"Wait, when can I have my bat back?" Her bat was her protection. Annabelle didn't know how to use a gun, but she could sure as hell swing a bat.

Annabelle looked at the man's outstretched pinky for a second before sighing and intertwining hers with his. "I honestly kept my distance. I joined up with them so I wasn't alone anymore. I was starting to get overwhelmed. They saved me when I was overpowered by some rotters. But they kept mentioning something about being rebels or something, I don't know. I kept my distance, except for when the rotters got near."

"No. No one paid much attention to me honestly. The other people I was with were louder and attracted more attention."

Annabelle's eyes softened some. "I-I'm Anna." Her voice wavered as she tried to gain confidence, Her eyes flickered to the kid that looked around her age if not younger.

Annabelle took a mental note of their power play technique since two of the men placed their gun on the table. She looked up, slightly out of fear when one whispered to her. She locked eyes with him but didn't say a word, deciding that playing shy might be her best bet in this situation. She also didn't know if her voice would be steady enough to speak. She abruptly froze with fear when the other man said he wanted to speak to her alone..

Annabelle sat at the table with the three other people she barely knew. She was desperate for some company and allowed herself to be dragged along with them. She kept her green eyes locked on the table, trying to not gain any attention until she could assess the situation.

Back story: Annabelle was just your average teenager. She had plenty of friends, went to a good college, and had a slightly dysfunctional (doesn't everyone, though?) but good family. Her biggest obstacle in life is her anxiety and depression. She suffers internally but tries her hardest to seem okay on the outside. She studied communications and aspired to seem even more confident on the outside even if she always feels like falling apart.

Equipment: Wooden baseball bat with nails protruding from it, an old, school backpack with a few cans of food, a couple water bottles, and some flint she had stolen.

Useful skills: Outgoing and able to be trusted easily, high determination, and can make fire
