@Jig Oooh, sounds neat. I'd be down for playing that, especially since I joined a similar style RP ages ago, made a character and npc buddy that I really really liked and never got to use them since it died pretty fast. Not sure if I'd be able to CoGM that since I've never done it before and I work full time now, and doing personal stuff on the company's pcs is a tetch frowned upon.

Writing/RPing:
I prefer realistic settings, but I can be pliable. Not big on Fandom RPs unless it's one I'm really into. No anime either. I'm kinda picky in general. RPing is pretty much the only way I can write. I can't think up plots, so I wouldn't make a good GM I think. Maybe in the future. For me writing is like doodling; it's a creative release, but I'm not an artist. I'm not great at writing romance either, and I refuse to write sex scenes with any more detail than 'tastefully fade to black'.
Availability:
I work full time, but I should still have time for RPing. Illness doesn't stop me, and if I can't get a post up I will say so in the OOC. Thursdays are out.

@MyCatGinger If it helps I love your writing, you most certainly belong here. And nothing could be as bad as the story in the edit I just made to my earlier post, so there's that. I much prefer Jonas to Rikki myself; he might be a walking Fargo reference but at least he's not basically me but neurotic like Rikki was.

Edit: One of the great and hideous fears in my life is that my ex-friend-who-used-to-be-my-best-friend-until-a-falling-out-but-we're-sorta-friendly-now-but-not-really actually still has a story/fanfiction monstrousity type thing I wrote for my friends when I was in middle school. I've noticed that this is one of the few RPs where I can read back on my own writing and not hate it. Usually when I look back on my stuff that's only even a week old and I want to set it on fire. When I reread this I feel pretty okay about it. I'm not as in love as when I first wrote it, but I don't want to smother it. So that's something.

For me it's a creative release, and an easy one since other people help and the GM does most of the work. Recently I've been coming to terms with the fact that I'm not as creative as I thought I was, or would like to be. I can't really think up my own stories or interesting plots, but I can make characters, give them backstories and mess with them.

I refuse to panic. I've been writing little flashbacks for Jonas in the meanwhile. Not to use in the RP or anything, just fleshing out his background for personal use.
Hmm, that would a decision for our mostly benevolent GM and squad commander, Jig. I certainly wouldn't mind another player pal, but it's Jig's call, especially since everything is so meticulously planned.
