You can call me Schiraz or Mune. I am a 28 years old woman from Europe, and while English is not my first language, I consider myself fluent.
I've been roleplaying for around 15 years now. My journey with this hobby started on Tumblr in the Supernatural fandom. Looking back at my writing from that time, I can say I had grown a lot.
After years, I moved on to Destiny 2 and persisted in it for a couple of years, but unfortunately not only our group sort of dissipated, but I also lost the love for the game (thanks Bungie), and for the world itself. It made me move over to Reddit and Discord to look for people but I feel like I hit a wall lately...
So the forums it is!
My favorite genre is hard science fiction - no aliens, just humanity in the Solar system struggling with itself, where travel between planets and stations takes months, Earth's population clings to regions which weren't ravaged by the climate change, resources are scarce, governments don't see the hardships of regular people, war looms over the system, police is corrupt, black markets flourish, augmentation, body modification, and human trials are nothing out of the ordinary, and space is an unforgiving, hostile environment.
Think a mix of The Expanse, Cyberpunk 2077, Detroit: Become Human, Minority Report, Robocop, Dredd, AI: Artificial Intelligence. All the best and all the worst our species can come up with, from futuristic sky-scrapers to dilapidated stations, from medical advancements to horrible consequences of human augmentation, and from paragons of the new world to complete renegades.
I do not write smut of any kind but I do not stray from other mature topics. Most of my ideas revolve around what makes us human, what pushes us to do the worst, what makes us strive to be better, where do we draw the line, and which lines are we willing to cross. Most of my stories include romance, and while I do appreciate a SoL moments, the relationships I aim for are rarely wholesome. Or maybe they are, just among the depravity of one or both parties, and according to the standards of such characters.
It doesn't mean I don't write nice things but for me to enjoy those, I want them to be earned, carved out by our characters in the cold, cruel world.
Aside from science fiction, I'm interested in zombie apocalypse, but if something catches my eye, I'm willing to give it a try.
My favorite style of roleplay is 1 on 1, since group roleplays are mostly too dynamic for me. Though, that might be different on a forum. I write mostly in 3rd person, past tense, but I can switch it up to present tense if that's what my partner prefers. When it comes to length, I tend to do 2-3 paragraphs at minimum but can go much longer if the mood and the scene allows.
Outside of roleplay I spend my time playing FFXIV, programming, and occasionally drawing. If I'm not doing one of those or at work, I'm most likely outside, touching grass.
