Alexandria heads to the indicated system, and begins tapping through the touchscreen, talking as she goes. "It's strange being on this side of the interface. So far it just seems to contain instructions for the devices in this room. It appears to be a workshop. Surprisingly advanced, and crude at the same time. The construction facilities are immensely versatile, but only know how to make a few simple devices."

She swipes through the menus, speed-reading the lists with instinctual ease. "The only help functions are essentially instruction manuals, but there is a 'communications device' available for construction... oh, no, we lack the raw materiel."

Then there's a new sensation, accompanied by a small noise from Alexandria's stomach. "Oh dear... I think... I think I am hungry. Are we in bioroids?"
And here's me still settling into my shoes for the first...

Though I have always liked the idea of cyberkinesis...

No. Bad Bai. focus.
No true Panzerbjorn should need an axe.
Yeah, I was just using the doll as an example. I'm currently thinking along the lines of some kind of magical transference - Moving the properties of one thing to another.

Think I've found a pic I like too - img.booru.org/grognard//images/2/bcf60..
Ooh, so tempted to change my pic... just found one that seems a little more Roberta. I like the old one's hair better, but this one has her style down...

I'll have to break the cycle with my submission, but I'm blanking a bit on ideas.

All I know so far is I want to use magic based on sympathetic links - Making two things act as though they were the same. The voodoo doll is a typical example of this, but it's a broader magic not limited to just dolls of people.
Damnit, now I can't stop thinking about ideas for Kyro... once you've got a direct connection into someone's mind, it seems a bit of a waste just to upload weapons.

"Woah, I know kung-fu... and how to repair a TX-456 engine core."

To keep that special for him on explain why Xiu-Xiu can't do it we just need technobabble! Let's see... Jacob's project designers were a lot less ethical, and didn't care about how much stress such a process might put on a human mind. Meanwhile Xiu-Xiu's team's first priority was preserving her mind in the transfer to nanites, so they emulate a human neural network as closely as possible, not able to access her mind beyond sensory inputs, usually in the form of a digital overlay.
Well, other than posting here and PMs, we don't have a way to.
Kinda tempted to go renegade and just start posting Ic...
Roberta grumbles at the cheerful announcement waking her up, but it's hard to stay annoyed at it after so long. Going back to sleep is an option, but she's probably not going to manage it.

Instead, she lifts her head off the bed, torso off the sofa, legs out the armchair and pulls herself back to normal before getting dressed, selecting a short red skirt, heavy boots and a studded collar to go with her leotard, sliding into all of them without bothering to untie laces or unbuckle straps.

After that, she leaves her top-floor apartment by stepping off the balcony, stretching her legs to touch the ground without missing a step, and keeping them that long until she arrives at the mall, her extra-long stride passing by several people.

She's sure the mall staff let the food go cold faster, to keep people active and competitive.
