Current First post after nearly a month of inactivity. Here's hoping I can get back into a good post routine before long.

Managed to burn both my thumbs and index fingers pulling a tray of cookies out of the oven. I trusted you, oven mitts, and you betrayed me.

RP’s that amass a good player base and have a good start only to suddenly die are why I have trust issues.

Civilians are an asset! You kill them, they're gone!
Guys, the thermal drill, go get it.
Been really bad at keeping up to date :/ sorry if that's caused any problems, I'll do better to stay on top of things.
*Looks at due date for RP post. Looks at 6 page report due tomorrow.*
I CAN'T CHOOSE!!
Hi there, @Awesomoman64. I see you watching.

This made me laugh XD

I'm actually here pretty much once or twice a day, i just get logged off and don't log back in unless posting. Sorry if I made you think I was losing interest as well, I feel quite the opposite actually. While were still in the slowish setup phase, I just makes me more and more eager to see how some of the character/story arcs start to rise and unfold.
Trad Oak – Practice

Trad waited until Ms. Vanhomrigh finished her instructions before responding to Marcus’s offer.

“Nah, you two both seem like you were born with rifles, I’d probably get my ass handed to me.” He was no stranger to guns himself, but as father always said, Just because you learned how to swim doesn’t mean you should race the fish.

Slipping the safety glasses on, Trad picked up one of the rifles he had been inspecting earlier along with a magazine. After heading to an empty spot on the range he grabbed the headphones slung around his neck. Stretching them out to put them on he stopped to listen as Ms. Vanhomrigh began scolding the pink girl for pulling out her own weapon.

“Poor girl.” Trad said to himself, he couldn’t help but pity her. So far she had been late to not one, but two classes they had been in, and she failed the obstacle course. Now she missed key instruction and was being drilled by Ms. Vanhomrigh. Yet she didn’t appear to be giving in.

Turning back to his own lane, he replaced his headphones on his ears and picked up his rifle. Plugging the magazine in securely and pulling the latch back he lifted the rifle to his shoulder and put the stock firmly against it. Clicking the safety off, he lowered his head to the rifle and readied his site.

The second the target popped up, Trad squeezed the trigger. A little too hasty for his liking, but he had four other shots to take is time on. Taking deep breaths and steadying his aim, he fired of the last four shots each with careful concentration.

Watching his target lower Trad felt confident he at least kept within the middle 3 circles.

“Ahh!”

Quickly turning toward the scream, he saw Robert flailing about as if a bee were on him. Trad simply shook his head and spoke softly, “Those two were probably made for each other.”
Trad Oak – Practice

“Well, not exactly.” Trad turned his gaze to the ground, he knew someone would ask that sooner or later. “Let’s just say I wasn’t technically accepted here until a few hours ago.” He wasn’t ashamed to admit his failure, but he rather not go around telling everyone about it. Besides, he was just getting to know this guys, he didn’t even know his name.

“Ah, there’s time for stories later. Let’s get to the range before we get our heads ripped off.” Trad changed the subject mostly so they could get a move on, he dared not imagine what Vanhomrigh would do if they lagged behind. “My names Trad by the way.” He held out his hand to the tank driver, but couldn’t help but notice pain in his voice as he called out another student’s time. “You alright? Didn’t hurt yourself on the course did you? ”
Trad Oak – Practice

4:59…4…50…..9. Trad couldn’t have been more disappointed at his time. True he did technically pass when several others had failed, but he was still trying to prove he belonged here. He was going to have to give it another go.

That is, until Vanhomrigh announced they were moving on.

Trad watched as nearly all of the class packed up their gear and headed out, with only a few staying behind due to unsatisfactory times. Taking a deep breath, Trad walked back to his gear and buckled the back on. He represented his team in this class, how would it look if he had to stay back and redo the course who knows how many times. Besides, 4:59 was passing, and he’d get plenty more chances to improve on the course. Checking to make sure everything was secure, he saw the tank driver walking past.

“Mind if I hitch a ride to the range?” asked mostly as a joke.
