I've decided to take a break. I haven't been enjoying roleplaying as much lately, and I know it will start to show in my replies if I don't take some time away from the site. Sorry to my partners!
I've recently returned from a hiatus and excited to start some new roleplays! I'm more than happy to do the heavy lifting in terms of propelling the story forward if you're someone who prefers to just focus on your character rather than a lot of worldbuilding, but I'm also more than happy to brainstorm ideas and make the worldbuilding a collaborative affair I'm very open to my partners ideas for the RP and only ask for the same in return! I do enjoy having some romance in my stories and I can do FxM or FxF pairings.
While I am over 18 and would prefer my roleplay partners be 18+ as well since it's just more comfortable for me that way, I'm not looking for smut. I'm fine with mature themes like language, violence, and gore within reason, but when it comes to sex in a story, my preference is fade to black.
I have a few plots listed below. If you're interested in any of them, please PM me! Also, these ideas are just concepts and can certainly be tweaked or reworked to include my partners' ideas and preferences. Also, I will probably add some new plots in the future.
A story where our characters are high schoolers who are invited to play a new video game, but when they start playing, they get transported into the game. A fantasy world where they belong to a guild of dungeon delving adventures whose objective is to reach the lowest level of a monster-infested dungeon and slay the dragon in order to win the game. But no one has ever completed the task, or even come close for that matter. Each time our characters die in the dungeon, they are reborn in the village, mature rapidly, and then have to go back down once again. Can they ever defeat the dungeon? Or are they doomed to repeat the process forever?
After surviving the sinking of his ship, a sailor washes ashore an island that is inexplicably lost in time with dinosaurs and other extinct animals roaming the island. He is nearly killed by one of these creatures when he is suddenly saved by a young woman who seems primitive in his eyes, but also more than capable of handling herself. The woman brings him back to her village, where the sailor discovers that the inhabitants of the village are all women. The tribe has managed to eke out an existence on the primeval island, but he has knowledge from a more advanced society that could improve their chances of survival. Does he stay to help them? Or does he seek a way off the island?
This story is about two teenage girls who have nothing in common and have actually hated each other for as long as they've known each other. One is popular and comes from a wealthy family who have spoiled her. The other is from a troubled home and has struggled to fit in her entire life. The two girls suddenly find themselves in the same predicament, however, when they both learn that they're pregnant. Abandoned by their families and friends, the girls are forced to move into an apartment together. Will they grow closer as they lean on one another for support? Or will their new living arrangement only cause them to hate each other even more?
Set after an alien invasion of the Earth, human beings have been defeated and the alien invaders now rule the planet as overlords, and have started terraforming the Earth to better suit their needs. But the aliens haven't exterminated the human race. The invaders have developed a taste for human meat and so they have started keeping human but livestock. A few humans have managed to escape this fate and are hiding out, preparing for a resistance, but they are facing overwhelming odds and their chances of defeating the aliens are slim to say the least.
Goblins! Weak, wretched, selfish monsters that are slain by adventures in droves. But they deserve it, don't they? Let's play things out from the other side. Instead of heroic adventures delving into dungeons, we play as goblins from a small tribe that was driven from their home by adventures and forced to relocate. Now settled in a new home in a mountain, the goblins start to do as goblins do. But with a human village in the valley below the mountain, and an elven settlement in the forest nearby, how long will it be before they encounter their neighbors? And will it lead to a conflict that forces the goblins to once again relocate in order to survive?
A group of friends, either in high school or college, are helping to clean out the attic for one of their grandparents when they come across a strange book bound in black leather. Inside, it is completely blank save for the first page, where it explicitly says any wish made in writing in the book with come true. One of them decides to try it out, and sure enough, it works. But power of the book is not as benevolent as it seems. As more wishes are made, the book starts to twist the words of written with its pages, giving them what they want, but interpreting it in a way that the wishes become more like cruel punishments.
A family or a group of friends decides to sit down and play the board game, the Game of Life, but within minutes of starting, they find themselves in a Jumanji-like situation where everything in the game happens in real life. Every time they spin the wheel and move their piece forward on the board, they age in real life. Every time they land on a square, they find themselves dealing with a random, life-altering event. Can they reach the end of the game and revert things back to normal? Or will a random event destroy their real life as well as their in-game life?
