"Stupid. So stupid. " Rose muttered to herself. She knew better than to get stuck outside at night, alone. It was too late to find safety before nightfall and she knew she was screwed. I'm going to get myself killed. she thought. She had her pistol in her left hand and knife in her right, trying to move as quietly and quickly as possible.

But then she heard screams. Rose quickly started sprinting toward the sounds, but she was too far away to make it to the people. Rose was long past the phase of guilting herself. They were stupid, too. They shouldn't have been out here either. But that little voice inside her head told her that that's not how she really felt. That she did care, she just can't live with guilt anymore..

She slowed back to a quick walk, and before long found shelter. It looked used so she cautiously scoped it out. As she was watching a feral snuck up behind her. "Damn it" she said fairly loudly because it scared the crap out of her. Her right hand instinctively jabbed the feral's head. She breathed heavily and tried to regain her composure.
Name: Rose Hill

Nickname: None, she just goes by Rose

Age: 20

Sex: Female

Relationship: None yet

Gear: For weapons, she has a pistol (She doesn't have much gun knowledge, she just knows how to shoot) and a survival knife. Rose has a black hiking backpack, compass, water canteen (she looted from an outdoor store), and a few cans of food.

Race: Caucasian

Back story: Rose was your average college student. She was halfway through school to become an elementary school teacher. But then the shift happened and ruined all that for her. Now all that matters are the parts of your life that prepared you to survive. Rose's father was big into the outdoors. He dragged her camping every year. He tried to teach her how to survive; track, hunt, make fire, etc. Rose was never very interested, but she still had to go every year until she turned 18. She is by no means a survival expert because she never payed much attention to her father, but she does have some knowledge that she happened to remember from her childhood.

Pre-shtf profession: Nanny and student

Appearance:

Quirks and personality: Rose is very caring. She likes to hear other's opinions and is often a good mediator during conflict. She doesn't want to be taken advantage of by other's, so she often tries to put up a tough, mean front. She uses sarcasm frequently to help achieve this.

Since the world went to shit, surviving is her top priority. Rose isn't very trusting and won't hesitate to act if she thinks she's being played or manipulated. While Rose might not be very strong, she's quick; able to get in and out easily.

Character Sheet

Name: Avery Willow
Age: 21
Race: Imot
Class: Ranged
Affiliation: Against the King
Appearance:

Avery is thin and of, what she considers, average height. She stands at about 5'3 and weighs around 120 lbs. She normally leaves her long, thick burgundy hair down but occasionally fastens it into a braid. Avery often is seen wearing a sash that she uses to store her various potions, as well. Her most identifiable features are her pale yellow/green tattoos on her face and shoulders that compliment her piercing green eyes.

Profession: Alchemist

Personality: Avery is fierce and feisty. She stands her ground and seems to be fearful of none. Avery is a hunter at heart, which accounts for her serious stature. She's good at keeping her emotions in check and being logical, but deep down Avery is just a sweetheart. She cares about the well-being of others but isn't afraid to a put an arrow through someone who threatens her or her loved ones.

History: Avery grew up in the woods of Quath. From a young age, she was taught to survive off of the gifts of the land. Her mother taught Avery all kinds of different plants and their functions, while her father took her hunting.

As Avery got older, she became an effecient bow hunter, always making sure her family had food to eat. When she wasn't out hunting, Avery was studying how different ingredients reacted with each other, thus is why she makes a good alchemist.

About a year or two ago Avery moved to Burril. She grew tired of the hatred King Kierris was spreading. While Avery might not always seem the friendliest, she abhorred the way the King and his followers treated people. In her opinion, she, nor anyone else, is worse than another because of their race.

Eventually she caught wind of a rumor. The rumor said that the opposition was rising out of Burril, and if she wanted to join them that's where she should live. She said her goodbyes to her family, and went on her way to Burril. It was a rather exciting thing for her, leaving home and being "grown up". Once in Burril, Avery opened up a small Alchemy shop to keep her going. Her living quarters are above the shop; a small dining room, kitchen, and a tiny bedroom. It might not seem like much, but it works for her.

Upon seeing the irritation of Valechka, Annabelle flashbacked and remembered how fast her parent's had changed how they felt about her, and it looked like this girl was doing the same. Annabelle shifted slightly to a more reserved stance but tried to stay friendly to Valechka.

"I, uh, I'm sorry. You spoke a little fast for me the first time." Annabelle nervously moved a loose piece of her brunette hair behind her ear. However, when she heard Valechka ask where to put her potatoes she couldn't help but giggle, and her demeanor lightened up once again. "I'm sorry Valechka, I don't know the answers to any of those questions. I'm just as confused as you are, but I'll make sure we find a place for your potatoes." Annabelle wasn't being rude by that, she was just being playful and really would help the girl find a place for them.
@KOgaming Annabelle quickly turned towards the small, young girl once she felt a tug at her dress. She kind of giggled at the girl. "Yes, this is Four Winds, and yes it would appear we are classmates. I didn't quite catch your name. What is it?" Annabelle assessed the girl speaking to her. She really was a tiny thing. And her age along with her demeanor oozed a beautiful innocence, in Annabelle's opinion.

"I'm Annabelle. I'm extremely excited to be here. too!" Annabelle gave her a friendly smile. This girl eased Annabelle, she felt comfortable around her.

Annabelle is normally wary about letting people get close to her after her parents shunned her from such a young age. However, being in this new environment in a place with others like her, maybe she'd let herself make a friend or two..
@Raizin Are you sure? I can change mine around if needed
Annabelle took a deep breath before walking up to Four Winds. Normally in a situation like this she'd be silent, almost unnoticeable, but today was different. She said a lot of "oohs" and "ahs" and even a few "Look at that!" to the kids walking near her. She was utterly amazed by the school. She already felt it was going to be much better than what she was use too.

After some of her excitement died down, she looked around and assessed the other kids. At 17, she seemed to be a little older than most, but not the oldest. She blended in relatively well, which she was happy about. Her long brunette hair was fashioned into a braid that she swept over her right shoulder, and she wore a blue summer dress, similar to a few other girls.

Overall, Annabelle was excited to see what this experience would hold. Anything would be better than the life of a runaway..
