Character Sheet

Appearance: A short description and/or an image.
Name: Your character's name and or any aliases
Age: Your character's age.

Personality: I want to meet your character in the RP. But small things you can put here are: Loves, hates, likes, life goals, favorite activities, weaknesses, personal quest(s). One thing I will ask for here is their resistance in situations. Are they likely to freeze up or act quick? Are they under stress/get stressed easily?
Background: Give me a small summary of your character's history and bio. Were you a dentist? Have a family? Rich or poor?

Skills: What can your character do? Were they a farmer with a lot of knowledge about plants? Did they take a boy scout course a long time ago? Are they good with numbers and calculating chances? Or maybe they're a geography buff who can route by stars?
Gear: What do you have? Remember, these people are on vacation so it would be quite weird to take a knapsack full of rope.

Not allowed

Things that they will confiscate upon entry of the boat are weapons, alcohol and other flammable liquids, sharp objects (except for safety razors for shaving), candles and the like, drugs, skateboards and surfboards, self-defense objects (nunchucks, handcuffs, pepper spray), and HAM radios. If you're found with these, you may be put on a 'watch list' and security will closely watch you while aboard or you could be put in jail on the boat.

1936 - Key West, Florida USA

The last frost has come over the land and summer begins to peek its head out. Thousands of tourists from around the world are booking hotels and condos on Florida's beaches. But, there's been a new trend for the more adventurous vacationers. Cruise lines are becoming the exciting, posh alternative with more sites and luxury than a regular resort. People from all walks of life are choosing this exotic alternative with ranges of packages and room quality. The boat will be stopping at hotspots around Cuba and bonus locations in the Bahamas before routing back to sandy Key West.

High free to low-casual. No magic. Partially historical, but not 1700's. Free roleplay in the sense of length because there may be a bit of back and forth.
Good place for OOC and spam

-Find a way back to homeland
-Survive and create a self-sustained colony

Rules

1. I'm expecting that all will write about a paragraph, and will try to be descriptive, clear, and specific as they can. I'm putting it in the partially-free category for purposes of interaction responses later in the game as they would need a reply from another to continue. This is not to reduce on things like basic grammar and spelling.
2. Be realistic. No God-Mods, no ridiculous items or actions.
3. This RP is rated pg13, so cussing is allowed and some gory parts but nothing too bad or too detailed on those sections.
4. Player knowledge is not character knowledge. Just because you know something (be it through OOC or another person's post) does not mean that your character knows, this should be a given and is one of my pet peeves.
5. Be nice to each other and realise that just because you have a problem with a character doesn't exactly mean you have to have a problem with a player and vice versa. Also, if I do appoint one, a Co-GMs is also respected as if it were me.
6. Last, but certainly not least, have fun :)

But during a randomly selected night of the vacation, the boat begins to go under. You are rushed into a lifeboat with whatever you have with you. During the pitch black darkness, your boat floats away from the rest of them. In the early morning, you spot land that you've drifted near and decide to paddle over to it. Can you survive the brutal environment? Will you find your way home? Or will you die before you have the chance?

Talent: Flash and Fog
Personality: Just as flash and fog are near opposites but appear in the same cloud, Skye has opposite personalities in her body. When she feels foggy, she's sad and floats here to there without much effort or stir. But when she feels flashy, she's bold and an unstoppable force. She is usually in 'fog mode' but when provoked, flash can pop out of nowhere.
