Me and Sep are trying to work through our collab post, but me not feeling so hot lately and conflicting schedules sort of slowing us down. Hopefully though it shall be up by week's end!
Sorry for the absence guys! Been having a rough week, but I should be able to easily post tomorrow. Get things moving to let you guys get some character development in before some big event happens.

Less chat, more post!GM, if you could bump things along please that would be great. The non-posters could simply be a bit late to roll-call.

Good thinking! Moving things along momentarily!
Am I really the only one to make any reference to this in regards to Winter???

According to what I've looked up, which is literally just looking things up on Wikipedia if I'll be totally honest, there were two productions of the BAR, the M1918 and the M1922, along with a few improvements/redesigns, the M1918A1 and M1918A2. According to what I looked up, the US army apparently tried to get out conversion kits to swap all BARs to the M1918A2 but couldn't get enough conversion kits out there to get them all. Now, I know just about zero about guns, so I really couldn't tell the difference between them all, so I just chose one at random. I can swap to the M1918 if it really bothers anyone though.

Just stick with the mechanic. Now that I really think about it, the witches missions aren't really going to involve any regular soldiers, and if they do, tanker or infantry, they will be pretty much cannon fodder. I'll read over your CS in detail a little later, but it looks good from a distance.

Anyway, LOST CAUSE! FREAKING GET YUR ASS TO THE IC AND POST ALREADY GOD DAMMIT! AND RIN!!! How are you? Hope that sickness isn't getting the best of you! Take care and post when you feel better! LOST CAUSE!? WHAT DID I JUST SAY!? STOP EATING THE FRUITY SNACKS AND WORK ON AN IC POST ALREADY!!!

(plz?) XD

Why do I feel compelled to ask, but also know that its probably best not to.....

Post shall be up tonight detailing Alysa's Vertibird insertion with the reinforcement wave.

Quick question: Where'd he get his Pipboy from?

I would assume the Vault he came from, but I think the better question is, where did he get the robotic arm? Or better yet, why?

A LAER ("Laser Assisted Electrical Rifle") with an auxiliary recharger chip.
A typical AEP7 laser pistol with both focused optics and recycler modifications.
A Proton Throwing Axe
Miscellaneous items:
When Enclave forces found Alysa, she wasn't carry much of anything. Only some microfusion cells for the rifle and pistol along with just a few bottles of irradiated water. Though now they have equipped her with a precision laser cutter/welder(A small, pen sized version), some slag for welding, some wiring, some spare crystalline optics, and other small amounts of various items to use in basic circuit board or energy supply repair in the field.
Biography:
Like many born into the irradiated wastelands of North America, life started off hard for Alysa. Her mother had died giving birth to her, and her father, while a loving one, suffered from an addiction. It was not one of drugs, of drink, or of prostitution, his addiction was scavenging. They were always on the move, constantly searching remote prewar ruins hoping to find the next big item. Despite her father always reminding her that they were "prospectors" and not scavengers, Alysa failed to see the difference as they went hungry for third, or fifth night. Though Alysa could never hate her father, despite constantly putting them in danger to feed his thrill seeking addiction. She saw, even from a young age, that he loved her and still wanted the best for her.

When Alysa was around the age of fourteen, her father had discovered something big. While picking through the ruins of an old prewar lab, they discovered a terminal that held some surprising information. According the computer, a massive prewar laboratory known as the Big Mountain Research and Development Center was the center of advance prewar technology. Along with some extensive information about the facility, there were coordinates to its location. Alysa's father could not resist the "opportunity of a life time" to score some big, valuable prewar technology, so with little supplies and little to no caps, they set off to Big MT to make their fortune. When they arrived on the outskirts however, they were met with a far more terrifying reality.

Soon after they had arrived, they were quickly captured by patrolling robots. At the facility, she and her father were quickly split up. With the Courier taking most of the technology and abandoning Big MT, the Think Tank wanted new test subjects to develop replacements for the items the courier "stole". Alysa was saved from the normal lobotomizing that the Auto Doc. usually gave, because of the needs of their planned test for her, but they did end up replacing her spine and various organs with synthetic versions. Her spine in particular was the first step in their experiment on her. When Alysa eventually awoke from her surgery, she found that she was wearing a tightly fitted suit.

"Hello! How are you today?" an electronic female voice said. Alysa quickly looked around, confused. "What's wrong? I fail to detect anyone. Are you lost?" the voice asked.

"Wh... Who are you...?"

"I'm your new best friend! I help you hide! I keep you alive! We are the best of friends!" said the voice. Despite the creepy wording, Alysa oddly felt safer hearing this. There was almost a tone of sincerity and innocence in the voice that comforted Alysa.

