"And if one of the two groups is getting overwhelmed and needs help, then say something to us so ya' don't die before we can send anyone in to--"

Woefully, Aaron was unable to complete the final word of his explanation. An approaching meatball hopped up into the air and tucked it's little legs in, effectively diving into a spin. This allowed the delicious creature to cover the ground between itself and Aaron, mid-sentence between "overwhelmed" and his unspoken "help". At such speed, Aaron was unable to notice and dodge it. The positioning of his folded arms robbed him of the ability to catch his fall. He hit the ground hard as the surprisingly heavy meatball rolled over him. A loud snap signaled the breaking of a bone. Alexis, who had been facing Aaron as he explained his plan, was also bowled over. Unable to catch herself, her head hit the ground with a smack. Unlike Aaron, however, she was unable move-- completely unconscious.

The hell-raising meatball continued onward towards Chris, joining a second meatball as it tuck-and-rolled towards the vulnerable arbiter-- just as Angel began her harrowing scream. The meatballs unfurled their tiny legs and opened their gaping mouths in distress. They rolled around in a directionless panic for as long as Angel screamed, ultimately left stranded on their backs, kicking their tiny legs furiously in a futile attempt to right themselves. As the sound of her voice faded, a high pitched screeching noise coming from the fallen meatballs became audible.

The so far docile noodle appendages quickly raced towards the rest of the group, though they still seemed to have some trouble finding their targets as they excitedly patted the ground around green team. One noodle found Aaron, instantly wrapping itself around his torso with all the hungry aggression of a starved snake. As this happened, tiny bits of glitter, originating from red team's direction, descended upon them.

She'd been stretching for almost thirty minutes now. Mentally prepping herself to start, but immediately burrowing back into her stretching routine like a terrified rabbit every time she saw someone enter her line of sight. She wasn't sure what she was so concerned about. Watching a girl run as fast as a car on the freeway here on this campus probably wasn't going to draw as much attention as she thought.

Her procrastination, disguised as patience, went unpunished, however, as she was finally given a long, people-less gap to begin. She exhaled, readjusting her headphones. It had taken her a good hour after breakfast to find the track listed under the amenities on the second map and then find it for real. No more stalling.

Cal exploded forward. She felt her foot sink as it cracked the track. She tripped in an effort to stop herself, rolling and sliding across the rough surface.

"Whoops!" she exhaled sharply as she stood up, looking between the new tripping hazard she'd just created and her bare knees-- not a single scrape. She couldn't decide whether or not it was a comfort. She'd never put much thought into what it must feel like to have super resistance, let alone super strength. Even now, she struggled to put the way it felt into words.

Another person entered her line of vision and she quickly shoved her hands into her pockets, casually stepping off the track. She didn't want to get busted for breaking it-- not on her first day here.... Maybe she'd come back a bit later?

Cal felt the hair on the back of her neck rise as she sat up on the track bleachers-- another unfinished Office episode in hand as her ankle cuff rattled off information and orders. What she felt... it was something akin to excitement, though she didn't feel like that word was appropriate. She tried to remind herself that she might die as she hurriedly locked her iPad and tucked it under her arm-- but that only excited her more.

With a carefully controlled pace, she ran back to her room, diving under her bed for the object she'd bought in town that day-- long and wrapped in an old, moth eaten sheet. Pawn shops never failed to deliver-- even in a town like this. There was a hard knock at the door just before Cal swung it open. Before the guard could say a word, she eagerly slipped into the hallway-- doing everything she could not to smile.

The soldier raised a bemused eyebrow at her as she turned to him and spoke.

"Lead the way, guy! Let's do this!"
@Sametheon Welcome! Oh, and, uh... thanks! lol
Boy oh boy, why would anyone here complain about copying stuff that isn't theirs purely for aesthetics? Especially when the majority of people here have used whatever picture on google they can find to depict a character not once, but several times? Same for avatars and signatures. You didn't draw it and you PROBABLY didn't source it. I'm not saying I don't do this, 'cuz I TOTALLY DO (though I try to use the picture's original source), but... this whole argument just seems silly.

Who seriously gives a fuck?
@Holy Grail Well, I mean-- I kind of asked that nobody fill out a character sheet yet. With the exception of jasonwolf, who I approved already. I appreciate the enthusiasm, though?

@jumpadraw@Furia

After some discussion, Chanda and I decided that Furia's character idea would best suit our needs. If anything changes in the near future, we'll be sure to let you guys know.
@Holy Grail Sorry, wait-- are you filling out a character sheet?
@Holy Grail Sure, there could be Gerudo Mystics.

You've got some Gerudo who want to break the bad stereotype of the "evil, thieving Gerudo" and some who figure "hey, if everyone views us that way, might as well get something out of it". Ganondorf has been long gone for a very VERY long time at this point, though. So any Gerudo who says stuff like "guuurl, wouldn't it be great if Ganondorf came back?" would probably be looked at as weirdly as anyone from modern day Mongolia saying they wished Genghis Khan were still alive. Nobody knows that Ganondorf is coming back yet, so it's a moot point for now.

I'm bit more interested to know your own response to your third (technically fourth) question. What do YOU think the chance would be of a Gerudo raiding party taking back a baby female Hylian and raising her as one of their own? How do YOU think she would be viewed?

I think my responses have pretty much answered #4. Let's just keep it in the interest check for now.

@jumpadraw@Furia
In any case, Chanda and I are winding down to the point where we're just gonna go ahead and pick someone. Probably later this afternoon. I mean, I guess you're welcome to post whatever other information about your character-concepts you want in the meantime, though.
@jasonwolf Looks good to me-- just center his name and give it a header so it matches the other character sheets. After that, go ahead and post it in the Character section. Will you be needing a summary, or would you be alright with reading the posts we have so far before you jump in?

To everyone else, my co-GM has been tied up at work, so I may not get back to y'all until tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
Hey guys! Like Chanda said, I'm working on getting two more people in here real quick-like and then we can proceed. Except I love everybody.

@jasonwolf Ahhh that's right! Lmao, you'll have to forgive me. It's been a few years since I finished Skyward Sword and I forgot all about the other robot breed. Alright, that works then.

@Holy Grail Alright, just wanted to make sure that was clear. My co-GM should be off work in a few hours, so I'll get back to you then.
