"My name is Mulan." She gives a respectful bow to her. "I am also vice president of the disciplinary committee. Its my job report rule breakers in the school."

Mulan looks around the room. "Kiara, Kovu's girlfriend, used to live here. She went missing a few days ago. We're not sure whether she's simply skipping class or..."

She doesn't finish the sentence. Instead she scans Juliette suspiciously. "May I ask a few questions about you?"

"Well... The book felt like a bad piece of fiction. I skimmed across the pages, looked for the names of places. I found two, but the paragraphs surrounding that explicate explained that sniffers left those cities. Like an exodus. If the story is true, sniffers shouldn't be extinct. There's just no way to find them..."

The introduction pages explained the nature of them. Sniffers don't use magic, its some sort of genetic defect that makes them part animal. Nothing separates sniffers from any other magic user. They can blend in among any group of mages and remain undetected with their astonishing ability.

The school bell rings. Class is about to start.

"Screw this." Shenzi announces, "if magicka screws me over for this, I'll make you pay." She storms off, the other two boys follow her, hissing and laughing.

Shock, Lock, and Barrel

Name:Lock
Appearance: Boniestmember of the group. Shockingly pale skin, likes to dress in the color red.

Primary ability: Ability to summon a Devil's Pitchfork when ever he pleases
Preferred magic: Pyromancy
Personality: Lock is 14 years old and the leader of Oogie's Boys, but does not think thoroughly and actually appears to be just the second most intelligent. Lock wears a devil costume; his teeth are pointed sharply, his face is narrow and long-jawed, and his hair is waxed into two horns making him, literally, a handsome devil. His barbed tail is actually real and connected to his body. He loves being large and in charge, and gets upset when others insult him or take the lead. However, he goes along with others' ideas if he cannot come up with anything himself. Without his mask he might not have horns but his handle bar style hair makes it look really close. Judging from his lines in the film, he appears to be the most violent and malicious of the group, making him the most dangerous of the three.

Name: Shock
Appearance: Shock, the only girl of the group, is the tallest, being only slightly taller than Lock, as well as the thinnest. She is dressed as a witch, wearing a purple witch's hat that is about the same height (perhaps even taller) than her. Her hair is wiry and blue, the same color as the makeup she wears around her eyes. She also seems have blue lips and has deathly gray skin, both being traits all three children share. Her face and neck are quite long and her nose is enormous and pointed, taking up most of her face. Shock's mask is a plain green one that sports the same large nose as her own face, and its mouth is set in a deep frown. She wears a pink dress with a dark purple hem, as well as black boots. Aside from her face, her skin appears to be a dark, almost black, purple.

Preferred magic: Curses
Personality: Shock is 15 years old and the most cunning, the most intelligent, and the only female of Oogie's minions. She has some contempt for the other two for their supposed stupidity, and often challenges Lock for leadership, but ends up following his orders anyway. Shock wears a purple witch costume with an elongated hat. There is no difference between her mask and her face, other than the former's green color and lack of any features (except eye-holes and a nose). She is usually quick to patch up any arguments between her and the boys, if not with the nicest methods. She also knows how to bake.

Name: Barrel
Appearance: Barrel is the shortest and most rotund of the trio, sporting the same pale gray skin and blue lips as his friends. His head is spherical and he has short, pale green hair. His nose is very small when compared to Lock and Shock's, and it is upturned. His eyes are quite close together and appear to be sunken in, though this could just be an illusion created by the dark makeup around them. Barrel dresses up like a skeleton, wearing tattered purple pants and a like-colored shirt. Both of these pieces of clothing are decorated with bones roughly corresponding to their locations in the human body. His feet are oddly shaped, with three toes of the same length. It isn't clear if they are part of his costume or his real feet. His mask is that of a skull; a simple, round, white mask with the mouth being bare teeth set in a wide grin, reflecting the fact that Barrel himself is usually grinning.

Primary ability: Ability to conjure 2 Skeletons that look like empty shells of Barrel
Preferred magic: Necromancy
Personality: Barrel is 13 years old, Oogie's "star pupil," and considered the stupidest of the three troublemakers, despite his protests to the contrary. He is the butt of many jokes made by his friends/siblings but usually gets even through his own tricks at which he always gets away with. Barrel wears a skeleton costume and has deformed feet, but otherwise resembles a small human boy, albeit one with white skin, sunken eyes, and perfectly combed green hair. His face is round and has a perpetual grin, except when he is angry. Barrel is usually the pilot of the walking bathtub the trio use as transport. He also likes to eat pumpkins. Barrel is quick to stand up for either of his friends/siblings and may actually be just as, or maybe slightly more intelligent then Lock. He also unintentionally bothers Jack when asking him a number of annoying (and somewhat embarrassing) questions.

