Protector of King Belzeneff
Flarence grew up with a luxurious childhood and lived a peaceful life under King Belantino's reign, however, when he was 14 his family began to suffer under Bellarose's rule. For the first time in his life he had to worry about money and his parents tried their best to use their remaining fortune wisely, and it was difficult for him to adjust to the changes. He could no longer buy whatever he wanted or eat extravagant dinners everyday; Flarence was lucky his family was able to keep their house. Luckily, he was able to continue his education by joining with other noble children and learning from kind wizards who taught them for free. By the time Belzeneff executed Bellarose, Flarence had changed from a spoiled and carefree child to a serious no-nonsense adult.
At the first opportunity he applied for the wizard council in hopes of getting a job to earn back money for his family. He became a protector and after Valiant and Jenessa retired from being Belzeneff's protectors, Flarence was one of the replacements. Flarence is incredibly devoted to Belzeneff and acts incredibly overprotective. He feels wary of anybody who is nearby and will interrogate people ruthlessly until he thinks its safe for Belzeneff, will insist to taste test the king's food for poison, will enter an area first to inspect it, etc. Sadly, at times he can go overboard, and will freak out if there is so much as dust in the room that could make Belzeneff sneeze.
Off duty he does not act so paranoid and he spends his free time with relaxing with friends or family. His wife Flaery is the protector of the queen so he gets to see her whenever Bellona is with Belzeneff, and they are fortunate to usually have the same schedule where they have the same days off. But those days off are rare, so Flarence rarely sees his son Flarynn. They have a strained relationship due to his son constantly upset that him and Flaery are not always around, and Flarence doesn't really know how to deal with his emotional teenage son.