As it turned out, one of the many items the Courier had taken from Big MT was the Stealth Suit Mk II. Determined to beat Mobius, the Think Tank devised away to recreate the needed objects to face him, thus they decided to reinvent the Stealth Suit. Her suit in many aspects was a technological wonder. It employed similar technologies of the Y-17 trauma override harnesses, with intelligent fibers and integrated AI systems. It seemed they had focused more on the medical aspect of the Stealth Suit instead of the stealth value, as user preservation became top priority. Thus a slightly upgraded AI from the Stealth Suit Mk II was created for the Mk III and now it could not only automatically apply pain killers and stimpacks, but vastly accelerate the user's recovery, but like many of the technologies to come out of Big MT, there was a horrific draw back. The user becomes literally bonded with the suit. Alysa's replacement spine directly connects with the suit to insure complete compatibility with the suit and if it were to be removed, Alysa would die within minutes. Her body and suit had become one, and in the process, her hair color and skin color became paler and paler as a result of the augmentations of the suit. Soon her eyes went to a faded purple from the HUD integration, her hair totally white, and her skin a ghostly white, leaving behind any trace of her former wastelander self.

For the next four years, Alysa served as a lab rat, constantly running the mazes set up by the Think Tank. Though her experience, she schemed, she plotted, she desperately tried to devise a way to escape with her friendly AI, despite the AI being somewhat of an "air head". Through the constant sneaking, testing, fighting, sneaking, rinse and repeat, Alysa began to pick up skills. As part of her plan, she began to teach herself about the complex world of prewar higher technology. Through occasionally disabling robots to dissect and learn about them to physically hacking and bypassing certain security locks and computers, Alysa began to become well acquainted with intricate high technologies that constantly surrounded her. When the Think Tank picked up on this and confronted her about it, she came up with the excuse that she would need the knowledge to maintain her suit. After a lengthy internal debate, the Think Tank permitted her to fully research and develop her advance technological engineering skills, even teaching her a thing or two, yet escape seemed still very far off for Alysa as they tightened security of the lab in response. Though luck seem to favor Alysa in her time of need. Mobius was able to "capture" her and bring her to his layer. There, he confirmed her suspicions of the Think Tank and explained to her the situation. When she asked about her father, he tried to avoid talking about it. After constantly demanding an answer, he gave in, telling her he was located in the X-8 research facility. With a borrowed AER9 and pistol, she left to confront the fate of her father.

It was a massive testimony to the fact that the Think Tank's sense of humanity had disappeared forever. She found her father eventually, or what was left of him. He had been subjected to various genetic and splicing experiments, none of which left him in a recognizable state.

Alysa left the Big MT, never wanting to turn back.

A year wandering later, Alysa had learned of the Enclave to the North and decided to investigate to see what they were all about, but as luck would have it, she would quiet literally run into them. She came upon an Enclave recon party under attack by soldiers of the Brotherhood of Steel. These power armor clad soldiers heavily outnumbered the recon squad, and from Alysa's position, it was apparent they had many casualties.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN TEN MINUTES!? WE HAVE VITAL INTEL TO A BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL BASE AND YOU CAN'T FUCKING EVAC US!?" yelled the team leader into a radio as bullets kicked up all around his cover. A wounded power armored squadmate leaned from behind his cover to open fire, only to get a concentrated beam of hot energy into his face. Suddenly the gun fire around them started to pittled out, and they began hearing yelling from the Brotherhood of Steel soldiers, as if there was a struggle going on, but then silence quickly followed. The squad leader peaked from behind his cover with rest of the squad to see just in time an enemy soldier fall from his cover with an odd glowing blue hand axe sticking out his back. A strange young woman came from behind the soldier's cover and yanked the axe out. She waved to the Enclave squad and put her hands up.

"Hello there! Are you by chance part of the Enclave?" she asked. The squad looked at each other with baffled confusion before the squad leader replied.

"Uhh... Yes, we are. Who are you?"

"Oh me? I'm Alysa! I don't mean any harm, just thought you guys might need a hand."

They lowered their weapons and approached her. Alysa began to explain her story to her, and the leader determined it was probably best if she came back with them. Back at their base, she was handed over to the research team, where at first she was weary of them, but after they explained their motives, the Enclaves goal, and evils of the Brotherhood of Steel, she allowed them to run tests on her to learn more about the suit. After three more years of testing, research, and training, the high command wanted to deploy her onto the battlefield to test the limits of the suit. In one year alone, thanks to the massive increase of endurance from the suit, she was doing combat ops day in and day out with various Enclave units. Due to her good record and technological advantages as well as her experience with complex technologies, they saw her as one of the perfect candidates of Eagle Claw, and transferred her over. This way, when Eagle Claw's power armored clad soldiers or uniquely/custom made energy weapons began to degrade in a long field operation, there was someone among them that had the skills to understand and fix their problem. Of course, there's only so much one can do with a laser and some wiring.

Extra:
Alysa has grown very fond of the AI in the suit, seeing as her only real friend, thus sometimes it will seem like she's talking to herself, when she's really talking to the AI.
Oh yeah, should I head over to the barracks and post my character now?
