Female, 24. I live in the tundra. If I list my interests, I'll break the character limit.
Writing/RPing:
I prefer realistic settings, but I can be pliable. Not big on Fandom RPs unless it's one I'm really into. No anime either. I'm kinda picky in general. RPing is pretty much the only way I can write. I can't think up plots, so I wouldn't make a good GM I think. Maybe in the future. For me writing is like doodling; it's a creative release, but I'm not an artist. I'm not great at writing romance either, and I refuse to write sex scenes with any more detail than 'tastefully fade to black'.
Availability:
I work full time, but I should still have time for RPing. Illness doesn't stop me, and if I can't get a post up I will say so in the OOC. Thursdays are out.

Excellent. One more person with good taste, one less person I have to harrass for not seeing it.
My BFF's reaction to it was priceless. She walked in tired as hell from working and listening to me hype up the movie so much about how great it is, then when it was over I peeked over at her and she was gripping the seat. And then on our way out she said, awestruck, "You really weren't kidding...EVERY ACTION MOVIE SHOULD BE LIKE THAT!"
Though earlier during that same viewing there were two guys who heard Theron say 'guzzoline' then just shook their heads and left. Sigh. Some people just hate fun.

Yes, yes it was. (And that's really the only way to describe it; fucking awesome) I saw it 3 times. 
I was hoping for a fourth time, but alas. It's actually topped my favorite action movies list, beating Terminator 2 and Die Hard.
It's maddening, because of all the people I dragged to went with to go see it, only one person (my best friend) loved it as much as I did. Sigh
edit: Unless you're talking Godzilla Final Wars in that case, also awesome but dear god see Fury Road when it makes it to Dvd/blu ray

Ever since I fell head over heels in love with Mad Max Fury Road (see new avatar), I've had an epiphany that I actually love all things ridiculous. And older action movies in general, and cars blowing up. I should've realized this when I was clapping and gleefully laughing like an idiot as I watched Godzilla Final Wars.
I mean, you can either roll your eyes at the ridiculous, or you can embrace it, and suddenly the ridiculous becomes the ridiculously awesome.
Let me see if I can remember what I'd read, it's been a few years. I started Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and got to the beginning of part 4, and there was Vinland Saga (in which there was a guy who threw TREES around with his MIGHTY VIKING STRENGTH), plus there was Beelzebub, which is actually where my old avatar came from. I kinda remember starting One Piece too, but again it was a while ago.

Oh no, I didn't make my tone clear enough; the less I metagame, the more fun I have. And it usually involves maniacal giggling. Seriously though, I think it gets me more into character, trying to put myself in their shoes knowing only what they know.
