skill in improv and 'lying' to pull off a character. As well as this, she can be charismatic when she wants to be. - On the art side-- she was a near renaissance woman. She possesses at least some measure of amateurish skill in most methods for creating gallery art. This can manifest in a roundabout knowledge of carpentry when considering her work with sculpture. - While it took Leda more time than most to acclimate to the new realities of the world, acclimate she did! She's trained in keeping whatever problem you see away, as this was how her and her friends got by, with minimal encounters and maximal scavenging. She is a decent scout, good at identifying decent scavenge, and has trained in the use of rifles for sniping and long-range marksmanship with a good shot, despite the loss of her eye. Her current mosin-nagant is older, and only has 3 bullets.
Finished a character, finally. Can change anything if she's trash!

Bio: The older sibling, Rory was always the more easy-going of the two Steel children. This easy nature quickly went from cute to bemusing for Rory’s mother and step-father as he grew up. As notes of school absences and failing grades began to pile up. Physical Education being the only seeming positive on his reports, Rory was quickly jousted into as many sports as possible. This led to him not being home much aside from going to bed and this continued on even as he finished secondary education. Not one with the idea of college looking great to him. Rory quickly went around the world travelling with the many friends he had obtained over his sporting endeavours. He was having a reunion with his sister when it had all went to hell. They’ve been together since, bonded by blood and surviving.
Bio: Born in San Diego. Isabelle was a quiet reserved child. Which was a happy reprieve for her parents compared to her more wild brother. Someone who was clearly talented yet decision. Isabelle was put into clubs her parents thought would give her more life experience.
Her quiet and now standoffish nature rubbing other kids the wrong way. She spent most of her time alone. Her family life often strained, the arguements may have ended when Rory left. But She lost her dear friend and was faced with the full pressure of her parents to succeed.
Having graduated with a degree of mathamatics, Isabelle was beginning the career ladder when she was called out of blue by her brother. Little did she know that as got onto a train it would be the last time she would see anyone there again.
Just a few questions for the characters: where did they live/grow up? Where did Rory travel and where were the pair when the apocalypse started? And did you plan to have them have any weaponry?
She lost it about a year in. Her artist friends knew about how it happened-- but they're all dead now, and she pretty much just lies to everyone else about it, telling all kinds of stories, depending on how she'd like the other person to feel, or feel about her.
I would say it's actually helped her in the long run, especially after getting better treatment from a settlement. It was one of the things that pushed her into accepting the world as it is. Her depth perception is shit because of it-- but it has improved her long range shooting capacity, actually as her right eye was dominant and with monocular vision it's a lot easier for her to be looking at things at a distance-- she closed her left eye to shoot anyway, and now she doesn't need to focus on sending any energy to it, at least, that's why she thinks she's a better sniper-- in truth she doesn't know, but it is a common phenomenon among hunters who lose eyes.
Basically, it made her more effective at longer ranges-- which is how she prefers to deal with things-- but up close and mid range she's so useless with a gun it's basically just a waste of bullets to give her one.
I can include all this in the CS-- I just wanted it to be compact and pretty like the people here who I'm trying to impress. Don't worry that includes you lmao.
Across the globe so to Australia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Russia, Japan, Brazil etc. He's a world travelled man and now he's stuck in indiana. Which is bad, maybe. I haven't judged their food yet.
Their not in Faith, but caught wind of the bus by chance and followed them to the community.
Isabelle has a bow, with a few arrows. Rory has a pistol and a knife.