Shenzi, Benzai, Ed

Yeah, magic is open ended for experimentation, exploration, and interpretation and what not. There's no pre-set rule to magic, except that they tend to get called by category type and such. Any types of spells and magic are allowed.

Genie flickers out of existence, like a candle going out. A small lamp drops in his place.

Mulan opens the door, "hello?" She scans the room and sees Juliette by herself. "Oh, I apologize for intruding. I think this was Kiara and Kovu's room at some point. I was hoping I could speak to Kiara..."

She looks around for a moment. "Are you new to the school? I notice you're unpacking your bags.

Shenzi bites her lip. "We skimmed through it. Looked for the spells. Didn't find any."

"Useless." Her friend Banzai added.

"Yeah, what he said." Ed reiterated.

Li shook his head. "Ugh," he muttered.

Shenzi shoots a glare at the boy, "you got something to say, b-otch?"

A part of Li wanted tell her off. You can't use magic and be stupid at the same time. It's something that needs to be learned and understood. He chose to keep his mouth shut. "Nope." Li answered, almost sarcastically.

Shenzi's gang turns their attention back at Ozin.

"Listen up geezer. I'm looking for spell books. I need the words to do them, and the ingredients to cast them. I don't give a damn about that equivalent exchange bull crap. I just need to impress my teachers so that I can pass my class."

Li facepalms himself, Shenzi's friends didn't seem to notice.

Aisling, feel free to create your own class schedule. It can be fashion, art, literature, photography, spell binding, alchemy, illusionism, curse, anything really. Nature spell centered or steampunk technology research, students get to choose most of their classes by the time they're 16.

"That question is another favor then, not a wish. Anyways, freshmen and sophomore take 7 basic required classes and 3 optional extra classes if they choose to. Your a junior right? You look past sophmore, so I'm assuming your courses are based on your own personal choice, academic skills, personality traits, and unique powers."

Genie scans the girl a bit, "by the way, what are your powers and spell specialty? You seem a bit... Dainty. Non-combat kind of girl, like a princess."

Genie looks around the room to find Juliette's class schedule. He finds it, and hands it to her.

"That's an easy one!" Genie takes a chocolate bar out of Aladdin's backpack. He uses some alchemy on it to change the flavor. "Also, I've played match maker quite a few times before. I can't control a person's emotion because it always wears off eventually. But I can hook you up with someone your interested in. There's a guy I know, his name's Hercules. Big guy, he plays on the sparring team. He might have a girlfriend but I can break them up pretty easily. Interested in him? There's also Milo, Stitch, Gustavo... Honestly, you name it. I'll even break up Aladdin if your interested in him. I can't make people fall in love, but I can *at least* arrange a date." Genie hands Juliette the chocolate bar for her to grab.

"Good question. The answer is nothing. There's no strings attached to this wish making business. So whenever the wishes are up, I either choose to hang out with you for awhile, or take my lamp and find my next master. It depends how much I grow attach to you. But feel free to pass me along with your friends. I once had a popular kid from this school share me with all his friends back than. That was such a riot! Literally..."

Genie puts his gameboy back into Aladdin's backpack. "Honestly, I've thought about putting limitations on requests, but with over thousands of years of experience, I find limitations to be... boring. Here's the honest truth, I love granting wishes. I hope to do it forever. But, eternity gets boring after awhile. Wish for anything you want, no limitations as long as its possible. Just keep in mind that I'll probably get creative to make it happen."



Genie's small body illuminates a passive aura from his body. He looks to the door, wondering whether he should find other students to grant wishes to. This girl might not have any desires she wants fulfilled, or maybe she'll want to have time to decide on such a wish. "I'll tell you what, let me grant you a sample wish. Just don't say I wish, and ask me for a favor instead. Keep it small since its a just a favor. It won't be as impressive as an actual wish, but I want you to get an idea of what I'm capable of."

Li yawns. Not only are the characters in the book boring, but he also can't seem to find any information on sniffers. He skips to the final chapter. "And so, they lived happily ever after. The sniffer married his former target, and they had children that would pass on the genes to future generations."

Ugh. Another fairy tale ending. Li closes the book, and goes to Orin to return it. Upon reaching him, three other students approach Orin's desk as well.



"Oiy, Orin!" the girl in their group exlaimed. "this book did not teach curses like you said it would. The hell man, I thought you said this book was fricken special." The book was titled 'history and the equivalent exchange principle of ancient curses' . Li noted that the book was probably meant to teach theories on curses, but not curse spells themselves. Something that faculty would obviously forbid.
